Surprise!! New forum features including images! It's a good day for the PU forum!!  I won't even go into the new features. Let's just say we've caught up to most other boards finally. Discover them yourself by adding a reply. Report bugs in this thread also. Other than that, let's celebrate!  Be sure to read our updated forum rules about posting images. Like most forums, images can only be hotlinked right now, not uploaded to the forum. who knows what to expect! BTW, here's a copy of the initial image rules. These can and will change as we learn how to best moderate it's use. This is a new feature as of March 31, 2010. Images can be included in posts now using the Image+ icon above the message field. You will be prompted for the url of the image you wish to embed in your post. Please be responsible with hotlinking images and read the rules below. Not intended for image trading purposes. Our forum is available as a useful resource for porn site consumers. It simply wouldn't function the same if threads were overtaken by endless image trading, most of which is illegal anyway. This doesn't mean you can't post images of hot babes, but it should be for reference purposes (see below). What kind of images are not permitted? For 2257 (legal) purposes, we do not allow hardcore images of any kind. No penetration, oral sex, erect penis, torture, etc. If it can be seen on HBO, then it's probably ok. Posting illegal material such as child porn, scat, beastiality, will result in immediate suspension. Posting copyrighted photos is strongly discouraged and 100% at your own risk. Examples of adult images for reference purposes: -Posting about a new model discovery. -Inquiring about the name of a specific model. -What other sites a specific model can be found. -Locating sites with similar content. -Admiring the beauty of a specific photo/model. Where can I upload images I want to post? Since we don't allow uploading images to our forum, you have to either hotlink the image already located on another server (be sure you have permission) or upload the image somewhere. There are many free image hosts online (try a google search). Make sure they allow hotlinking to forum threads. Can I post non-adult images? Of course! Part of the reason we wanted to allow images was to add character and humor. There are sites like Funny Forum Pics that allow the hotlinking of their images within threads. Is there a image posting limit? This will change from time to time. Right now, please don't post more than 2 images per post. We will adjust the limits as we go.  So how do we post pictures? I tried using a couple of the hosts I use on other forums and it says that hotlinking isn't allowed. Tried using the insert picture button and it didn't work either. Hey RB, if you look closely, you'll see that picturedump is actually doing some trickery. If you load this in your browser, you'll see that it looks like a normal web page, not an image. In Firefox, you can right-click on the image and go to the properties to find the *real* url.  ^^ As you can see, picturedump doesn't allow hotlinking. You're welcome, Rick. I don't know about having to be whitelisted either - something worth checking into. People should also be aware that Imageshack and Photobucket don't allow nudity. They'll delete the picture as they find them. I know Imagevenue is a go, pretty sure Tinypic lets it slide and not sure about the rest. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

Considering the things I have seen my cats do in real life, it looks perfectly real to me. I had a cat that was too adventurous for her own good, unfortunately - got hit by a car. But she had a short and very LIVELY life. An example - one time there was some flying waspy bug in my apartment flitting away in the corner - high up in the corner. So my cat proceeds to climb up onto the tv set and leap up at the bug, coming crashing down on her butt on the tv set. She twitched her butt for a few seconds, looked around the room, climbed my book case to the top, jumped from there to the curtain rod over the window and, hanging with her front paws over the curtain rod, proceeded to swing her body back and forth so that she could maneuver over to the corner of the room. She lost momentum at a certain point, looked over at me and meowed to get hauled off the curtain rod, but she made a good try. I decided that I would no longer let her watch cheesy action movies on Cinemax. | |

Sounds very typical of kitten behavior. I have three cats but they are all close to ten years old. They don't do much now, but when they were younger! Car wrestling, cat gymnastics, non stop every day. Very entertaining to watch. | |

I'll probably get flack for saying this, but frankly, I don't much care for forums that are festooned with a bunch of little emoticon pictures, especially the multiple animated ones. I'm not saying to never, ever use them, but I think they're often used to excess and the result is less readable text and a lot of poor taste. The pictures that people are uploading are sometimes nice, especially the boobies, and I don't mean the avian variety. Anyway, this is a plea for sanity. Please, don't overdo it with the ugly little yellow faces. OK? I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

I am not a fan of the animated ones--very distracting when I am trying to type a reply, on top of trying to keep my grammar and syntax at least readable. Sorry to hear about yout cat Panther. Have always loved animals, and hated what some people do to them. She sounded like a lovely cat. The smiley's and animations get the thumbs up from me. I consider them fun. As for the boobies above. I find the real animal ones more attractive than the surgically mutilated plastic ones. Gannets are another favourite of mine. I figure the new toy is going to be played with for a while, then the emoticon use will die down. Other than that, the only small bother I see is that there are so many of them, it elongates the page to where you have to scroll down a bit to hit the Add Reply Button. Interesting. The smiley section for me is the same height as the contents in the left column (message box, styles, and text). What browser version are you using? I should've figured it was a browser issue myself. I'm stubbornly holding onto Firefox 2 and have been losing bits and pieces of functionality on a regular basis. Firefox 2?  We tested the layout in the latest version of FF and IE6, IE7, and IE8. So it should conform properly to most common browsers. It's really tough to cover them all unfortunately. Curious to know what's holding you back from upgrading to the latest Firefox. I find it much faster and more stable than older versions.
