Update to my Review

Joined again last month. Not worth a complete review but need to report a couple of things: FIRST: the site is still very slow...can still only download clips (10-15 per 90min vid) one at a time - you can't even browse the site whilst downloading.

SECOND: you now have to constantly re-login, every 20 minutes or so - WHY ? !!! It has become a real chore to download stuff from here and I have told them I won't be re-joining.

THIRD: the rate of updates has reduced. It used to be 2 full vids per week - not great I know - but now they've taken to uploading 2 Half-movies per week - sneeky !

FOURTH: quality - despite many HiDef sites out there - has not improved - 2000kbps may have been "good" a couple of years ago, but it's pretty mediocre by today's standards.

CONCLUSION: Hey Seventeen Corporation...you'll have to get up early to get one over on OneMan....very early ! Smarten up your site or you will lose custom - there is a lot of decent competition out there !

 slutty (109) Just wanted to note that I can browse while downloading, and I have been able to download reasonably fast (400KB/s), while nowhere near maxing out my 7mbps connection, it isn't that bad.

Most of your other notes appear to still apply, however.

Well maybe things have improved a little !

I found that it was possible to browse and download multiple files, only if they were the med/high versions of video. If I was downloading a "Full" quality clip, I couldn't browse the site, as I was then limited to one connection !

Biggest pain of course, is that the 90 minute video is split into 12-15 parts !!!

And, you have to keep logging in every 30 minutes.......And, they are now only updating 1/2 of one video at a time, some one and a half videos per week, instead of 3. Shocking !

Of course, the main problem with "Seventeen", is that it is the euro-equivalent of Hustler in the States.....it has a massive market for DVD and now Blu-Ray disks......so at 30 euros a pop for one DVD, why would they give away their entire collection at high quality, for $20 per month ?

I'd say they have improved a little. I can download the full scene and browse at the same time, can't do more than 2 downloads at once however.

The re-logging is an issue plagues a lot of sites these days, i'm not sure why. And the scene split up / no model search is really irritating.

Just to be clear, I'm referring to those more recent videos that have 3 formats.... LOW / HIGH / FULL......where FULL is the 3000kbps version.

I can only download 1 clip at a time and cannot browse at the same time. If, however, I am downloading an older video, at just HIGH......I can then, and only then, browse the site or download multiple clips.

Bottom line: combined with having to re-login every 20 minutes, you have to "babysit" the whole thing, and within a couple of days, I've had enough of it !!!

I should have updated. Most of the time when I tried "Full" it didn't work either. I gave up because the organization was too frustrating.
