Abby Winters I've never been a member, as I don't like lesbianism, but I read a comment here that they are splitting their material into 3 sites. How do AW members feel about this? Is it just another money grab? | |

I have mixed emotions about this one. On one side, I'm not sad to see the Intimate Moments shoved to the side as I thought they were silly rubbish in the first place. Half the girls stayed fully clothed so all you got was this possibly cute girl with her hand down her panties rubbing her crotch and moaning. Sure, it looked real enough, but A: Perhaps she is a good actress. And B: The reason I pay for porn is so I can see stuff, hell, I get more of a rise out of the stuff Hollywood puts on the screen. Oh - and one more bit: The camera doesn't move because the girl is alone. So you better like the angle it starts at, because that is all your getting! And the two or three girl intimate moments, it's like a lesbian circle jerk. Circle Jerks aren't mocked because they are homosexual - they are mocked because they are bloody lame! Now, the other half of me sees a real value for money being lost and notices that Abby Winters damn well knows they are about to rape any new members. They wouldn't be putting those emails out if they didn't. I like the single girl site, but it isn't worth the big bucks if it doesn't have the girl/girl action as well. I love the attitude that Abby Winters as a site presents - yes, it is very hippy dippy but it is friendly. Fun. Happy. I like that, and if I had a bazillion bucks to spend I'd always have a subscription and sort of wander through it everyday like I do with my comics - it would be great, I could start my day off by reading Cow & Boy and then looking at happy, naked Aussie girl. The main problem Abby Winters has is part of the reason I like Abby Winters - they are all genuine, amateur, happy Aussie girls - which unfortunately means not a lot of them are beautiful. I mean Met Art style beautiful. The Abby girls are cute and lovely, but most of them wouldn't exactly turn my head if I walked past them on the street. Basically every damn girl on Met Art would have me walking into a sign post - they are other wordly beautiful. So that means that solo.abbywinters.com is really bust for me - I have to get the girl-girl site with it to make it worth while. Honestly, I don't see why they are making this change. Their biggest competitor, in my opinion, is Simon Scans - it is very similar but has much less model interaction (actually I'm not sure there is any interaction between models and users) - but it gives you the whole shebang; no splitting up or anything - all at $30. Frankly, in many ways Simon Scans is a better product - it is much more hardcore (or rude, as they like to say) has nearly as much lesbian content and often times, the photography is just a bit superior. It too features amateur girls, in this case from Britain and Ibiza. I can't say it has as much personality as Abby Winters though - it definitely feels more like a porn site; but a very very good one. So all in all, I think it is a bad idea. This split is going to move them into the market against some very stiff competition. Namely Sapphic Erotica comes to mind. The girls there are fabulously hot and the sex is much more varied than on Abby Winters. Sure, your not getting any illusion that these girls are boning their real-life girlfriends, but who cares - they are way hotter than most real-life girlfriends! These are not large women in sensible shoes - these are Russian waifs and Ukrainian beauties! Plus they are running higher res video already, and we bad-ass Porn Users that we are get the site at an extremely reasonable $20 a month. So my wishy washy feelings that I had when I started writing this are gone. I think this is plainly a bad idea. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" I know that AW is a very popular site, and even though I have not had membership there, I don't like it. I am a Met-Art fan though, and they have their splinter site, Met Models, which i did join, and to me was a redundancy. the only point to it I could see was $$$$$$$$. | |

ive joined 3 times so far. i loved the selection and natural cuties. but with 3 sites on their own it just doesnt seem worth it. there are some really hot lesbo scenes, then some bad ones. i loved the solo movies but they do get boring after a while. my fav in the intimate moments, and while they are genuine unlike most other site on the net, ive just about had enough of single purpose solo sites. for brand new members there may be enough content, but for annual (join once a year) members like me, i cant justify 3 different memberships for the content | |

Splitting up is always a bad idea to me. I would rather a site just section it self internally rather than break everything up and make us pay more. If I do not like a particular style that a site does a little bit of I would rather it be there and me just skip over it than have it not there at all. I hate that I had to pay more to get the better stuff here anyway. I definitely will not pay three times! I can't see the sense in breaking up the site. I was a member for a while but got bored with ALL of the contents (intimate moments, g/g, solo) quite quickly. At first I loved the naturalness of the models, such a refreshing difference from all the glamorous, made up, pouty barbies on other sites, but then found that I had the same problem except this time with more down to earth, natural models. There just wasn't enough diversity in the place. Now if she were to split the site up into Abby Winters Young and Abby Winters Mature (over her dead body most likely) I'd subscribe to the latter. I tried Abby Winters once and was disappointed. This was over a year ago, but I found the models too often tom-boyish and sometimes simply plain. They had tons of undies, which is a plus for me, but most of them had this strange, flannel-like, semi-masculine appearance to them that put me off. Also, too much pubic hair, and more freckles than the first two seasons of the Brady Bunch. I will say that what I've seen in TGPs lately has made me consider a re-join. I've seen some really killer pics. You know what I hate the most about selfish people? It's that they don't think enough about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! | |
