If you sign up for Danni.com, do NOT expect any customer support. (Had no billing probs with their own processor.)

Sounds like maybe they've figured out, finally, that they can't constantly dump on their paying customers and expect to make any money.
Thst, or the site has been sold again to someone who has made some positive changes.
I'm happy that you've received good response from them but I'm still waiting for responses from them regarding several tickets submitted 3+ years ago.

I remain totally pissed at these jokers at the way they defrauded their members with their old DRM waiver scam back in 2005 and 2006.
But when they offered a discounted membership to PornUser members, I thought I'd give it a go to see whether the site now offered the old content without DRM.
So I went in to sign up to find out that the discount was not really available after all, and no response from their customer support people. (After notifying Khan, the discount offer was pulled down from the PU listing.)
The technical flaws mentioned in this review were common when I was a member and apparently still are. These flaws are very rare in other sites but the folks at Danni.com don't seem to give a shit and let them continue rather than correct them.
So the bottom line is that this site continues to screw its members with false promises and a terrible customer support attitude.
Sign up at your own peril. But I refuse to give these Bernie Madoff types $25 of my hard earned money to be ripped off yet again.

Unless their customer service has been reestablished (it virtually vanished a year or so ago) I suggest keeping your money.
Content is, as obsessedoverit says, good and plenty, but when something goes wrong, as it does very frequently, the customer can be shit outta luck.
No replies to emails and no answers on their 800 number.
With Danni.com, it's a case of caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware.
This site would be one of the top sites if someone with a decent interest in the customer took charge.

I was a big Danni fan back when Danni ran the show. Technology wasn't as good as now but she was the leader of the pack at quality porn, honesty and having a really fun time, which added to the attraction.
When she sold the biz the quality slipped, they killed the chat room (it's back now), they stopped their superb support functions and totally fucked up how they handled DRM. They let that ruin what little quality they had remaining. And worse, it stopped being fun.
I was one pissed off guy back then, yet I did return once for a month. It happened to be when Shay Laren did a live webcast (Holy shit was that outstanding) so I asked if it would be preserved as a content offering. They said yes, so I stayed another month. Never was posted so I decided to pack it in.
I still resent their attitudes but I agree that the site has some great content. At $19.95, joining one month each year makes sense as a way to drain off all new content then move on.

Having been a member during the good old days when Danni ranm the site and things were good with great support efforts, the DRM was annoying but the site provided work-arounds.
Then Danni sold the site, the support staff stopped responding and they stopped a lot of their features, especially the big boob stuff like "Honest Bra" (all naturals). Worse, the work-around for DRM protected downloaded files was dropped so the "Danni Promise," while still on the site, was no longer operative.
Their best feature, in my opinion, is the live shows with member interaction. (The one with Shay Laren was totally memorable.)
But their worst aspect, a non-functional (non-existent?) Customer Support staff and a large bunch of old, but good, content that is available only in "Danni-vision" or in very low res mpeg drags it way down.
Based on this review and the possible improvements that may have occurred during my one year hiatus, it's possible the site has returned to its old glory as a top-notch site. I may sign up again to check things out.

Danni sold her interest in the site in 2006. Until then it was a great site with a lot of personality. The live cam stuff was great and the members could chat with each other and with the models.
The big problem was that they had a modified DRM on their stuff. In theory if you D/L a video as a member and you left it on the same drive (not a CD or DVD) that you downloaded it to, you could view the vid even after you dropped your membership.
Before Danni sold the site, the support staff was always fast at fixing the many, many problems this system created. After she left, I'm convinced they fired the entire support staff. Two years later I still have several open "tickets" that no one has addressed.
I have continuing very negative feelings about the site, the worthlessness of their "Danni's pledge" and the 100 +/- Gigs of downloaded stuff that has filled up an external hard drive.

Khan's reply is completely accurate.
The only problem is that the stuff that was downloaded when DRM was still in effect, and was accessible then by active members, is no longer accessible by active or former members because the site removed all DRM support. And, because the site also has removed some of its content, downloads that I made earlier (and paid for) are now just byte hogs and are totally useless.
And worse, unlike the good old days when Danni Ashe owned and ran the site, the support staff, such as it is, is non-responsive on almost all issues, especially issues like this.
So the full answer is yes, DRM is now history. That's a good thing. But for loyal customers of Danni's site who paid their money and played by the rules were screwed royally, and not in a good way.

For what it's worth, the recent site redesign was nicely done, but there are many other sites that are better managed than Danni.com.
In 2004 the site was outstanding but really went to Hell in the late summer of 2005. It's better today but not even close to its heyday.
If you want a trouble free experience I suggest you try another site. If they return to a reasonably responsive customer support function, fix the plethora of broken links, and install a functioning search function (it's been there for more than 3 years but it doesn't work), they may be returning to being in the top 10 porn sites.

No, Danni's is no Twistys. Twistys has a good mix of hardcore and softcore and has a good structured interface and high quality. No hardcore on Danni but the girls do get down and dirty with each other occasionally.
The present Danni's tries too hard to be the 2007 version of the very successful formula it had in the early 2000's when it was the porn site.
Today it's got some great content but it also has way too much chatty cathy stuff (long, vapid interviews with fully clothed girls) and it tries to get artsy fartsy with sof focus and slow motion.
The worst part is that a large percentage of its archival material is disabled or just missing. Links don't work, strange error messages pop up, etc.
The current site is in need of serious adult supervision.
Please note - The site was recently overhauled completely so that it is now a mess to find anything.
An updated TBP review would be great!

