Case closed. I've dealt with other sites like this over the years where the webmaster is paranoid and/or overly controlling. I've learned to get out ASAP and move on to genuine quality sites that have reasonable policies and practices. There's so much great stuff out there, there's no reason whatever to put up with this crap.
Even if this site gets with it and treats its customers right, I have no interest.

The site now makes a big deal about the download feature, but is now $25 per month.

This network of sites renames some of their girls for reasons I know not. However, the network hosts this FREE site: http://www.indexxxed.com which summarizes a lot of things including on which of its 10 sites a specific girl appears.
I'm still waiting for these guys to offer a multi-site access package of some kind. The previews are terrific and they seem to do a great job finding the right babes to do their thing.

The $29.95 problem arose after I checked out the tour extensively, and with interruptions, so it's very possible that I created a cookies conflict that caused the higher price to appear.
I just tried again and it looks like it was me and not the site because the price now shows consistently as $24.95.
So my apologies to any who were put off by my comment.

Any update on how things ultimately worked out?

Nicely written review! I really like your narrative style.
I spent just a few minutes checking out the site and see what you mean. The teaser video is into female degradation and will make misogynous guys, but few others, happy.
A shame, because Aussie babes are super hot and less reserved on average than their American counterparts.

I was responding to the original review in which no mention of the tattoo theme was made. And yes, it IS my opinion, which is what this comment section is intended to be used for.
For those who are into tattoos, this site is good. If the original review referred to the fact that it was a tattoo theme, I would not have made any comment at all.

I was a member of SexyBabes for several years and got Babelicious when it was introduced. I'm a video guy and, because SexyBabes had a long history of excellent video offerings, I stuck with it until I finally gave up waiting for the quality to return to both SexyBabes and Babelicious.
I'm very happy to see your post mainly because I'd love to see your sites return to their original glory. Please keep us up to date on how it goes. I'm ready to rejoin when you tell me things are back to your original standard.

I agree about natural sounds being audible. If there are no natural sounds, I'm fine with a bird chirping in the background or something like that just to make sure my speakers are operative.
I like music where the girl is dancing in the video but the music must be part of the content and not just dubbed in. Out of synch music is totally not good.

OK. So I thought I'd check out Babes.com and I read both the TBP review and Toad's review. That's when I discovered that the company owned Brazzers, Reality Kings and Twistys.
I dropped Twistys after 5 continuous years when their site turned south earlier this year. I also have been a Brazzers member off and on, and in one memorable lapse in judgment, I joined the Reality Kings site.
Brazzers could easily promote itself as the king of lousy silicone jobs and RK as the roach motel of porn (remember the old roach motel ad..."You can check in but you cannot check out.")
Toad's observations about their billing and business practices tell me that this company is one I can definitely live without, especially with all the other sites with outstanding customer service and with terrific content. (DDF, VideoBox, Perfect Gonzo and ALS Scans come immediately to mind as superior in both service and content.)

This was a premium site way back when I first became an online porn user, Videos were not so hot (but back then the technology wasn't there). The photos were wonderful.
Sorry to see how they've become another POS site that sounds like they just don't give a damn.

Thanks for a great review. The Babes site was one of the very first sites I joined and it was good (not great) at the time.
Your comparison, for example, to Met Art is perfect as a reason why Babes goes off my short term join list. I like the technical excellence of Met Art but I literally fell asleep watching one of their videos last year when I was still a member (boring video, but a sip of Glenlivit scotch contributed to my drowsiness. I don't think I've ever dozed off watching a porn video.
I've evaluated the "lifetime" deal and did the match as you did. Unless you stay a member of a site for an extended period it's not a deal by any stretch of the imagination.

I signed up twice quite a while back (2006 and 2005) and both times I was denied access a day or two into the membership. In both cases the "don't really care" attitude was apparent because I couldn't get any reply at all for several days from the support people. And when I finally did, the reset password didn't work.
In both cases, I got a full refund of my membership fee so I have no beef about that, but I have stayed away from that site ever since. Interestingly I've been a long term and satisfied member of their Sexy-=Babes.tv site (with several other sites attached) and have had no trouble at all.
I may give it another try because I do like the stuff on their other site and there appears to be a level of satisfaction expressed by everyone.

About 18 months ago I signed up for the trial on this site and got hit with the limits to access, but still was interested enough to sign up for a month. It was a decent site with some good quality stuff but the assortment was skimpy and there was no free access to other sites...just heavy upsell efforts.
Based on your review I plan to sign up now to see the improvements you mentioned.

Your experience with the automatic signup matches mine about a year or so ago. The practice was also present at Naughty America but only for a month or two. Somewhat similar to VideoBox as well.
Both sites stopped the practice quickly. I would hope that BB would as well.

I agree with virtually everything says. I agree totally with his score which he discounted significantly for their lousy business practices. They don't need to use subterfuge to make a few extra bucks especially when it serves only to piss of good (paying) customers.

Hi Amanda,
Based on recent comments above, it appears that the folks at Bang Bros have decided not to correct their dicey business practice. It would be appropriate, in my opinion, for PU/TBP to "delist" Bang Bros the way you have delisted other sites that use inappropriate business practices.
I'm not talking about the daily "we want you back" emails. I'm talking about the inappropriate (illegal?) credit charges for sites never ordered.

Great point! My IT guy at work showed me how to delete cookies back in September so I did it. It was a pain because I had to restore some of my auto settings but it was about that time when I stopped getting strange stuff from Bang Bros as well.Now I get 3 or 4 "we want you back" emails every day but they are easily handled compared to the unintended subscriptions.

Thanks Amanda. Candidly I'm surprised that Bang Bros Network doesn't recognize how the negatives of this business tactic far outweigh any gain they may get from selling a one month subscription. They've lost me permanently as a customer after several years of monthly subscriptions.
Hopefully they'll figure it out and discontinue the practice.

Epoch is great, but charges for extra sites aren't Epoch's responsibility. They will handle the reversal process efficiently but it's still a hassle.

The problem starts with their cross promotions on the BB site. I've simply clicked on the link expecting to be directed to a preview site. What I get is full access and a credit card surprise...just from the one click.
That's bad enough but when those ubiquitous promotional emails arrive and you click the link, you've signed up.
It's that practice that I will never sign up again with BB. I'd sure like to see PU/TBP to look into this very shady business practice.

While I agree with the quality of BB's content and its huge inventory, I hste their business practices especially when they keep your credit card number on file, then when you simply go to one of their non-network sites just to check it out you wind up getting subscribed to the site then need to go through the hassle of canceling and getting the credit card charge reversed.
100 means everything is perfect. That's not the case by any stretch with Bang Brothers

Great idea.
The two quality billers I've dealt with are CCBill and Epoch. Both are totally reliable and professional. No bullshit.
In fact a few years back I had some real issues with a site and worked directly with an Rpoch attorney to resolve the problem. We communicated by email and by telephone.
Long story short, Epoch fired the site because of it's bad acts.
I'm not happy with the bullshit games Bang Bros plays so I avoid them like the plague. However now that you explained the trick, I will sign up again and use it so zi can get Epoch.
