Brazzers has scam billing practices

I have subscribed a number of times over several years. I recently tried to re-subscribe and the sign-up page would not work. I received an error screen that the processor could not accept my request. I tried the online chat. The rep couldn't explain the problem but said I could give him my card number and he would sign me up with instant access. He took my card and billed my account. When I tried to login I got an unauthorized attempt screen with no access. Back to the chat. The new rep says there's no problem but there certainly is a problem because my password wouldn't work and still doesn't. I asked for my money back and the rep said no refunds and that there's nothing they can do. He then terminated the chat session. Complete frauds. If Brazzers denies this occurred, I saved the text of the two chat sessions and I can post them here.

gaypornolover (38) Sounds very dodgy - I'd be a little concerned that the chat rep has your card details - it may be worth discussing this with your card issuer - I would think perhaps your card should be blocked and maybe get a new one in case of fraud. Keep a very close eye on your account for unauthorised transactions.

I would agree. Sounds very dodgy. I would be cancelling my card unless a further proper conversation with Brazzers doesn't result in
a) membership and
b) general goodness.

hodayathink (18) I think they have a customer service number you can call into. Yup, found it: http://www.brazzerssupport.com/

I'd call it and if the first person can't help you, ask to talk to a manager. That no refunds line is bullshit, especially if your login isn't working. And if all else fails, call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

Thanks for the suggestion hodayathink. Calling them on the telephone and listening to more of their BS is probably just a waste of more time. I told them in writing in the online chat that they were basically stealing my money and they didn't care so telling them again by telephone seems redundant, but I will take the other route you mention and notify my credit card company that the charge is a scam.

I've found that, in general, it's much harder for someone to screw you over when they actually have to hear your voice when they do it (and even harder if they have to do it to your face). It's why whenever I have customer service issues, I always try to handle them in person or over the phone as opposed to through writing, and that has worked much more often than it hasn't.
