Thanks for the comments. Public nudity is obviously a genre that has the same allure if your straight or gay. But biggest compliant about the genre (but not about Public Disgrace) is that a lot of site somehow manage to make it seem cold and clinical. You'd think that they'd have to work to remove the heat from any porn, but a lot of sites featuring public nudity seem to manage to do it easliy.

Yes, I know this is my fourth review of this site but I’ll try to keep it interesting and informative.
It’s tough to compare PD to anything else on the internet. It seems to be in a class by itself. The same can be said for many Kink sites. They take a common BDSM niche and add a wrinkle to it that makes it more interesting. And they add in production values that are among the best in the business (I think they are the best, but I don’t want to bait a reader for an argument).
As I write this there are 186 scenes posted with another one due today or tomorrow. One scene is added each week. The format is unchanged: the scenes can be roughly divided into two classes, those shot in the U.S. and those shot in Europe. The scenes shot in Europe really push the limits of public nudity, and I don’t mean that in a negative sense. With some European countries not having the same hang-ups about nudity that we prudish North Americans do there is always a segment of the scene where the model is exposed, used and abused in a very public environment. One of the elements that, for me, makes public nudity alluring is seeing the public’s reaction. Sites that edit that out, or make the nudity seem commonplace lose, in my opinion, all the heat. That isn’t the case with PD’s European shoots. Even though these scenes are shot in places where public nudity doesn’t have passersby running to the nearest policeman or priest, PD is able to get the heat level up and keep it up. One of the usual reactions, which I think adds to the heat, is that people pull out their cellphones and start taking pictures. Maybe I’m weird (okay, that’s almost certain) but that adds a lot to the realism and heat in these scenes.
The U.S. scenes used to be mostly shot in Kink’s location in San Francisco. These are hot too, but the public element comes from bringing the public in to the Armories where the environment is controlled rather than taking the model out to the public. This is obviously safer, but in the past while Kink has become more daring in their American shoots. They aren’t ‘public’ in the same sense as the European scenes, but they are occur in more ‘public’ spaces like bars and sex shops where access can be controlled. There are some truly public shoots, such as a scene shot partially at the Folsom Street Fair which probably pushes the limits for American tolerance.
PD has a great variety of models. You’d expect given the nature of the site that it would have mostly fetish models who are known for this kind of work, but there are a number of U.S. and European porn stars who make an appearance too. (The scene with Jada Stevens in a gas station is worth the membership fee itself…) I’m not too sure about some of the European models as I don’t follow many of them, but I’m assuming that many of them are popular porn stars. One constant is even though there is a variety of body types among the models they are all beautiful. I suspect that PD is able to attract well-known and beautiful models is in no small part a testament to Kink’s reputation for quality.
One possible downside for some people (though I don’t list this as a con since it is so subjective) is that the male talent tends to be the same in each scene. That’s no issue for me, but if you happen to not like Steve Holmes, Mark Davis or James Deen then this may detract from the site.
Being a Kink site, the technical stuff is well done. Each scene offers a trailer, photos and video. Video is available as a stream or downloadable as a WMV (HD), WMV, MP4 (HD) and in sizes for mobile devices. I downloaded the WMV HD scenes and they come in at 1280x720 at 7200kb/s and 30fps. They’re in Codec 9. Subjectively they look great.
The photos are available in two resolutions (800x533 and 1200x800). They’re available as singles or zipped. The one thing that I think Kink could do better is offer the entire series of photos as a single zip. I’m not sure why, but they break the scene into sub-scenes and offer zips of each of those. I have no issue with that (though I don’t understand why they do it) but they should offer the full set as one zip too.
The subjects of degradation and humiliation come up on the forums and in comments here a lot and tend to be almost universally panned by PU members. For people who like BDSM and know Kink.com, this isn’t news, but for those who don’t know them, this is BDSM done right. People like Max Hardcore and the lads at Facial Abuse degrade and humiliate women for their own pleasure. Kink, including PD, degrade and humiliate women for the woman’s pleasure and their pleasure is obvious whether a non-submissive understands that or not.
The bottom line is that PD isn’t for everyone, but if you like BDSM in a public environment this is pretty much your only option. The good news is that even though PD is in a class of one, the site is excellent and is an excellent value. I highly recommend a membership.
I'm a big fan of many Kink.com sites and this is one of my favourites. I have to weigh in on the other side of the fence on the public stuff though. For me, that public exposure, the nervousness of the model and the reactions of the people are what makes the scene hot for me. In all the scenes shot in Europe I watch those parts of the scenes and skip the sex in seclusion.
You do have to admit that in some cases the public reactions really do add to the scene. One scene that's a favourite is with the model Samy (shoot number 6871 titled "Hot Euro Slut Gets Tied Up and Fucked for the First Time") where she is bound on a set of stairs going down to a subway and four young, attractive girls come along and watch and eventually participate a bit. That is definitely hot!
One of the hottest scenes I've ever seen is with Molly where she's taken to a street and made to wash car windows in various states of undress and eventually naked. Maybe I'm wired differently, but the heat of that scene is off the scale for me.
Hmmmm... maybe it's time for me to join Public Disgrace again...
I'd guess that your thoughts about why the gay site is more tame is correct. People tend to be a bit more homophobic about male homosexuality so the people at Kink need to be more discrete.

