Lionheart (47) I'm guessing that the football/soccer one doesn't include American football, I love American football to bad all teams in Washington are having really bad years, college and professional.

Drooler (220) Umm, excuse me, but ... where's basketball? Doesn't it deserve a little more recognition than to be relegated to "Other"?

elonlybuster (39) Well you gotta remember there's only space for 6 options, and because of the broad nature of the possible answers there has to be an "Other" option. The poll questions also has to appeal to more than jsut Americans.

There is another possibility: add enough spaces for options. And basketball, my friend, is not just an American sport.

Actually, yes it was Football (as in American football) and/or soccer. I almost included Rugby in with those too.

Sorry Drooler, just ran out of space for basketball .. and no, we are not ready to expand the poll options at this time.

And yes, we try to be sensitive to the fact that not all our Users are American.

Toadsith (48) I occasionally follow Professional Cycling. Didn't follow it as much last year as they suspended all of my favorite big name riders due to the damn drug scandals. The UCI dictated the teams couldn't modify their bicycles to ride faster, so the logical conclusion is that they would start modifying the riders to ride faster - what did they expect would happen?

badandy400 (103) I personally follow NASCAR and Football.

I am a big fan of Mark Marthin, Kyle Busch, and Kevin Harvick.

As for football I am a long time fan of the Patriots, it is great to see them doing so well. I also like the Steelers. The 49ers and Rams are teams I will cheer for if they are not playing the Patriots.

Also, I love whatever team is playing the Browns, especially if they beat them! I have a deal with my girlfriend, we will get married when the Browns get to the Super Bowl. :)

I can watch fighting sports, but do not follow them, same goes for hockey and other racing sports.

Wittyguy (105) I'll probably have to go with Toadsith and say pro cycling (for some reason I'm addicted to the Tour De France) since the Seahawks and Vikings suck so much this year.

PinkPanther (46) I'm a boxing fan, getting interested in MMA as time goes on.

The Pavlik/Hopkins fight was a great example of why I love boxing - who would have thought that a 26 year old excellent figher would have been out-done in terms of speed, movement as well as strategy and intelligence by a 43 year old boxer - brilliant stuff!

Monahan (44) TENNIS!

Especially women's tennis.

You see it's this way. Those cute little tennis outfits with the flying skirts coupled with the tops that show the hard, erect nipples makes me a big women's tennis fan.

I know, call me a "prevert," but the women's game is also better than the slam bam men's game because there's a lot more strategy involved and the talent is awesome.

My favorite tennis babes for looks are Ana Ivanovic, Martina Hingis (now retired), Dominika Cibulkova and, of course, Maria Sharapova.

She's a new one to me but worth keeping a close eye on.

Another fox is Nicole Vaidisova. However she seems like she's slipping in her determination.
