PinkPanther reported in a comment he posted last month than a goodly number of the 40 sites have stopped updating. That kinda takes a little of the edge off the "loyalty deal" even though the price is still terrific.
The reason I raise this point is that so many of the big sites are slipping badly on updates and/or content lately that when it happens on sites like 21 Sextury sites, I get a bit concerned.

I was damned lucky. I tried to buy 1 year on Twistys and screwed up my credit card number so it didn't go through, so I tried to sign up for a single month. Got the same pitch for the premium service and discovered what that meant. I bit and paid the extra, but just for one month, then canceled.
The download restriction really sucks and should be highlighted in the PU/TBP listings whenever it exists.

I'm still in the site, but not by choice. The damned thing renewed me at their ridiculously high rate.
I spent some time last night trying to fight my way through the "garbage dump" structure, as you so aptly called it, to see if I was missing something that would help identify the babes and/or the scene. No luck but I did stumble on one video that was barely average in quality but was a great performance by one of my faves. But I'll be damned if I can find it again today.
My bottom line is that this site needs adult supervision and a user friendly structure.
There are so many site that are cheaper and much better out there I see no reason to remain a member and will keep trying to cancel my mambership.

Too bad they don't read PU.
Just signed up this weekend and the problems described two years ago and in this review are the same. A pity because I've stumbled into some really great stuff and some great resolution videos...and some total shit as well.
This site, with some professional website help, could be superb. Hopefully they will learn how to merge functionality with their hidden quality.
A score of 70 is very fair but with structure it could be a 90.

Good comments. What they demonstrate is how a great site can lose a lot of credbility by how its webmaster addresses issues on this site.
I've had my eye on this one for a while but it's pricey.
It boils down to an issue with the administrator (webmaster) of the site and not the site itself. Thanks Mastobeam. I'll put it back on my "sites to consider" list because your comments tell me it has much of what I want on it.

Interesting response to a new subscriber who, I would assume, he's want to retain as a long term customer. But he publicly argues with him and uses excuses, not explanations.
Worse, there's a second complaint filed over a month later that raises serious issues with the accuracy of the advertising and the terms of use where damon21 remains totally silent over the last three months.
My interest in checking this site out has diminished to about zero.
One more matter. The one and only review of this site was written by someone who has posted only that review and has not contributed anything at all beyond the review.
I suspect we might find that the author of the review (recreation) and the webmaster are one and the same.

Ditto that. I trust only Epoch and CCBill. SegPay is totally unreliable and makes it easy to say no to signing up for a new site membership.

I'm curious. Now that the site is back up on PU, can we assume that whatever they were doing that caused you to "de-list" the site have stopped and they are now playing it straight?
I'm a bit leery about trying again, but at the special price and with PU/TBP's restored listing, I may just go ahead and try it for a month.

It would be interesting to know what it was that generated your decision in this case, but it's not important enough to create a possible legal or other issue for PU/TBP.
What would be useful, though, is a listing of all sites that are on your suspended list. Another interesting, but not essential list would be a summary of the criteria that can result in a site joining the list.

Agree completely with this review.
Normally I would stick around at $10 a month just in case a good video pops up, but the frustration trying just to download one video convinced me that life is too short to bother with porn.com.

Thanks for adding your comments. This review plus your clear interest in customer satisfaction and the discount all prompted me to sign up. It's been less than a day but, in general, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
I will take advantage of your offer to be contacted privately with my comments and observations as I get more familiar with the site but the one thing mentioned in the original review that could use some work is the identification of the talent, both in the videos and especially in the scenes.
The site has an excellent variety of material that I'm very happy to have access to in a digital format to the point that I can start weeding out some of my old VHS tapes.

Update.
After my posts on PU and my email communications from the webmaster last week, I thought we were good to go.
In his last email to me on Friday, 3/27 in response to the premature shutdown of my trial membership, he said, "...what will make you happy? do you want another day of access? or do you need to know customer support will get back to you?"
Because I consider responsive customer service very important for any sites I join, I responded with an email that said, simply, that I needed to know that customer support will get back to me.
I told him that, if he would give me that assurance, I would be signing up immediately because I really like the site.
Today, four days later, i have received no reply at all.
This tells me, simply, that, with this site, "you pays your money, you takes your chances." Unless and until I get some assurance that I can count on a full month of access for a full month membership fee, whicch seems unlikely with PornstarXS, they won't see my money.

Update.
As I summarized in my PU comment, after I posted my issue on PU, I received a response from the Webmaster who offered to set me up with a temporary logon so I would get the full deal.
The temporary logon was more temporary than promised; it shut down before the promised expiry.
Although the webmaster says that we should contact him if we have any problems, neither he nor the site's customer service staff have responded at all.
The site is excellent with a lot of content not available elsewhere. But if one cannot access the site with a paid subscription, what's the point?
Shame. I like the site a lot and would be signing up for a full membership for sure if I had any confidence at all that they would provide basic support on a timely basis when things go wrong. But I don't have any confidence at all.

