I think Monsieur Root thinks of himself as an "artiste". For porno, the camera work and direction is not proper to the genre. It seems that every view of the "action" is limited to 2 or 3 seconds before you get a cut or edit to something else---very often a close up of a stunt cock's face. I feel like I'm back in the 1970s when directors were afraid of showing too much sex lest they be charged with obscenity,so they did quick cuts and plenty of male facial closeups. We don't need to worry about that anymore. Consumers want to see the sex, and they don't want to see male faces.
