Do you edit picture sets? For those of us who like to collect pictures, do you guys usually edit the sets (i.e. delete some pictures, etc.) or do you prefer keeping the full, original thing? Also, do you download the sets at the maximum resolution possible or do you prefer other smaller sizes? Let's discuss collecting pictures!  | |

I always edit them. It's rare that a picture set has only pics I'd like to keep. Blurry faces, sour faces, often goofy faces along with poor lighting or hot streams of light get tossed into the trash can from whence, metaphorically at least, they came. With the higher resolution monitor I've had for nearly two years, it's now a necessity to get pics that are at least 2000px on the long side. Sometimes I like to get a good face closeup, and to keep it from getting pixelated, I sometimes go for the even bigger size. It's a lot of work doing this stuff, but work to some is just a hobby to others. Some people like to grow vegetables or flowers. Me, I'm at my computer with a different kind of blossom. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

Definitely with Drooler on this in that I spend a fair amount of time editing sets. I usually download the zip and then pick out the best 30 or so pics that I want. This used to be no problem but at least more sites are now giving you hundreds of pic as opposed the few dozen you got years ago. If there's a lot of white space / dead space I'll frequently crop the pic down. I also like to crop out the watermark if I'm going that far and sometimes flip the pics on their axis 180 degrees so you get some different angles instead of the same repetition. Poorly lit, fuzzy crap and b.s. like that doesn't even get downloaded. I use a 23" monitor and have no real interest in sending my pics up to a large tv so I rarely download the largest dimensions unless they are smaller (under 3k pixels) to begin with. What makes porn more of a hobby for me is the fact that I will mess around with pics and customize the sets according to my excellent taste standards. That's what make "picture porn pervs" who they are I think. I do grab vids but only the best of the best and I don't watch them that often. | |

Editing and creating your own from video is about the best way. I like when vid and pic are DL as you can add to the pic list with scenes that should have been included. Since 2007 | |

There are two sides to the "whole big mess 'o pics" scenario. If the zip file contains 400, then you've got a lot of looking to do. This is especially annoying when the girl is giving basically the same expression and pose 6 to 10 (or more) times before breaking free of the apparent catatonic cheerfulness. But if there are only 50 pics, who knows what you might have missed had there been more? Some pics are definitely more exciting than others -- but not in some alternative universe. And this is what distinguishes one site from another. If it's Brazzers, you can expect a nearly Warholesque battery of similitude (but without as much color variation). With MetArt, on the other hand, it's not nearly as bad. But sometimes it's a bit too much same-old as well. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

It is typically the larger sets I edit. When you start reaching multiples of a hundred, you get photos that are the same and that is to much to bother with. I find a picture that has all I require and remove any others that basically the same. I actually avoid large sets, unless one interests me. I also like to create my own fantasy story, so I put them in an order that follows my fantasy and even add captions using one of my Paint programs. I like the sites that allow you to pick and chose what pic files it will download so you can choose the ones you want and do not. I think babes.com does this ... Since 2007 Edited on Oct 09, 2014, 08:55am | |

I don't edit picture sets anymore, although I used to. HD space just isn't limited the way it once was, although my time now is. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

I often edit some of the photos, but always keep all of the originals. The edited ones get a filename extension. I do a fair amount of cropping, fine rotation with cropping, and occasionally I use Paint to airbrush out an annoying blemish or two. Once I'm done going through a photoset, my favorite pics from the set get copied to my favorites folder for the model. This consists of my favorite pics from all the photosets I have from her across many sites. A pleasant hobby indeed! | |

This post concerned me but not completely since I never download picture sets BUT I'm a HUGE pictures lover! I don't download picture sets for these reasons: - I prefer keeping the pictures I really like only (those that turn me on) - Picture sets are getting bigger and heavier so I'd rather focus my internet bandwith and download limit on HD scenes - I'm very picky when it comes to pictures. There are some poses and positions that really turn me off and I don't want them ruining the experience when I'm jerking off  in full screen slideshow mode! | |

In the days of limited download speed & storage capacity, I used to edit extensively. These days I am not so obsessive about it. If I like the theme of a set, I will download it & perhaps edit at leisure later. That said I still really prefer a user defined custom zip set function. Size wise, as long as it looks good on my monitor I am happy. I don't bother with the really large format download options. Cap'n. I Edit. I have a million plus still images. Without editing, this hobby would overwhelm me. I still have unopened zip files from the last decade that I’ll get to any minute now. Since the advent of digital photography, there is a tendency to include too much non-erotic material for my tastes. The exception, forty or fifty of my favorites, I will save images of them doing their taxes. The preceding refers only to my deletion habits. Of all the ladies in various stages of undress that reside on the web, only a sprinkling are associated with skilled photographers. There are few photos that cannot be easily improved with PhotoShop. I have become quite proficient in the repair of bad photography and stemming of the crimson tide. There is entirely too much red in porn and that is easily remedied in seconds. Next, the watermarks. Watermark removal? I am the master. There is a prevailing thought amongst some that while color can be interesting, true photography is black and white or sepia. This also is very simple in PS. The removal of color and the tweaking of contrast can produce true artistry. The tiniest amount of gape can be quite nice and easy to affect. Don’t get me started Michael unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is gonna suck. | |

Not only do I edit the sets for content, I edit them for size, framing, perspective, and occasionally, gape. But this makes certain assumptions about the set. There have to be enough pictures with specific types of poses, and they have to be good pics, and then there is the question of the skill of the photography to begin with. There is no use editing crappy sets, as all you'll have is crappy edited sets. Whoopie. But I always keep the original sets intact too. I sometimes want to do a different edit...