OK, I signed up again through TBP's discounted rate and am looking to see when things get back in the shape it was with Danni. Some really outstanding content has been added (more explicit and vigorous "soft core") but way too many cases where the older stuff is inaccessible, either because of server issues or software issues. I am getting less pessimistic, but their Customer Service email and 800 number service remains non-existent.

OK, it's now been a full month since they dropped DRM. Has it been reimposed yet?
Pardon me if I don't trust these assholes. I was a full paying member for almost a year when Danni ran the show and had only a few issues that her staff dealt with virtually instantly. Yes, they used DRM but "Danni's Pledge" was that once you cancelled your membership, you still had a permanent license so long as you didn't move your saved copy. Danni sold out. The new management screwed the site totally by disabling a bounch of content (about 50% was good stuff) and killing the DRM guarantee. My emails to them were ignored except when I said I was ready to subscribe again. Then they sent me a "special deal" which, as it turns out, was 5 cents more expensve than the rate offered TBP members.
A good site with a totally untrustworthy management.

Better yet, they've extended the 3 month option $74.95 ($25 per month) on a RE-BILLING basis as per the PU listing.
In my opinion, this guy Denys Defrancesco produces the best porn on the web.
That means he shoots nothing but incredibly gorgeous babes, uses HD, superlative camera work and perfect lighting.
And at $25 per month and with 20 updates per week, I have only one major gripe about the site. I am spending more on 1Tb hard drives to keep up with his output.

Thanks for the tip. I will give it a go. I dropped $74.95 on the deal because there's so damned much GOOD content there's no way I can D/L what I want in just one month, and it is over my budget to spend $34.95 a month on just one of the sites.
I'm guessing (hoping) they get smart at DDF Prod and offer network deals in the future as well.
So far I'm also impressed with the quality of the vids. The older ones are not so good but anything 2007 and later are great.

Three questions.
1. Does the site tend toward real versus aftermarket enhancements or vice versa? (I's rather see mammaries move naturally than look like pneumatic rubber bolted on to the babe's chest or ridiculously oversized.
2. Their price is very high (higher than my normal limit of $25 per month and even higher than my maximum acceptable price of $30 per month) so my question is, is the site worth the money? If so, and the quantity of content is as large aa it appears it is, I could be persuaded to cough up their 3 month price of $75.
3. Is there a network involved, and/or are there other "bonus sites," that might persuade me?

Music is OK, but only if the model is dancing to the music. Otherwise the natural sounds, such as the slurping sounds emanating from a model's pussy as she's masturbating, do it for me.
I also get annoyed with excessive grunting and groaning when it's clearly not genuine.

Frankly, these guys are really missing the boat. If they stayed at $29.95, I bet they would be making a ton more from a lot more subscriptions at the nominally top price in the web porn biz of $29.95.
Consider the fact that the only real variable cost these guys have is the small amount of additional bandwidth needed to accommodate the new customer.
The proof of this is when you consider how many sites offer a "stick around" price when you cancel a membership.
(I am paying $5.95 a month for a site that I started at $29.95 after trying to cancel. It notched down from $29.95 to $19.95 to $14.95 to $9.95 to $5.95 as zi tried each attempt. They are getting $5.95 a month from me just because they have some content once in a while that I like. I don't want to cancel because, for the price of a Big Mac meal deal at McDonalds I can get access to a good porn site - without gaining weight even.)
I'd sign up for DDF Busty in a New York minute if they priced it at $24.95, and would put it in my A list at $29.95.

Just checked the site and there is no mention of any videos, just image sets.
TBP says there are 550+ 10 minute clips. Does each and every model have a video clip?

Interesting review. Some of the "Cons" listed are "Pros" for me but by and large it is close to my evaluation.
I've been a member for several months now and find it one of the finest sites in the business. I'll be writing my own review soon and expect to give it a score of 92.

I've been a member for a rather long time and have similar observations about the age of some of the content. It's not until you drill down to a specific scene that you discover that it's a low quality offering.
However, I like the DDF approach far better than most other sites that simply take down the old stuff. When I get a strong interest in a specific model, I'm happy getting as much stuff as possible. But it certainly would be helpful to identify the quality level of each offering that appears on a model's "home page" (the page that displays all material for a model).
From a quality perspective, I'm in agreement with you as well. DDF's last few years have added some truly spectacular babes and even the not quite as spectacular ladies have terrific video material.
I've said publicly on the PU site that I view DDF far superior to 21Sextury in its efforts to work with their customers and, more importantly, its business ethics. 21Sextury has some great content but have lousy business practices and virtually non-existent support. Their loss. DDF's gain.

Although I have been a fan of the DDF sites and score them high primarily for the quality of their content and frequency of good updates, I totally agree with you that the scoring of a site is a personal matter and is based on a member's personal experience and criteria.
I've been in a similar situation with 21Sextury. They have excellent content and abysmal ethics. In particular their "guarantees" are meaningless and their pricing is deceptive and opportunistic.
My current score for 21Sextury is also a 60 because I feel that a long term patron of a long established porn site should be able to expect that the offered product is delivered as promised.
The major difference between your experience with DDF and mine with 21Sextury is that I did get into an email discussion with the webmaster of Sextury21. He eventually conceded that the original (lifetime) offer was being withdrawn unilaterally by them because their "business model" was being adjusted.
I now consider them to be a 60 (10 points above the minimum) because I find their content to be exceptional (they send out samples every now and then). But the other elements cannot be evaluated because I refuse to send them another penny so I have no ability to judge what they are now doing.

The PU/TBP price of $29.95 is better than it used to be ($44.95)and has been in place for a while. It's one of the best sites on the web and worth it in comparison to other sites at the same or similar prices.
