Okay, so GodsGirls.com has a Members tab, and if you click on it, you can browse through all the members on the site. If you do the math, there are 2,220 members on this site. Now, assuming that each member is paying $19.95 per month, this gives the site a gross sale number just above $40,000 per month. Obviously, they're surviving, as they've been around for almost 8 years now. But after operating expenses, bandwidth, advertising, attorney fees, etc.. Can those numbers be right? Just seems to me that $44k per month isn't enough for a social networking adult site to survive. Thoughts? | |

Just read a previous post regarding buying individual photosets and/or videos for a fixed price, rather than a monthly fee.. Has anyone ever purchased anything from mygirlfund.com? I get what this website is trying to sell, I just don't really see why a guy would want to buy it. The pics and vids, sure. But, does anyone really buy from this site to "contribute" to the girl or her future? Thoughts? | |

Has anyone heard of Zivity.com? I'm not sure what to make of it. They pass themselves off as more a modeling website, but with many of the models nude. Plus, you have to pay a monthly fee to get in. What's interesting is that they accept PayPay as a form of payment, which is something PayPal doesn't allow on a "porn" site. Plus, the models don't even get paid unless member "vote" for them. Sounds like a great idea for starting a nude site if you have no investment money (LOL)... other than that... Thoughts?... | |

I remember reading an article on the internet a while back about Perfect 10, and how they were suing Google, as well as various websites, for "illegally" displaying their images... But, what got on my nerves, was that the article referred to Perfect 10 as an online "pornographer". What does everyone else think about this? As far as I'm concerned, websites like Perfect 10, Gods Girls, Suicide Girls, MetArt, etc aren't exactly my definition of "porn". That's like calling Playboy a "porn" magazine. If there's no sex, simulated sex, insertions, masturbation or over-the-top spread-eagle shots, then I don't think it should be called porn. Thoughts? | |

Has anyone here ever started a porn site before? And by "porn site", I really mean anything from a site with your own made content, to a "fan site", to even something like nngalleries.com (third-party content).. And if so, did you have much luck? I think obsessedwithmyself.com is an interesting concept, and thought it would be fun to try something like it. Not really to make a ton of money, more because collecting/accepting pics of hot naked girls is just fun. | |

I was browsing though XTube earlier, and while I wasn't really impressed with much of the content, I did notice that a lot of their content is pay-per-view, or video-on-demand. I remember reading something about it on ABC News, about Do-It-Yourself amateurs selling their own vids.. what are you guys thoughts on this? Would you pay to view a single video, if it were say, $0.50 - $1.00 to view it for 48 hours, 72 hours, etc? I haven't seen a lot of sites that utilize this payment method, is it because there's no market for it? | |

obsessedwithmyself.com claims that they use pics from "hacked" myspace accounts, they even have a link at the bottom of their website titled "Delete my GF"... I would imagine this isn't legal, how would they know if the girls are of legal age?... anyone know if it's just marketing BS? I also noticed that pornusers.com doesn't associate themselves with obsessedwithmyself.com.. thoughts? | |

Okay, maybe this is a stupid question. But, I really would like to know... Where do all of these porn sites manage to find so many hot girls? Especially the teen sites, where the girls really do look 18, in some cases younger... Classifieds? Forums? Convensions?... All of the above?... There are just so many of them, and they're all so hot.. | |
