I would never suggest you change your score or anything else about the review. You are actually one of my favorite reviewers because I can tell they are heartfelt. As for Abby Winters, the blog post doesn't say they will stop updating - they said they will stop doing new photo or video shoots. I'm sure at the time they still had stuff in the archives they could roll out, although I am surprised that 2 years later they are still adding stuff. And at the rate of 1 update a week, they can probably keep going for a while, depending on their backlog.
Anyway you talked me into signing up, and I'm loving what I'm seeing so far.
One thing to mention is on the home page, if you scroll down a bit, there will always be some kind of coupon code available for use. The code changes every 24 hours. I saw one that said get a free month when you buy a sub, so I now have a 2 month subscription.

We recently made the difficult decision to stop making new shoots. This is for a few reasons;
Lack of profitability: In the last year we made a significant financial loss, and the next 12 months are looking similar. We had a few projects in the pipeline to increase our sales, but I am not confident they are enough. Unfortunately, some have been cancelled now (though the new Tour is going ahead).
Lack of the right models: We never properly recovered from moving to Europe in 2010. The loss of our backbone of regular Australian models is what we built our reputation on. I think we (and especially the models) did a good job over the last 13 years, but we’re finding it harder and harder to find the “right” models every month.
Time for a change for Garion: It’s been 23 years now, and I don’t look forward to abbywinters.com work like I used to.
We have a bunch of shoots made but not yet released, that we’ll be releasing over the next year or so, at a reduced update schedule or two releases per week from July 1 2023 (we’ve added a note to the signup page, so it’s clear to new subscribers)."
It's a pity, I was strongly considering joining up.

Nice review. Are they back to Australia? That's where they started out, and I loved the site back then, but at some point they moved to Europe and the feel of the site changed a lot, so I haven't joined in years. Their "contact us" lists an address in The Netherlands.
Back in the day, my favorite part was the number of girls who gave off the "I can't believe I'm doing this" vibe, and it was quite charming.

Thanks - also good point on the image sizes. I don't usually download the largest size so don't pay much attention to that myself. But definitely useful information for the PU membership.

Yes, the photos are available to download in a zip file, even if you are not a VIP member. But I have never downloaded a photo that big as a non-VIP member, so I'd assume that you need VIP to get those larger files. But they don't tell you how much bigger the photos and videos are, just that they are bigger. I haven't actually sprung for the VIP so can't say for sure what the payoff is there.

I had a similar experience recently, both with an issue logging on and getting a quick fix. I think they are trying to unify all the logons, which in the long run will be a good thing, but glitches like this are probably to be expected when they do stuff like this.

Thanks for the nice review. I was a member a few years ago and really liked the site and had been thinking about joining up again, so this is timely for me. One thing back then was they had some pretty strict download limits (per day, and also the number of files you could download at once). Did you encounter anything like that?

Yes, I had assumed that being part of the Met Art network meant they owned the site, but maybe it's more of an outsourcing / management thing. You (the photographer) provide the pics and have editorial control over what gets posted when, and Met Art handles running the web site, marketing, billing, etc.
It's a pity that the updates slowed so suddenly, because I like the site a lot and would have considered a longer membership if the updates stayed at every-other-day.

that's definitely true. I think for some models this is the "next step" before trying a twosome. And some never move beyond the solo sets.

I struggled with the score to give, could have gone as low as 85. But the number one job of a nude photography site is to post great pictures of beautiful nude women - and this site does succeed at that.
I'd love for them to read this review, fix the problems, and earn high praise from me in response.

I have 4 at the moment and would love to add more. I like the freedom it gives me to not have to download like mad, piling up a huge number of zip files that I never open. I do have the concern that the site might go belly up shortly after joining - after all, it is called a "life of the site" membership. I assume they take the cash and plow it into cigars and booze rather than putting it in escrow. So there's definitely a risk there. Plus it gives me motivation to live forever.

Yes, I would agree with that assessment. But I am already a lifetime member at Met Art, so was looking to expand the horizons. There is a lot of overlap with Met Art in terms of the models, but there are photo sets and videos for these models that do appear on only Errotica Archives. So if you're looking to add some sets for a favorite model, this can be a good place to look. But if I was to join only one or the other, then Met Art would be my choice too.

I definitely agree all pay sites should use HTTPS. I've been noting whether or not it is in use in my reviews. It was the firefox pop-up that caused me to be aware of it in the first place.
Especially since some people use the same user ID and password in multiple locations, it's important to have encrypted logons everywhere, not just on banking sites.
