Drooler (220) I say "No." While I doubt I'll change my own very often, what's the harm?

There's a lot one can say with avatars. It's our only means of visual expression here outside of character emoticons.

Jay G (67) Why not? if it's fun they can change it twice a day and it wouldn't bother me.

lk2fireone (196) Some avatars are really cool, and I have been disappointed when they were dropped. Just my opinion.

TalonIcefire (6) Initially, I was against changing avatars frequently. However, I must now agree with drooler. Although my avatar will rarely change, I have in the past used it to express a mood.

elonlybuster (39) They shouldn't unless they've had problems with previous avatars. I've had the same one for the past maybe 2 years (I don't think I have it on this forum), but at the same time I know other people who do nothing but play with photoshop all day who'll change it weekly.

Denner (235) Does anyone notice, like williamj asks? Probably not - Only thing those changes can create is a bit confusion - but bottomline: we all know the names, after all... So: No problems here. (and BTW: those avatars are also kind of fun, aren't they?)

pat362 (373) No because it inspires others to do the same. Isn't change a good thing.

Lionheart (47) No, like what the everyone is saying it doesn't effect anything major about the person's account, so why not?

ramscrota (12) I'm not in favour of changing avitars willy-nilly. But I think some allowance needs to be made for users to experiment, so they can be totally satisfied with theirs.

TheRizzo (23) Doesn't bother me much at all. I try to remember the name and not the avitar although it can help sometimes when someone has a memorable one like Drooler for example.

Wittyguy (105) Apparently this one might have been made in reaction to me since I pretty much change weekly. Of course I answered "NO". It's just another fun part of the forum so no harm no foul. I agree with the ban on animated avatars since those can get annoying but otherwise everything else seems fine.

apoctom (145) As TrashMan said, who cares? It's just an avatar, not the username.