OK, so the last chapter has been written.
Yes I was issued a temporary logon id and password as the webmaster promised, and it worked fine...for a while. Then the same thing. Access denied.
And emails to them continue to go unanswered.
It's a shame because, as I've said, I really like the site, but not enough to go through the hassle of trying to get some response, any response, from them when I get prematurely shut down.
Hopefully they'll get their customer service act together. If they do they'll definitely be in the competitive mix with their counterparts on the web.

OK, still up and accessible 24 hours later so the access shut down must have been an isolated glitch.
So far I've run into a few dead links and the older videos are broken into segments instead of a single run, but so far I'm really liking this site based on 2 days into the trial.
It's a video site, no photos, so you photo guys will need to go elsewhere. Many of the videos are available on VideoBox, XMovies and other main stream video sites. But there's also a whole bunch of content that I have not seen on any other site, which is what really has me interested.
I'll be signing up for a full month membership and will write a real review after I've given the site a full stress test.

About an hour after I did what the Webmaster suggested I got an email back with an acknowledgment that my paid trial was in fact not working. He provided me with a temporary username/password that got me back up and running so now I'll be getting the full 48 hour trial.
Interestingly I got action from the site by posting my problem on Porn Users (this comment and a reply to the latest review). I got no action at all from my emails to the site's webmaster or customer service.
Bottom line based on my experience, so far, is if you sign up for PornstarXS, be sure to post any problems on Porn Users if you want to get the problems resolved. Don't wait for any response from Customer Service.
Now that I'm back on the site as a member, I'm still positive about the content of the site and may take a shot at signing up for a full month or more.

In his response above, the Webmaster said, "anyone reading this disgruntled review - it's simple, sign up for a trial and try it for yourself."
OK. I did. I signed up for the trial so I could try it for myself. I was very favorably impressed with the site, with the content and especially with the navigation, and I felt that I found a site I could stay with for a long time.
That's the good news.
The bad news is that about 24 hours or so into the 2 day trial I could no longer access the site. Instead I received a message that my membership had expired. I sent emails to cs@pornstarXS.com, to webmaster@pornstarXS.com and to Epoch billing support to see what was up.
I got an immediate reply from Epoch advising me that my account was still active and in good order. They suggested I contact the site's customer support for help.
After giving the site more time to reply, I sent a follow-up. Still no answer so I canceled my membership in order to prevent Epoch renewing my membership at the full monthly rate.
As of this writing I have received absolutely no communication at all from anyone at PornstarXS.com.
Frankly I really liked the site so I'm very disappointed that the site has chosen to not be responsive to its customers.
Bottom line, if you are interested in this site, definitely choose the 2 day trial first. That way you're out only $4 if they deny you access instead of $25 for a full month. (The $4 is worth it because the site has a lot of content that I couldn't find on other sites such as VideoBox and, when I had access, the download speeds were very satisfactory and every download I tried were completed without any difficulty.)

Great review. I say that because I'm virtually in agreement with everything marcdc1 says especially in his bottom line.
His signoff recommendation to check for favorites before getting a membership is spot on. There are so many of my favorites in their data base that have just one or two videos and are never updated.
Reliably excellent photography in most cases but I agree that there are too many slam bam thank you m'am scenes with no imagination.

Looks like Dev8 has stopped updating all of their sites, not just Prime Cups. Rather strange because they have among the best in the biz.
Damned shame. But hopefully someone will realize that they can still make a ton of revenue if they offer the sites at a lower price and/or create a network to combine some or all of their sites.

I agree completely.
I am about to spring $30 (USD) for a month of Prime Cups and went in to the public site just to see if anything has changed. I tested the super HD (1920) test run that used up 15.8 mb for about 25 seconds...and although the picture was crisp and nice, the 960 version of the test was virtually the same on my screen, yet it used "only" 5.6 mb (65% less). Then I tried the 640 version and it came in at a paltry 3.0 mb. And it was damned good as well.
The difference, to me, isn't sufficiently large enough to warrant the lost hard drive space. (After all, only a breast research doctor or a gynecologist may need better definition than you get with 640, IMO.)
I plan to sign up and do a full drain of the pre-identified "good stuff" on the site (anyone can get a full index of all Dev8 stuff at Indexxxed.com . so I've already D/L'd the trailers for each and every video on that site and know which scenes I'll want to D/L once I've signed up.)
By the way, I sent an email to Dev8 asking if there was any less expensive way to access all their stuff like a network pass or something. They referred me to their site called More Gonzo. That site has an inventory of 120 videos from 6 of their 10 sites, total. As they add a new (to this site) video they remove an old one. At any given time they will have 20 older videos from each of their six big and established sites...but nothing from their newer sites, PurePOV, Fist Flush, Milf Thing and FistFlush.
With daily updates (except Sunday), then, one can, with proper planning, drain off 144 videos (the 120 on the sight at signup date and 24 daily updates) in a month and then quit...or just stay enrolled and, if they play it straight, eventually get access to most of their overall inventory.
More Gonzo is probably a good site for a starter to see what the full videos are like in the 6 sites covered (the trial provides access to very short videos so you'll never see an entire video without signing up for a full month)