I’ve re-read my past two reviews and what I wrote continues to be valid. The biggest change is that the site is getting bigger by the week. They are now up to approximately 140 videos, most of which are about an hour long,
The basic formula remains unchanged since the site first opened: they combine some pretty intense BDSM (with a lot of humiliation, which is a sub-genre in BDSM) with public nudity and sex. The two broad categories that I said existed are still there: scenes shot in the U.S. (mostly) in the Kink Armories and scenes shot in Europe. The scenes shot in Europe are far more daring (obviously due to a more relaxed environment re public nudity) involving bondage and nudity actually out in public in front of regular people going about their business. The scenes shot in the U.S. still involve public humiliation but it is done in a more controlled setting with a group of people who obviously are in on the whole thing. Having said that though, there have been several U.S. scenes posted since my last review that really push the envelope. There are no scenes that compare to those shot in Europe for full outdoor public nudity, but there are some scenes that push the limits.
Regardless of where the scenes are shot, the underlying formula is unchanged: take a model, put her in bondage in some public setting and add in a heavy dose of humiliation. That takes up the first half of the scene, and then the model is bound and fucked. While that may sound like a recipe for all the shoots to look the same, the site does an excellent job of keeping the scenarios fresh and interesting.
As with all Kink sites, the scenes are available in a variety of formats and sizes to keep everyone happy. There are both HD and SD wmv files, an HD mp4 and a format for IPods. You can download the entire scene as one file in the listed formats, or you can download it in segments. Pictures are also available individually or as a zipped set.
I’ve said before that Public Disgrace is an excellent value, and it continues to be, especially now that the site has grown. The site continues to update weekly. To make the site a better value, register as a Kink.com member (free) and get on their mailing list. They regularly email special offers and deals on this and other Kink sites.
The bottom line remains the same: this is an excellent site if you have an interest in this very specialized genre.
(Some may quibble with the ‘99’ score, but I stand by it. The scoring guide recommends scores in the 90s for sites that are “near perfect, best in it’s class. Highly recommended.” That is definitely the case here.)
That's also a clear theme that runs through the other Kink sites that I've had memberships in. Kink has really mastered the 'illusion' of extreme BDSM while still making it clear that the model not only consents but is also having a lot of fun. I like that about Kink.

