It's been a while since I've been a member, but this is just another artsy nude site, Cap'n.
To find what you want, it might be easier to start your own porn site. You might get a few members like messmer. But strip tease went out in the dark ages as far as porn is concerned.
The trend is: Show Me The Good Stuff! The sooner the better.
I don't like paying extra for the ability to download. And I've never been a member of a site where I had to do this.
But from the site's point of view, it's a way to make extra money. If they can get members to pay for the downloading option. And if people are willing to join for the online viewing option.
It's like the cafeteria option, where you pay for the choices you want. Similar to a regular restaurant, but where the items are separated even more in price and you can pick specifically what choices you want to pay for.
Personally, I never liked cafeteria-style restaurants. I prefer the traditional style restaurants, or even the fast-food restaurants like McDonalds or Burger King.
I want the ability to download videos, and save them for viewing whenever I want.
But at $50/month, this membership seems to be very expensive.
It depends on whether the URL is really from Brazzers or not.
If the URL is genuine, then it sounds like a mistake from Brazzers.
But if the URL is not genuine, then it could be a phishing attempt to get you to visit the site and then they will ask for confidential information from you, which you might give, thinking the site was genuinely from Brazzers.
I've gotten emails from fake Ebay addresses that told me my Ebay account had a problem. When I sent those emails to Ebay support, they almost always told me the emails were spam, or phishing attempts, and that I should never click on the URL link or give any confidential information to such a site.
I also got emails from fake Chase bank addresses that told me my Chase account had a problem. Since I didn't have a Chase bank account, I automatically knew those were spam, phishing attempts.
I would send an email to the genuine Brazzer support address, with the suspect email attached, asking if the suspect message is fake or real.
The "sending" email address is not really the one to check. You want to check if the URL in the email address is genuine. The "sending" email address can easily be faked. I get spam, fake emails, which sometimes have my own email address listed as the "sending" address.
Since I know that I didn't send these emails to myself with my own email address as the "sending" address, I automatically know these are spam emails.
To each their own, which means personal tastes differ, I think.
My own preferences are softcore over hardcore, pix over vids.
But I will look at hardcore, and at vids, hoping to find something I like.
It's just that there's more softcore that appeals to me than hardcore.
Also, I think it's easier to make good photos than to make good videos, for a lot of different reasons, and it's easier (takes less effort) to search through pix than to search through vids (less time-consuming, and less expensive). And vids take up much more room on the hard drive than pix.
The important factors of a site to me are quality and quantity and price. I don't require a huge amount of material if the material is highly appealing. But based on the short preview of the site, and your review, this site appears to have little material that is extremely appealing to me, so I will give it a pass (a do-not-join). Someone else might find the models or photos or videos extremely attractive, but there are other sites that I think offer more value for the price (I'm not saying the site has no value, just that it doesn't appear to offer high value to me.).
Or to quote you, in a simple summary of what I've said: "To each their own =)"
Good review. Gives overall site description. I also like the preview area of the site, which gives a good intro to the site itself. I'm into softcore pix, but the site seems too small to be worth even a 1-month membership. But that's just my personal taste, based on your review and what I see from the site preview.
I will agree with Maines Own that it's a good review, even if my opinions are not as firm or bold as his. Might be the bracing Maine weather that creates such strong-minded individuals.
A very twisty review. Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe yes, maybe no, maybe maybe... My brain feels like a pretzel after reading your review, even if the site contents don't appeal to me in the slightest. Lol.
REVIEW (CONTINUED):
But I didn't get a membership in Adult Time, until I joined 21 Sextury, when it was given to me as a free add-on (I didn't have to pay any additional fee for full access to the Adult Time network: including unlimited streaming and downloading privileges).
So, it appears that membership in Adult Time is still being given out on a random basis, if you join one of its member sites.
Unless you join Adult Time directly.
Which is much more expensive than joining one of the membership sites when the member site is on sale. Which usually happens around holidays.
