Well, I can only speak from my own perspective.
I never print photos out, so as long as I can get a crisp full image on screen I am happy.
I am not that bothered about 'zooming in' to the nth degree.

I completely agree with you. I've rarely had to deal with webmasters
but if they start to use every possible excuse to justify what I consider to be bad business decisions or practices and/or treat me like some piece of crap then they can kiss my money goodbye because I will never spend another penny on any of their products.

Ditto.
Captcha make no sense at all and all that the assignment of a random p/w and user name serves no real benefit to the site.

This is one time when I wish I was wrong and that many people had proofof my erros because I despair that there will soon be very little porn made that I wish to see or let alone pay to see.

Sorry, but pretty much everything I've seen would not rationally be classified as striptease. Hence, why I'm not a very good judge and start yelling at the screen "Take that stupid shirt off already!" before I'm about ready to shoot the TV Elvis-style.

Well, in my opinion, if an actress leaves something on for more than say 60 seconds it's too long. :-)

Permit me, my friend, if you will, to reason that there is indeed a revolving, outspoken, fixed, and determined resolution that remains paramount with your New Year's agenda ..... to wit:
"the continued, laborious search for that mature site with women in lingerie slowly stripping from fully clothed to fully naked."
I rest my case.

I would argue that having it password encrypted makes it hidden, as you'd have to know the password to see it.

You are quite correct, my friend.
I had not extrapolated the question to cover comments on photosets.
To a lesser extent it does go on there, but that is the viewer rather than the people that are involved in creating the content.

But would someone still be able to reformat the drive without your True Crypt password?
(Sorry, but I just gotta up the paranoia ante--you can never be too careful!)

Well said messmer. That's the way I feel. I'm also a big fan of creampie scenes which ain't happening with condoms.

I don't really watch any Haley Paige scenes anymore, I'm not really sure why. Perhaps it is just the cirumstances of her death that matter as exotics said, I'd probably have a hard time watching anyone who was died of murder/suicide or an STD. Of course, I'm not really in the loop with the happenings of porn stars, so I probably wouldn't even know unless it were well publicized.

I think it was brought up a long time ago on the forum. I was a psychologist in LA back when it happened. She had been trying to start a career in sex therapy as a therapist. I didn't know her personally, but had several colleagues who knew her. Which is probably my answer to why her case may be different for me.

Don't know if it's the one you're thinking of, but it sounds similar to the one I'm going to list, Haley Paige. I wouldn't say she was ever a favorite, but I did usually download most or all of her scenes I could find. Was also still in California at the time so her death was more publicized. It was really messed up from what I remember. Haven't been able to watch her scenes since. I really don't know if the death was different, with different circumstances, if I would feel different and since most of the stars I would put in my favorites group are still alive.

It's the fast food mentality. Your hungry so you go to a fast food place where all the smells merge into one and where the time between when you order and when you finish eating is probably less than 20 minutes. Now there is nothing wrong per say with that but compare that to going to a restaurant where you sit a table, look at a menu and while looking at the men,u you get to see and smell some of the other patrons meals as they go by your table. You make a selection and you dinner partner does the same and you then wait for someone to prepare your meal. The waiting is important because your brain starts to think about the upcoming food which starts your mouth salivating and your gets your stomach ready to receive some energy in the form of delicious food. All the waiting and expectation make the arrival of the food that much more pleasing. I like fast food but I love eating in a real restaurant.

Ha - I suffer just the opposite - Reading puts me to sleep. Good friends gave me a Kindle for Christmas - a nice gift but I then re-gifted it to an avid reader who I knew would use it. Otherwise it would have sat on a shelf collecting dust. I didn't even open it up the box it was in.
Of course, late at night, listening to a book puts me to sleep too, but then it sort of is the purpose at that time of night.