I agree with you on the interview thing. The closing interview is probably sufficient. But given that Kink is really pushing some limits I suspect that they want (or have been told by their lawyer) to make everyone 100% certain that this is all consenual. Maybe if Max Hardcore had done something similar he wouldn't be a guest of the State in a prison now. Not that I think what Max did and what Kink does are really comparable... Max really tried, and usually succeeded in being degrading. With Kink, it's all part of the consenual fun.

Yes. All the videos have multiple download options for format and size. These are mp4 HD, mp4 Ipod, wmv and wmv HD. Within each of those options there are usually five or six clips but above the clips there is an option to "download full movie." I can confirm that this option exists throughout the site and that it is the full movie.
I honestly never figured that I’d give a 99 to anyone either, but this site deserves it. The volume of material they have, the uniqueness of it, the download speeds and the customer service all support a high rating. The fact that they produce some of the most innovative BDSM available is a big factor. The fact that it is easy to access at a fair price clinches the deal.
I’ve never gone wrong with a Kink site. I’ve had recurring memberships to several sites and have never been disappointed. There are some sites that I’d not have any inclination to join, but I suspect that they would reflect the same high standards that I’ve seen.

It’s certainly no secret to anyone who has read any of my other reviews of sites on the Kink.com network, but I’m a huge fan of this company. Obviously it’s essential that I’m a fan of BDSM too, and for anyone who is, Kink.com offers the best BDSM sites available.
When I last reviewed Public Disgrace it was a relatively new site to the network that catered to a very unique niche: BDSM and BDSM-related activities outdoors and indoors in public settings. As the site has grown it has continued to serve this niche and serve it very well.
The niche, as you can tell from past reviews, puts a woman in a BDSM situation, with various forms of bondage and discipline, and brings her into public. In my opinion, the site can be divided into two broad but distinct categories: public outdoor with real public looking on, and public but in a controlled environment. The site is relatively equally divided between these two sub-niches.
The public outdoor scenes are very unique. They are shot in Europe, where the religious right obviously hold little influence. A woman in some form of bondage may be made to walk in a public square with her arms bound and her skirt around her ankles. Or perhaps on a bus. Sex is often included, but not normally right out in public, though it is outdoors and the public is nearby. These scenes are very unique and very interesting, though sometimes I can feel a little uncomfortable for the public who happen by.
The second broad sub-niche are scenes filmed in some setting like a bookstore, a bar or a hardware store. These seem to be a bit more staged than the real public ones, and part of that feeling comes from the ability to control access. The result is that there is usually more sex involved. This sub-niche also includes scenes shot at the Kink.com Armories in San Francisco. These scenes are more like a BDSM gangbang. Both of these types of scenes are very well done and are also interesting.
On the technical side, the site offers video in various formats and scenes that are downloadable in segments or as a whole. There are pictures, and zips are available.
For a site with this amount of very unique photos and videos, the price offers excellent value. Once you’re a member of any of the Kink.com sites you can get discounted access to the others. While some sites, like Society SM and their related sites, now offer five sites with one membership, I can’t fault Kink.com for not doing this. The sites within Kink.com are all unique and are easily able to stand on their own.
Public disgrace is an amazing site offered by a company that obviously cares about its product and customers. I highly recommend taking a membership.

