You make a good point: why would anyone but a porn collector subscribe to a site? Otherwise, the pirate sites will get the job done. I wonder what motivated Mofos to go this route? I suspect that their business will drop substantially because of this. The worst of it is that it doesn't appear that the site is being very open about this major change and so they're likely to snag some members who are unaware of the change. if it weren't for you pointing this out I may have signed up again and I would be pissed to find it was streaming only.
Others have pointed out that you can buy software that will capture streaming video but I joined a site a couple of years ago not knowing that it was streaming only and my software wouldn't capture the videos even though it does with most streaming. That site wasn't open about being streaming-only either and when I posted that information here at PU I had a nasty email from the site owner threatening to sue me for telling the truth. It wasn't like I needed an additional reason to never go back to that site but he sure gave me one.

I have to confess that like others here I figured blueron had made a mistake. Maybe there was a problem with a cookie that could be solved by clearing his history or some other simple fix. It simply didn't occur to me that this could be accurate. So Holy Crap this is bad news. I've joined Mofos many times over the past few years but I think it's safe to say that with this news I won't be joining again.
I have no idea how Mindgeek plans to keep the site going with only streaming. Yes, I realize that there is lots of software available to capture a streaming video but for the company to just stop downloads is a big deal.
But here's a thought: maybe we're a lot different from the usual member. I think it's fair to say that most of us here are porn collectors rather than just porn users. A porn user may be just looking for a quick release whereas a porn collector may be compiling scenes with a certain theme or model. Streaming may be okay for a porn user, but as a porn collector I want to download it and keep it in my collection.
I'll be watching to see if other Mindgeek sites have done this too. (And I should add that until I know for sure there is virtually no chance that I'll join any Mindgeek sites since they really haven't been all that open about this huge change.)

Great review. Welcome to this site. I think you'll find that things seem a bit slow around here but that's partly due to the owners preparing for a major re-work soon. But there still are a group who add reviews and participate in forum topics and I hope that you stick around and do that too.

Thanks for posting this review.
I had a membership here a few months ago and really liked it, but I didn't seem to have the technical problems that you had so that would certainly have changed how I rated the site.
Subjectively I liked the network but it did have flaws. I liked Real Slut Party, but then I like sites like that, and I found Pervs on Patrol fun to watch even though it's obviously staged.
It's too bad that you had technical problems.
As for your comments on the bad camera work, I figured that some of that might be on purpose as they were going for a certain feel. But I could have just been too generous too.

Trust me, my friend... I don't need you to warn me away from here! I know my preferences and while I can accept anyone's (legal) preferences I don't necessarily share them. But that's one of the many things that makes PU so unique.

I like to think I have some broad interests too, but I really don't. Yes, I discovered than in some cases I can appreciate tattoos and piercings, but then I realized those tattoos and piercing are on petite young models. I guess I'll just have to live with my afflictions!

I wonder why so many videos were dumped? I re-read my own review and I would have taken an accurate count of the videos on the site and provided information on the update schedule so with simple math anyone could see that they got rid of a lot of stuff. I really don't understand why. I wonder if some of the rituals depicted in the videos (whether there was any realism to them or not) caused some pressure from the Mormons. That seems unlikely since someone would have to admit to watching porn...

Wow! This site looks great. I don't know how I missed the review that A.K. posted at TBP a while back. This site has a lot of what I like: redheads and a bit of the creepy factor to name a couple. I'll definitely be joining this site soon.

My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours - I grew up when porn was taboo so seeing a breast in a movie was a big deal. Obviously these days I can see pretty much anything I want any time I want to see it. I think if I were to join this site I'd get bored pretty quick. Adding to this is the fact that I simply don't buy into the whole celebrity culture.

I figure that the new NA business model may be to fleece as many people as they can until the whole thing collapses and then they'll just shut it down. I'm being only slightly sarcastic here... Surely no one who has read anything about their new subscription model would even consider joining now. One downside that I can think of is that someone who has been into pirated porn finally decides to do the right thing and pay for it, joins this shitshow and figures every porn site is as much of a scam.
I had been a fan of and regular subscriber to NA for a long time but unless this gets reversed I won't be back.
On a positive note, this is a good example of the value of PornUsers - we're able to spread the word about scams like this.

Thanks for the comments. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that a lot of Nude-in-Public sites seem to drop the ball when it comes to making the material hot. There are sites that do manage it, so at least some people can figure it out.

My guess was that NA would collapse under the sheer stupidity of this new billing practice by now. But apparently they think they can fleece more people. Thanks for posting this cautionary tale.
I second standards motion that PU staff please do deactivate any of the Naughty America pages here. Yes, they are a company that none of us should do business with these days, but the best way to communicate that is to keep these pages up. I understand that a lot of new people have joined PU recently and this might help some of them understand how great PU/TBP is and how they can contribute to make it even better. I'm sure all of us prefer to see great reviews of great sites, but it's important that we can still write great reviews of sites we should all avoid (at least until they see the light and end this nonsense.)

I'm not sure if there is a way to bump up the quality, but I'm reasonably sure you could likely improve it a bit. My recommendation is to post a thread in the forum. You're likely to get some good answers there.

I'm not familiar with her at all but I did check out two of her scenes just now. She is really hot and sort of reminds me of Veronica Jett, a long-time favorite of mine. I agree that her eyes are captivating. Unfortunately the best available resolution is pretty low, but I'll keep the scenes anyway. Thanks for the tip!

Like you, I have a lot of favorite models who were in the business years ago before video quality was as good as it is now so I'm used to suffering through poor quality too. But if the alternative is deleting the lower-res stuff with the models I like, I'll live with what I have, which is probably what you do too.
