I'm currently a member there and it seems legit to me. One thing that did concern me was that when you go into a DVD to see the scenes there is an option to buy the scene for $5.99. My worry was that I paid for a subscription but all that did was get me behind the paywall and then I had to pay for each scene. But that doesn't appear to be the case.
But there's a caveat. When I joined LH I was having a credit card issue. I was getting strange charges from a VOD site. I cancelled that card so if any addition charges wouldn't show up anyway. But I have no reason to believe that there is anything shady about the site.

There are surprisingly few lesbian-themed DVDs and I didn't see any individual scenes within the DVDs that aren't otherwise all-girl. The site lists 46 DVDs under the 'all-girl' tag but a few of those are solo with toys. Many of them are of the cougar/young girl variety too. In educated estimate is that there are approximately 30 DVDs (with four scenes each) of the typical lesbian variety.

Thanks for this, exotics. I don't have an active membership anywhere right now, which is unusual for me, so I may sign on here. Like you, I wonder why so many studios have weak sites. You'd think that they'd put the resources into showcasing their material properly.

Great review! This site has always been on the outer ring of my radar screen and I might finally take the plunge based on the information you provided. I'm glad you mentioned that what appear to be additional-cost add-ons are actually part of the membership because I probably wouldn't have even clicked on them in case they automatically billed me for that.
Like you, I like having access to older DVDs and it seems odd to me that the studio doesn't release more of them here. It appears, for example, that the series "Hot Bods and Tail Pipe" only has two DVDs on the site when the whole series has at least 30 editions. I really wish they'd plug those gaps...

Thanks for the useful review. This site seems to be just another in a long line of studio sites that are poorly done. I've wondered before why a studio wouldn't put a better effort into getting their products into the hands of paying customers.

Good point. When I heard the story on the radio I assumed that the sites were updating regularly. If anything, a site that doesn't update should lower their prices.

It's odd that they'd use a tiered price structure that creates a dis-incentive for new people to join. I heard an interview on a canadian radio program with the site owner's lawyer. At that time they were one of the few websites that were actively going after pirates, and one of the messages i got was that Lightspeed and other smaller sites are really being hit hard by piracy. The cruel irony of most anti-piracy prevention measures is that it likely only hurst the paying customers who support the site and would never post the material on a torrent or tube site.

I checked their FAQs and they still talk about downloads, but only in the context of not allowing download managers. If they've changed the site to eliminate downloads they really need to be upfront about that.

I've never been a member to any Lightspeed site but way back in my early days of downloading porn I suspect my interests were a lot like yours. I joined several "Little" sites, like Little April and Little Summer. Like you, I've kept some of the videos even though they are almost unwatchable due to being such low resolution. Little April is 400x300! The strange thing is that these sites seem to still exist. I can't imagine anyone who joins now would be terribly happy to find the quality that low. One solo site that I still have a lot from is Brooke Skye. I see the site is delisted here due to some shenanigans on the part of the site owners, but I've also heard that the site was taken down when Brooke called it quits. At least that site offered some decent video resolutions.
But it seems that Lightspeed is trying to survive in 2013 with a 2003 business model. And I'll bet that if/when the business fails the site owner will blame piracy and ignore the fact that his site is woefully out of date.
I agree 100% that this is an entirely reversible problem. All Lightspeed needs to do is get some new models and start shooting in updated resolutions. And while I don't like download caps, I can live with them if the site is honest about them and they are reasonable. 4GB/day in 2013 is definitely not reasonable.

Astonman - I compared the scenes on Little Asians with those on the rest of the Team Skeet network and there doesn't appear to be any overlap. I don't have a TS membership so there could be other scenes there that don't show up in the tour search but I doubt that. I specifically selected about six scenes on Little Asians and then searched for those stars on the main TS network and didn't find any duplicates.
The scenes at Little Asians are, as you say, just standard fare but they are pretty good.
I specifically joined to get a few Vina Sky scenes.

Thanks for the review. I like these sites, but I've been burned by them too. I had memberships to Little April and Little Summer and both of those were just mediocre sites. The pictures were okay, but the videos were terrible. The resolution was so low that they were hard to watch on full-screen. So it's nice to know what Little Caprice has to offer, and what flaws there are, before I join.

It's been my experience that most sites don't disclose whether or not they allow downloads and many that do mention it do so in vague language buried in the terms and conditions. I get that piracy is a serious issue, but it seems to me that screwing over your PAYING customers is hardly the solution.

Unfortunately this seems to be a growing trend. I'd be okay with a two-tiered price structure though. One price for streaming and an additional fee for downloads. Some sites are using that model now too.

I agree, but I think I'm part of the problem. I've joined several of these Porn Pros mini-sites knowing that they'd be small with few updates but did it anyway. So as much as I dislike this model with enough fools like me to make it worthwhile they'll continue to pop up.
And like you, I like the looks of what this site has to offer.

Great review. I wouldn't consider myself a video 'snob' by wanting decent quality, but this stuff from years ago just doesn't cut it anymore. Like you, I wouldn't download anything with this low a resolution unless it was something I really, really wanted.

If you don't do it now, I'd highly recommend going to the parent website of this one before joining any site. The Best Porn has a ton of good information so even if the site you wanted to join was hiding the fact that it was streaming only the staff at TBP would let you know that. Same with things like download limits and DRM. The reviews at PU usually don't go into the technical detail that they do at TBP. TBP and PU are the only source I use and trust on internet porn.
As for the gay site reviews, there are certainly several gay guys posting here now so maybe it will reach a critcal mass and really take off. Here's hoping. It will make this site more thorough.

It surprises me that there are sites that offer streaming only. I might be wrong, but I'd guess that most people want to have something to show for the money they spend. But maybe with the rise in things like iPhones, iPads, iPods, Playbooks, etc there is a market for people who only want to stream.
And not to sound patronizing or anything because I'm not meaning it that way, but it's good to see gay porn getting some attention from members. PU seems to have a pretty diverse membership but the gay community was definitely keeping a low profile for a long time.
