Annoying upsell

For the past couple of weeks or so, Babelicious has added this thing in the upper right corner so that if you mouse up in its direction -- as you would for closing the window -- it displays a message about getting two minutes free, "a 11.99 value."

I don't know what it's two minutes of, but it sure sounds expensive, and I'm annoyed at having to remind myself to mouse around this thing or use ctrl-w to close the window.

Suggestion: Drop it.

jd1961 (95) I just checked it out----it's Flirt4Free. Do you know it generally costs more to chat with a webcam whore than it does to......never mind!

Hi Drooler.. Thanks for the feedback.
Sorry about the "annoying advert", I just wanted to show the fact that all Babelicious members get 2 minutes free "Live Chat" with the Flirt4Free models as clear as possible.

My intention was never to interfere with the browsing of the site, which obviously has for you and possibly others, so I have removed the said page peel advert right now.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback!

Thanks! I've just been back to Babelicious and to the browsing experience that I know and love.

My only regret is that I doubt I could have the same, immediate effect on GEICO!

If you don't know what Geico is, all I can say is: Lucky you!

It's an insurance company with a huge ad and marketing campaign. Ads on TV with "cavemen," talking geckos, etc. etc. And my mailbox at home has received countless promotional offers, every single one of which go immediately into the bin for paper recycling. It's all very obnoxious. But this is in the US.

I have to remind myself that this is an international site, being on the WWW and all. Sorry about that.

Ahhh... yeah we dont have that in the UK (Yet!) but we did have a crazy ad campaign not so long ago that drove all us Brits mad. It was for a mobile phone ring tune would you believe, called Crazy Frog. I swear the adverts would come on every 15mins on our regular channels. I ended up not watching TV for a while, it was that bad lol

Well thanks again for giving me your input, speak again soon :D
