Discounts I tried searching the forum to see if this has come up, but couldn't find it. If you notice that when you close a window when previewing a site and a discount offer pops up, should we post this information on PU? Will the company take the discount away if we do this? This practice used to be very common, don't see it quite as much as I used to, but I still notice it every once in a while when tooling around. The only site that I've seen something like that happening on was Straponlesbian.com. There was a couple of ways of accessing it but the most common used to be that if you started to fill the info on the join page but before confirmeing you simply press the back button instead. Then you got a pop join page that offered the full membership but at 19$ instead of 30$. I mentioned it on thsi site and they didn't do anything about it so I say go ahead. If they see that they get more traffic and more customers then why would they stop it. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

It still happens quite a bit pat362, as Wittyguy does, I always back out of a site to see if they will offer a discount, and sometimes they do... the last place I saw this was at younglibertines. You're right; Strapon Lesbians offers a $19 monthly subscription if you go to their join page and then hit back--even without filling anything in. Not bad I say; an $11 discount just for hesitating and hitting your back button. The catch is it rebills at the normal $30 monthly rate at the end of the first 30 days. Clara G's site and Ass Titans both have a thing where you fill out info including your e-mail address before you see the page with the price - and if you don't complete the 2nd page to join, you'll get an e-mail with a lower price offer. But I only stayed the one month - updates aren't happening - but more than anything, the relationship between Clara G and her male partner - whatever the fuck's name is - felt like the porn equivalent of Ike and Tina Turner. I like the "Clara G" approach to offering a discount. It's a nice surprise in the email. Much better that those things that pop up and ask you these obscure questions about whether you want to "navigate away from the page" (the "OK" button, which means "leave") or "cancel," which by some strange quirk is supposed to be naturally understood to mean "stay here and wait for the next round of pop-up stuff." Those things are all over the place. Shitty communication can be very popular! But you know, I'm always thinking. Kinda guy I am, I guess. Which is why I'd suggest instead -- I mean, if they're going to do that "offer-on-exit" thing-- using a box that pops up and has this message: "How about a discount?" and two buttons, one that says "Yes" and another that says "No." I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. The biggest catch isn't the rebill anymore but that it's a dead site. They stopped updating last year. Some of the recent updates are scenes from their other sites. I like anal sex and I like lesbian sex so this was a great site. Not to mention that they had possible the only anal sex that some performers have ever done. My biggest issue with Pink Visual is that I don't think they are updating with a lot of newer material. Quite a few of the new scenes are actually older ones that have been given a facelift. I recently joined allrealitypass.com for $12.98 as opposed to the advertised price of $29.98. I read the join page and tried to leave the site and the discount offer popped up. They recently offered a discounted rate of $17.98 on TBP.....so I dont know if the popup offer is still available, but worth a try..
