The idea behind the founding of the FDA was great, and I'm sure that over time they have done a lot of good work and helped to increase the safety of products sold. But just as with almost any government authority, there is a lot of criticism of the way they operate, and how it can take years before a product of questionable safety is recalled or stopped from sales. But even the idea of questionable safety, in practice, becomes a legal quagmire. You stop the sale of a drug from a major pharmaceutical company, and you are going to have billion-dollar lawsuits because of that.
But that's the American way, where lawyers can make a fortune suing everyone in sight. The way I understand it, the only person a lawyer won't sue is himself, and they will probably come up with ways to do that and make still more money.

I think there's a huge amount of truth in your statement that psychology can be as important or more important in sales than logic. And the water example proves it.
But there is also a small minority of people who resist advertising, the value buyers, who focus on price and value. They spend far less than what other people in their salary brackets do.
You certainly express the idea more elegantly/compactly than I am doing. Lol.

What about vagina reduction products? Everyone knows that men want a tight fit, no matter what the size of their penis might be. I bet that we could make a ton of money with the right product in that area. And if we could get the PU/TBP seal of approval on our "secrets of vaginal reduction for the one size fits all clitomizer", we could probably make 2 tons of money.

Of course they would still be advertised. I thought there was supposed to be some kind of truth in advertising law, but if there is such a law, it doesn't seem to be enforced widely or strictly. Or maybe the Internet is a different area or field, where U.S. law doesn't always strictly apply.

A brilliant idea. Maybe some PU member with computer programming skills could make a simple program that will be able to make tags for our porn collection files and set up a "use it or lose it" system for deletion. But I would scream if it deleted some of my favorite files that I had not watched in a long time. So it would need an option to tag a file as "favorite" or "to be saved until hell freezes over".

I don't usually search for models directly.
What I do is go to the sites I am currently a member of, and look through those contents.
And I also look for other sites I might want to join, and look through the preview pages there.
I go to PU almost every day, but I don't use it to directly search for specific models, though I do use it to search for sites.
I rarely go to EurobabeIndex or FreeOnes. Maybe I should use them more, but I just never got into the habit.

Salvation is what I voted. The only way this adorable woman will get into heaven, where she belongs, is to be saved. I thought we had a similar poll recently, until I saw the "submitted by" name. I must be going brain-dead. Lol.
The usual response from tech support is none. Rarely do I get a fast response. The last fast response I got was no help at all, it indicated tech support did not understand what I thought was a good explanation of a simple problem. I don't know if tech support did not understand English, or did not bother trying to understand my email request and just sent a form answer that was not helpful for my problem.
I have found a fast, helpful answer from tech support is rare.
But I only use tech support only sometimes, when I have a problem. If I used tech support more often, maybe I would have more positive experiences with it.
So my most common experience with tech support is no response (tech support appears to be dead or unoccupied or missing in action).
PU tech support is excellent, they are fast and helpful. But PU is not a paysite. :)

I rarely go to bars. Just my luck to go to a gay bar. What bars have dancing? I think you must mean a night club, and it's been like 35+ years since I was in a night club (alcoholic drinks + a dance area). As you might have guessed, I rarely went to night clubs. Lol.

The site is anonymous to a degree. And how likely are we to meet? Even if we do, would we be wearing our PU membership badges and carrying a sign to identify us to each other? Unless PU sponsors a convention, the chances of us hooking up in real life are pretty slim.
So I think it's safer to talk openly about sex here at PU than with real-life friends or relatives.
You only have to worry about how much the FBI and Department of Defense and Homeland Security are keeping records on what we write.

I would agree that masturbation could easily be classified as midcore.
I Feel Myself has some hot masturbation videos.
If done right, a softcore or midcore video can be erotic. But most softcore videos are boring. Take a look at the Metart videos, which can feature lovely teens, and their videos are almost all a waste of time. While photosets of the same models can be strongly erotic. I wish someone would explain the reasons for that in a simple way.

Is masturbation softcore? If I had to choose between softcore and hardcore, I would put masturbation in the hardcore category. Simple nudity is softcore, but any sexual act would belong in the hardcore category, beyond simple kisses to the face.
Most softcore videos are really boring, no matter how attractive the model might be. I don't know why that is, but that's my reaction to most softcore videos.
Softcore photos can be extremely erotic, but it's hard to find good softcore videos.

There are more than enough hardcore pornstars. What we really need are more cute and adorable softcore models. And some competent photographers that will present them in attractive and innovative ways. But without too much photoshopping or colorized skin tones or overly artsy styles.
Playboy and Penthouse back in the 1970s had some of the best models they ever had, and many of them were presented in a lovely way, even if the girls were photoshopped a little too much.

Not in my backyard. If you understand the reasoning behind that, then you understand that porn is evil, will contaminate anyone who comes into contact with it, and if you are foolish enough to admit that you might have seen a pornographic image once in your life, you risk being excommunicated from polite society.
Of course, those same people can fuck and suck and do whatever, because that's their God-given right.
It's not quite hypocrisy. It's more like double-vision: They see themselves as blessed, and we are obviously damned.

tangub's answer is very close to mine. I mainly prefer softcore sites. And since the videos at softcore sites are usually boring, no matter how attractive the models are, you are left with the pictures to enjoy. I am also looking at hardcore sites, where the photos are usually boring, and the good videos that appeal to my tastes are hard to find.
Good softcore pictures are found at many sites. Good hardcore pictures are difficult to find. Good softcore videos are almost impossible to find. Good hardcore videos are difficult to find.
So I focus on softcore pictures, because it's easy to find high quality, erotic photos.
