RagingBuddhist - yes, I understand that it may sound weird that two people cancelling the same membership at different day have access to different amount of bonuses on some days but there's no way for us to tell if the member is going to stay with us longer or if he's going to cancel on the last day of our membership. We simply decided to offer bonuses to those who stay loyal... this was the only way how we could tell who is or isn't loyal. It's not a 100% solution but so far nobody complained. Some sites have cheaper recurring memberships, some have bonus material. I don't see any problem with either of these options.
jook - of course, I know many people do it this way (joining for one month and downloading everything) but I'm serious when I'm saying this is killing small sites like us - honestly, if everybody came for just one month, our site would be offline by now, the single payments do not cover the expenses. It's the loyal customers who keep us alive and allow us to film more content. (Thank god it's a majority of the members). That's why we offer some bonus content to them. It's our decision, it's not "part" of our updates, it's a separate section for a certain amount of loyal members. I really can't understand how this could be wrong, having EXTRA stuff for selected members. Maybe we shouldn't have any bonus section at all, then people wouldn't complain?

OK, honestly this is the first time I see anybody complaining about the BONUS section. It's called BONUS because it's not available to EVERYBODY, it's a reward to some (= in this case most) members. Please explain why you think that all of the bonuses "SHOULD" be available to you?
When you bought the membership you received full access to all of our content which is currently 709 videos I think.
As a little reward for our loyal members we also have a bonus section which currently consists of two subsections:
1. hundreds of bonus scenes from other websites (owned by us) and each member automatically gets access to several videos from this archive every week of his membership (I believe it's 4 bonus videos every 7 days).
2. 10 bonus scenes from a special microsite which are available only to people who haven't cancelled their membership.
You came with the intention to download everything and cancel immediately. That's why you didn't get access to the 10 bonus scenes. It's that simple. Those are available as a thank-you to members who intend to stay with us (luckily it's the majority of them because any adult website couldn't survive if all people decided to download 700 videos for $30). Rules of obtaining the bonus videos are visible even to visitors/non-members so you can exactly see what you get or don't get for your monthly fee.

I guess I should have been more clear on the cancellation part. What I should have said is if the user cancels his or her account, membership access is blocked immediately, no matter how much time is left on the membership period. Even though they tell you this up front, I still think that this might be an illegal practice. You have paid for a specific membership period, and you should get the product that you have paid for. Alternatively, they should refund you the difference. Personally, I think they do this in order to bilk as much money out of you as possible by hoping that you will forget to cancel your membership in time and miss the automatic renewel date, thus forcing you to pay for another membership period.

As for the first comment I can also assure that the cancellation was not just ignored. Our processors all have a cancellation process that asks you more then once for cancellation. Since I wasn't there I certainly cannot say that you cancelled incorrectly, however I can say with certainty that there was NOTHING malicious on our end to prevent it. Shoot me an email and we can make sure you get enough porn for the cash you spend and we can go from there.

You keep dumbfounding me (Thats why you this dialog should be between the user and the site admin - the ultimate RESULT, RESOLVE or NON-RESOLVE could then be posted here as a valid user experience - support response included).
A vague explanation about the nav. "Click through the pictures" is a problem? We have 20 thumbs per page. You can either click the pic to get to the next pic OR use the nav arrows back and forth OR you can download the entire set as a ZIP file - What am I missing here?
As far as naming schemes, download managers, accelerators - I'll let Ryan handle that one.
Thousands of people browse this site every day, and the members area is never not active; "pages and links not loading, files downloading to a 0 file size" etc are complaints I NEVER hear.
SO thats why I would LOVE to connect you with Ryan (Ryan@mattsmodels.com ) and have him run through the issues with you.

