Has Private Online Changed?

Has this site changed from being nothing more than an advertisement for their over priced DVD's? I notice there is still no downloading allowed (unless you consider the installation of spyware on your computer "downloading"). Last time I was there they offered very little except ways to purchase their merchandise.

Denner (235) VERY interesting comment from jd.
From time to time I've been tempted by this site (they seem to have some exclusive Silvia Saint).
But it has always seemed somewhat "suspect" to me - and I have never checked it out seriously. (Origin states Spain, but that's an old, quite old Swedish company).
And this info from jd about having to install some kind of spyware to be able to download - EVEN - DRM protected videos is simply out of line.
Does that mean you pay 20 and still NOT get allround access to the DRM video-files, less you say yes to the spyware hassle?
If thats so, glad I haven't joined.

I'm sorry I should make this clear---I consider DRM to be spyware. That is when you play one of those videos, the DRM is being used to restrict individuals' use of their own copies of published works. To enforce these restrictions, DRM software must monitor and control a computer users' behavior. Frequently it reports on what it sees. That's by definition spyware. This is why these sites must be boycotted, given an automatic 20 points off in reviews, and brought to the attention of everyone. These sites must be made to suffer financially, even to the point of ruin. This site, Private, which produces quality porn, has for years overcharged on their product. They were one of the first companies to go online. But they do not deliver for the money. Imagine going to a bookstore and buying a book and taking it home to read it. But to open it, you must call the bookstore, and get their permission!

JBDICK (20) Spot On jd1961, I agree with you.

Read my review if you wish. I feel totally ripped off having joined the site, and you are right, after finding some DVDs that looked interesting, I clicked on them only to find that I was redirected to their shop where I could spend more money on their merchandise if I'm stupid enough. The sad reality is that they do have the best girls on the Net, I guess their Boardroom & share holders have stopped loving Porn and are only interested in fleecing their members. I can't believe I'm reading rave reviews for the quality of their site content.
