Msg # User Message Date

RagingBuddhist (65) By reading one of my reviews, of course :P

Seriously - I go for a user review before anything else.

Marcus (47) PU review, by far. The TBP reviews are helpful for some technical details, but the way members' areas change, they're often out-of-date as soon as they're added.

pat362 (373) I picked go for both because more info is never a bad thing when talking about new sites. Especially new sites because they are an unknown commodity.

Decent reviews on TBP and/or PU doesn't mean that I will join if the site's preview sections is crappy.
Crappy previews don't always equal crappy sites but they often do.

Monahan (42) Step 1. PU and TBP score. If over 75,
Step 2. Read PU review if no more than 2 years old. If good,
Step 3. Read TBP review if no more than 2 years old. If good,
Step 4. Go to preview site and see what's on it. If skimpy, adios. If substantial, and if I like the content, and if the biller is well known, I will take the plunge.

If there is no PU review and/or comments, and if there is no TBP review, I'll check out the preview site but that's where I stop.

Drooler (220) Both types of reviews (including the site facts) plus any comments that former or current members have made. That ought to do it.

gaypornolover (38) I find PU reviews the most helpful when written by one of the better contributors - somehow amateur reviews just seem able to give me a better "feel" for how the site really is than professional reviewers.

TBP site facts are very useful of course but I tend not to find their reviews quite as helpful somehow.

Previews are useful too, but you need reviews to let you know how accurate the previews are and exactly what you're getting, with any hidden traps or downsides previews will never tell you!

Denner (235) Well, a bit surprised - placed this poll suggestion so long ago, I do not even remember it. Still it's obviously mine - and then I'd say numero 5 - both.....

jberryl69 (Disabled) I hit "Other" because all of the above will apply PLUS that it fits my niche.

PinkPanther (46) I vote all-of-the-above and more. For one thing, one has to learn that TBP reviewers have their own tastes, being, you know, human and all. They don't particularly like solo-girl tease material, for example, so one has to take that into account when judging their reviews.

I check out sites as many ways as I can in relation to their updates. And sometimes I just jump in because I'm hot for the model(s).
