I first joined Digital Desire (the former name of his site) in 2002. It was one of the first sites I found in those days with a really professional approach to nude photography, and a signature style that you could identify just by how the photos were done. You knew it was by Hicks without having to look for his name.
Dying at age 58 is way too early, and it was not expected. I wonder how it happened.
It is certainly a great loss to many.

If I don't see anything other than warm smiles, that's enough for me. Still, I don't mind some clowning around for the same reason as others have given: That you get more of the models personality coming through. And that's fine as long as it doesn't involve smearing food or paint or other substances all over themselves or others.

Holly Randall has good content, but for me it hasn't had the same draw as MetArt. Hopefully, this affiliation will give the Holly Randall content a boost. Two things would help in the process. One is to make sure that the HR site (or sites) are as web-friendly as the MetArt sites are. Just look at the difference between them. MetArt has a nice, subdued visual approach, whereas the Holly Randall site is garish and cluttered. They clearly speak in two very different visual languages.
The second is to make the approach to the photography, especially the types of poses, more consistently like MetArt's as well.

I haven't seen any toys atMetArt either, which is why I like, too. And they've wisely decided to satisfy those who crave the toy insertions (human and otherwise) by creating the sister site SexArt, leaving MetArt free of the phallic probes.
So if FemJoy were to go that route and come up with a "ToyJoy," that would be fine with me. I mean, doesn't the world need yet another? ;)

I've been a FemJoy member a few times, and they've done a lot to improve the site, but your suggestion is actually the next thing they need to do. 1200 pixels just doesn't cut it anymore, and 2000 would do it fine, along with larger option, which is most often 4000 px, though it can get up to 5500 px once in a while.

You know, I really hate to be disagreeable, but I think adding toys to FemJoy would be a very, very bad idea. There are PLENTY of, as in MUCHO, to say nothing of BEAUCOUP de places in Pornland for toy lovers to get their kicks. Some of us are different in that way, and I'm one of them.
I hate toys!!! I remember when Nubiles started adding toy play. It RUINED the site as far as I'm concerned.
There have to be sites where toys are simply OUT. Please understand.

I think it's a bit funny how cheating is so often defined by physical contact. I once fell in love with a woman while I was already married, and she with me. It was about the time that she had just gotten married to someone I knew that she found a private moment to talk to me, and we confessed our love to each other.
And that was it. We never got further than brief hand-holding and rarely saw each other since that time, and then only with a spouse present. We'd gone on with our choices, if not completely with our hearts.
But was any of this cheating? Not even a little bit?

Yes, it might be "sunset time" for the site, who knows? But it might just sit around and collect "bonus bucks" for itself now that it has a good volume of material.
That also seems to be the case with MattsModels. I took a peek at that one yesterday and it hasn't updated since 2011, but it's still up.

I joined Muse once, too. Amused I was not. It was a one-month subscription, but it might as well have been a 1-hour deal. Updates were few and far between, and the site was just too "artsy" for me anyway.
I got very little from it, so I wasted about as much money as I would have spent on a couple of lunch platters.

It can be an issue with videos sometimes. I have to ask myself whether the 1980x size is going to be worth the space it consumes. I have more hard drive space now than I ever have before, but it's always finite and I don't like having excess that I could do without.
After all, I will run out eventually and buy another hard drive ...
