Pros: A massive site with decades of content Attractive, girl next door models who sometimes become pro models Excellent video and image download options Bigger than most networks Mostly solo content Easy to use and intuitive site Perceived innocence lost premise to some scenes Cons: The price and fact there is a sister site you don't have access to could put some off Bottom Line: FTV Girls is based on amateur women being filmed for the first time, hence, FTV for First Time Video. I have to think the likelihood of a pretty female never being filmed before has greatly reduced these days with smartphones and their video recording capability. But that's not something to gripe about. This site stands out about as much as a solo site can. The women are what I would call, “everyday dressed” when the scenes and images start. I do not even think us porn fans notice how many models are dressed for a porn shoot. One look through FTV and the scenes look like a portfolio for a shopping center, not a porn site. There are no download limits and the videos are downloadable in great quality, even the older and much older scenes are still a watchable quality. The images are some of my favourites. It is possible the use of normal, everyday clothing makes the pictures look even better. You will not have a problem finding models you like. If you are like me, you will have a bigger problem finding models to skip over. I return to the shooting style and use of everyday situations and settings as a factor. Anytime I see a model outside or in a store in their preview, I have to check it out to see what's going on in the scene. The site works okay at first, but after getting used to their search icons, I can say it has one of the most effective and useful navigational systems I have seen. You will appreciate the search icons when looking for a specific action or setting. Otherwise, you will be spending quite a bit of time scrolling through pages of models and updates – with at least one or two, catching your attention and making you forget what you were searching for in the first place. My one listed con is more than likely a sign of the times more than a con. You do only receive access to FTV Girls. There is also a FTV MILFs which is very similar in style, format and shooting style but you have to pay to access it. I have joined FTV Girls 4 times in the last couple years and each time was able to get a week access to FTV MILFs as a “trial” when signing up to FTV Girls, not to slight FTV MILFs, but a week has been enough for me to keep up with the site. FTV Girls would be recommended for anyone who is not put off by the majority of the content being solo. I do not see anything else as a negative or potential negative. This is one of the biggest collections of amateur models I know of. The content often goes beyond just masturbation. There are many fetishes and niches covered on the site. The first time I joined it, I was shocked by how hardcore some of the solo scenes are. FTV even has their own special sex toy for the more daring models to try. For me it's a must join site multiple times a year and there's no reason to believe that is going to change. Since then, it has grown tremendously. However, the site has not kept up with the growth. Everything is a little too disorganized and lists are everywhere (updates list, models list, etc). The site really needs a good search engine so that it is easier to find the specific niche that one is looking for. I used to order from them every now and then and delivery was really slow, but reliable. On average it took 3-4 weeks before delivery. Late last year I placed an order from them after they outsourced the DVD business to DVDHotties. I got a shipment confirmation within a few days but it took nearly 4 weeks for the discs to be delivered and one of them had the wrong content burned onto it. AFAIK, this is the highest resolution available for porn on the net. And, the resultant image is almost like being there... :) Mind you, this does come at a cost. For instance, the third video release totals a little over 79 minutes in length but is 4,563 MB in size. I understand the site owner's decision not to go with a full HD resolution (1920x1080). Wide screen monitors (24" or larger) aren't ubiquitous. I'd be interested to learn of the viewing experience of users with 22" monitors (1680x1050) or CRT monitors at 1600x1200. Should this new format prove, for some reason, to be problematic, users can still get DIVX videos at 352x256 with a bit rate of 64kbs and WMV videos at 720x480 (widescreen) with a bit rate of 3155kbs. Wow! This site is far better than I expected (I've had plenty of lousy experiences, as I'm sure many others have had). After spending a few weeks on the site I'm literally overwhelmed. It's way too soon for me to write a full review on FTV but so far I can't see any way I'll give it less than a 90. At $1.00 per day to start (and a 5 month deal at 67 cents per day) I suspect I'll be signing up for the long-term plan just to get through some of the material in which I know I have an interest. So far the big pluses are the quality of the videos (even the old scenes that are on DivX only) and the length of each set of scenes. They are going HD later this year so it's only getting better. The minuses, for me, are the fact that they do not permit a download of an entire "episode" but require multiple downloads (a minor annoyance) and rather small and modest quality photos of most of the babes (again a minor annoyance because I'm in it for the video). Download speeds are slow, but not terrible. As should be known by all who spend anytime doing front end research, there's no hard-core sex, but the goings on should provide any guy with a heartbeat a lot of woodies...per episode. So far all I can say is that this is an amazing site!