Or---maybe the Adult Time site itself will go on sale, when the holidays come around.
I'm giving Burning Angel an 82. The videos are professionally shot: crisp and clear videos. If you are into goth, the site has an active fandom where users can exchange comments, and even attend conventions where some of the site performers might attend.
Captchas are the biggest improvement in porn for 2019.
They help to keep the brain active, and keep stupid people out of porn sites.
I posted a comment that at a different site, I spent about 20 minutes filing out captchas, before admitting defeat and going to a different site.
My eyes aren't great as I get older, and some of the captcha photos are confusing.
No matter.
But I've been a member of Adult Time for 3 months now, and haven't come across a captcha at the main page or any of their satellite channels yet.
Great to see that you were the first to find them.
Can I nominate you for the PU Vasco da Gama medal of world-class explorers?
But I think the Adult Time connection is worth far more than 5 points.
Any site in the network deserves a score in the 90s because of access to the entire Adult Time network. Except I've read that maybe some Adult Time members don't have access to the entire network.
Which would be a bummer.
I really like the design of the site that allows you to preview:
-what the models look like.
-the quality of the model pix (quality of the pix is poor to OK, definitely not high quality).
-the quality of the videos. Good quality videos: sharp, crisp focus, good flesh colors, good lighting.
In a PU poll a few days ago, the question was asked: "In a porn shoot, how important do you think the setting and decor is?"
This is supposed to be a "reality site", where no effort is made to dress up the models or the action in the videos. The setting and decor are two steps below Hamburger Helper.
I'm not looking to join this site anytime soon. My personal taste is more for glamor pix.
But your review is nice: short, yet covers the essential points.
Nice review: short but comprehensive. I need to learn to write more leanly like you. :)
It seems like a lot of sites are starting out with a very nice update schedule, and then, less than a year later, some in 3 or 6 months, stop updating altogether. I think the financial downturn, which has been with us for years already, lasting much longer than usual, might be partly responsible: sites start out with good intentions, but apparently the money for updates runs out. And it's also partially because networks want to advertise as many member-sites as possible, to lure more subscribers in. The more sites a network has, obviously, the more wonderful it becomes. Except when most of the member-sites are no longer updating, and many of the member-sites might have little content.
You find a site you like, because of the model selection, or the good video or photo quality, and it's a real disappointment when the site stops updating. Lack of updates definitely affects the value/score of a site.
Excellent review, as usual.
Like a well-packed sandwich.
Some of your reviews are more interesting than the sites you review.
LOL.
(Not a criticism, more like a complement, I hope.)
My brain started to short out from trying to figure out the difference between porn, eroticism, a shoe catalog, and this pay site.
I would need a new brain before I started to think about PU/TBP standards. Though I am sure the PU/TBP standards are exceedingly high. (I don't want the PU staff kicking me off the site because I am not showing sufficient respect for their high moral standards and whatnot.)
Personally, I am not into shoe catalogs. But I don't mind looking at photographic books of movie stars. That is not erotic(I don't think), but the older movie stars had some great-looking women. Head shots, wearing lovely dresses, or even casual, they had glamor, an aura, just beautiful to look at.
Since the site is non-nude, maybe it qualifies as some sort of fetish. But does it qualify as porn?
Some people have a fetish about shoes, but I would not classify a shoe catalog from some retail store as porn, even though a shoe fetishist might use the catalog to excite himself/herself.
From Wikipedia, which is not a dictionary but an encyclopedia:
"Pornography or porn is the depiction of explicit sexual subject matter for the purpose of sexually exciting the viewer. Pornography makes no claim to artistic merit, unlike erotica which does."
This site is non-nude, and I assume there is no "depiction of explicit sexual subject matter". So why would it be considered porn?
Or maybe the site is supposed to be erotic.
But if a book store had a photographic book with pictures from this site, I doubt they would classify the book as either pornographic or erotic.