Ok so yes I personally replied to your first support email the SAME DAY. However I needed more info from you. So I wrote you, hoping to start a dialog to help US figure out what happened so we could fix the problem or get you a refund of the discount.
You replied in the evening after I was gone for the day and the following day (shooting). At that point a support issue is handled either by Ryan or Mica Rae depending on issue and time. I APOLOGIZE if someone didnt get back to you after I replied to you. Fact is, we dont leave people hanging on purpose, yes there could be a delay, there could be email problems etc, but you went on here and complained about something that I was obviously TRYING to help you with and which was ultimately not a technical problem on our end.
In the interest of not turning this thread into a drama fest let me first state:
This issue and several others you mention here are problems that could be and should be handled privately between website and customer. With that said we'd be more than happy to refund the difference of the discount if you did not receive it. For refund - please email me.
On this issue:
- Yeah, the navigation's bad - especially for such a well-known site
I would appreciate you publically stating WHY it's bad, because we've been working on the nav and making adjustments. Specific feedback helps us with future adjustments.
ALL of the following issues are USER RELATED problems, not problems of the site.
- Server won't allow you to resume a broken download
- Thumbnails/pictures and video links not loading at times - have to refresh page, somtimes more than once
- Some videos download to 0 file size the first (sometimes second and third) time
- Have to refresh pages quite often to get thumbnails and picture/video links to load
We have a MEMBERS TOOL MENU with CONTACT SUPPORT and HELP DESK with answers to common support problems to help members quickly fix certain issues. If the Help Desk doesnt help, then members are encouraged to use the CONTACT SUPPORT Form.
I dont see a support email from you on any of these items - yet I assure you, we could help you with them.

One thing I dont do is pursue "red herrings" and I never lie.
So as long as we are both being completely honest - then I think we'll have a meaningful dialog which others might actually be able to seperate fact from fiction and benefit from.
I always address complaints and as mentioned in another response on here, we've even made changes to the site from suggestions by users. I also TRY and personally handle as many support emails as I can. If I can't do it - we have Mica Rae doing it.
Im going to address your response and first complaint as directly and best as I can:
Since we're being honest Ive had only ONE PERSON in recent history with NOT SEEING TBP discount problem. It was last week, Thursday, June 14, 2007 and I PERSONALLY REPLIED - THE SAME DAY.
Did I reply to you the same day? Arent you the same person who emailed me about this problem on June 14th and then went on here the same day to write a review?
You said: "as someone other than you took the time to explain" Are you implying I wasnt responsive to your support problem?

So that assertion is FALSE, NOT FACTUAL.
His problems with Matt's Models seem to be either bias or user related.
Also comparing Matt's Models to "ifeelmyself" (a newer and very DIFFERENT type of site) and giving it a "90" makes his adult site experiences seem limited?
The experienced porn critics at The Best Porn gave "Ifeelmyself" a 79.6.

I have to thank you because this is one of those sites that I've always had of my radar and would probably have joined if it was any cheaper. You touched on all the key points and your score looks more than fair.
I suspect that you would have given the site a slightly better score if it was only 20$. I rarely use the cost in my score but if a site is significantly more expensive than another one then I expect to see value above other sites and if it isn't there then it will be reflected in my score.
Sorry that it cost you so much.

I agree with the fact that this review was better posted as a comment to tell us that the site is no longer updating. While this is great info for a review, I do believe tech stuff can easily be thrown in there for 1 line in the pros or cons or in bottom line and the user could describe what is in the scenes more in full to create a more in depth review. My philosophy is bigger is better, I do find users who do short and sweet reviews as trustworthy as others.
But let's get for real, if you are actually planning on joining the site and giving YOUR money to them, everyone would want more details than this. This review just leaves anyone as a potential consumer to ask more questions which RagingBuddhist did and rightfully so in my honest opinion. If you are just looking to read this as never being interested in the first place, it adds a fact that you now know the site is no updating which is a great comment.

RagingBuddhist is right, mine is not a review per say, but more of a comment. I am a current member of the site, and all the other reviews are accurate as far as the details of the site. What has changed, is that it seems she is no longer actively involved in the site. You get a boatload of content with her site, and FoxyJacky, SweetAdri and MelissaCamvideos are included. It's just that FoxyJacky is the only one who does camshows and anything that resembles new content. The bottom line is this, you can go to a site such as CoedCherry.com and get most of the best pictures for free.

I will have to agree that while he did not give statistical data he did provide useful information. Informed us of his grievance and told us way he feels that way. Off course I like the statistical data, but if the site blows then I guess it is not all that important. Besides, usually when a new guy comes to complaint about a site all the basically say is "this site suck" and that is all. So all in all, not bad by me.

The number of pictures in a set ranges from 40 to 80 and the quality ranges from ok to crappy. She definately does NOT have a professional photographer. You can get the a sample of the quality from any of her free galleries. Her videos run about 5 minutes at the most and well, suck. They are poorly lighted most of the time and not of professional quality. Again, click on the free video sample on her site to get a sample of the quality. My biggest gripe with the site is the lack of any new material. 30 bucks a month is a lot to pay for stuff you have already seen or picture sets of cam shows she did 2 years ago. Her forum page now basically is her posting once a week telling her members how busy she is that she is going to go out a party that weekend.
It is not a bad site, just not worth 30 bucks a month.
