247skizia (5) I have in the past. I think I am a very visual person, so I tend to like to see the girls.

nadiencendia (83) I am quite fond of The Erotic Mind Control Story Archive. It's an erotice fiction site focused on mind control and hypnosis, updated weekly with stories posted by users. It's difficult to find erotic hypnosis stuff anywhere online (I only know a couple of sites, Hypnogirls and Hypnotrick, and neither of them is any good), so these stories are a good substitute for real action...

Capn (28) Not really. If I come across the odd hot short story I might. Like Skizia though I am more of a visual person. ;0)

Denner (235) Never - not since the teens.
Funny though: I remember some 'survey' where it was suggested, that women - generally - prefer erotic in the written word - instead of pix and vids

I really wish there was a decent hypnosis/mind control site. I agree that the stories are usually much better than anything that's currently on adult sites.

Back when Usenet was all that, I used to spend a lot of time on ASSM (Alt.Sex.Stories.Moderated) and RAE (Rec.Arts.Erotica). Some of the stuff was of the nasty CP variety, but there was a lot of quality, too. The best stuff is archived on the web, so I still visit assm.asstr.org occasionally.

Writing decent erotic stories is a lot harder than it looks. Back when I was a know-nothing, no-money teen, my primary source of porn was stuff I wrote myself involving my more attractive classmates, and it was the beginning of my fascination with girl/girl sex. I still, uh, enjoy, creating scenarios in my head involving my favourite models.

I don't go out of my way to read much anymore, though. These days, what I really like are porn scenes and photo sets that have a little story behind them. Viv Thomas is an example of a studio that strikes a good balance by not only having hot action, but establishing a relationship between the characters.

pat362 (373) I used to read those quite often but I haven't so much in the last year. I used to visit one or 2 sites that had free stories but one went the route of pay to see and the other almost never updated.

Thanks, Sevrin, it's nice to know that somebody else around here shares my like for erotic hypnosis. Not to blow my own horn, but I wrote a few stories for the Erotic Mind Control Story Archive myself: http://mcstories.com/Authors/nadiencendia.html It was good fun!

Thanks for the link. I liked the Eve's Spell one a lot. Looks like there's a fair bit there to hold my interest. :)

messmer (137) If you think in "pictures" and not in words then reading is an unmitigated joy. When I read a story it's like going to a movie, that's why I visit, on a regular basis, sites like asstr, literotica, and the Erotic Mind Control Stories archive. There is a lot of immature, illiterate garbage to sift through but there's also some highly erotic, well written stuff that can compete any time with movies and pictures if one is a voracious reader to start out with and someone whose mind has the capacity to "see" the story.

RustyJ (145) Very rarely. I remember even Penthouse published a magazine with nothing but stories in 80's-90's.

Goldfish (67) I used to read some of the mcstories.com stuff years ago. I also read the Penthouse Forum even further back. These days I'm pretty much 100% visual media.

dracken (246) Way back when images weren't as popular, alas with the new high speed internet, there is no reason to stick to stories, when you can have a video.

I read it when I am not writing it...It would be fun to find movie/porn writing partners here. Maybe with some female talent?

pornwatcher (3) Yes, very much so. I find it much more exciting and less boring since it forces you to use your imagination. So, unlike pictures, reading porn stories gives you a different impression every time you read them.

BadMrFrosty (56) I'm a very visual person so I dont find erotic fiction that erotic. I guess some could say I lack imagination but thats the way it is :)

nostromo (12) Depends on what you consider erotic literature. There are many passages in the works of Philip Roth or Milan Kundera -for instance, there are countless others amongst the masters- that are incredibly erotic. But very few people would consider them erotic writers.

lk2fireone (196) I read it back in the 1970s (and 1980s, maybe), before there was the Internet. But I stopped reading it in the 1980s, and then the Internet came along, with photos, and then later still, videos.