Sorry for the lack of detail Cybertoad. I guess I assumed that a lot of people would be familiar with Kink stuff, and that probably just isn't the case. To answer your questions:
Content details: The Eastern European scenes start with a scantily clothed woman in some sort of bondage and often with a ball gag. She is paraded around in public and made to do humiliating things like drink from a dog bowl or let people touch her. The scenes then shift to sex in some outdoor and public location. The U.S. scenes are more like a gangbang scene with bondage and Kink props used. There are several scenes in each shoot using a different bondage or prop setup. In the U.S. scenes the 'public' element is a little strained in that it is shot inside for obvious reasons, but the trade off is that the models are more widely known.
The humiliation level in both the European and U.S scenes is fairly high.
Video quality: decent. I'm not a techie so I don't know what is objectively good. The bitrate is 2140kbps and the dimensions are 960x540.
Other stuff: There are no dowmload limits that I'm aware of on any Kink site. If there was one, I'd have surely run into it on their other sites. There is no DRM either.
As for the thread where people are complaining about it being too tame, I can understand that but I don't really agree. It's a subjective thing. I read the thread and many people seem to want to see specific things, especially more humiliation. I like the balance they have now, though if they added more humiliation I wouldn't complain.
Another complaint that I do agree with is that the shoots in the U.S are a lot like other Kink stuff, but just with a gangbang thrown in. It looks a lot like Training of O or Sex and Submission.
If there is a valid complaint in the thread it might be that the site seems to advertise more humiliation and less sex, when what you get is less humiliation and more sex. I don't necessarily agree with that since I think having a woman tied up and fucked outside while people watch is pretty humiliating. But I won't complain if they ramp it up.
I also note on the forum link that you posted that there is only one thread that has anything negative, so for the most part people seem satisfied.

I agree 100% with you that having to use "Kink Dollars" can hide the price of the videos you want to buy. I'm no expert on using them as I only did it once. I bought the advance video for Public Disgrace because i really wanted to see it.
To answer your question though, I can't really say. The problem is that to get the PD video I needed a certain number of Kink dollars and since they only appear to be available in certain values, I had to buy more than I needed. So I actually had to pay more for the video than Kink was actually charging because I don't think I'll be able to use the remaining Kink dollars without buying more. (This is just a guess, but I think I had to buy 30 Kink dollars for $30US and then used maybe 22 Kink dollars for the scene.)
For me, I think that if you only want one or two scenes you are probably better off getting a one-month membership.

Kink has knocked another one out of the park.
Just for the benefit of those who don’t know Kink’s work, they are a BDSM-themed group with a number of sites. Because of the twists that they add to the BDSM theme the sites tend to be very innovative, like Fucking Machines or Water Bondage. The tone of the videos isn’t demeaning though like you get with Max Hardcore or some of the stuff from Sweet Entertainment Group. Kink goes out of its way to make it clear that this is all consensual, but they also do that in a way that doesn’t interfere with the overall fantasy of the scene.
Public Disgrace is the newest addition to the Kink stable. The theme is public humiliation, public bondage and public sex. If that is something that you’re interested in, this site warrants a look. As of today (October 7, 2008) there are only nine videos posted. While that doesn’t seem like a lot you have to consider the production values of those nine scenes. Kink’s standards are second to none in the industry. Consider that Kink bought and uses a huge old armory in San Francisco. They take their business seriously.
As it stands now with the nine available videos, they can be classed into two distinct types. There are the videos shot (apparently) in Eastern Europe using Eastern European models on public streets, buses, etc, and then there are the videos shot in Kink’s armory in San Francisco. Obviously the American authorities would be less likely to turn a blind eye to a bound girl walking naked down the street, so the ‘public’ element in the American videos means bringing in a bunch of guys to have their way with a bound woman. I know this sounds like just a gangbang, but adding bondage adds a whole new and unique element. (Check out Sarah Jane Ceylon’s video for proof of that)
As for the Eastern European videos that are truly public, I find that there is a bit of a cringe factor. I have no idea how many of the people watching are warned, but I suspect that Kink does go to some effort to make sure that no minors are around and that no one who doesn’t want to be exposed to this is exposed. There is a bus scene with Valentina Blue that has to have the cooperation and consent of everyone on the bus. If Kink does get those permissions they keep them hidden so as not to spoil the public fantasy.
Price will be an issue, and I agree with that. Right now the price seems high for only having nine videos available. (I’m assuming that Kink will follow its normal weekly update schedule.) I can’t argue with someone who says that the price is too high right now, but I can add this: if you like this kind of material, you will not find better on the ‘net. If you have only a passing interest in this, then the value may not be there. If, like me, you have an interest in this, the value is there even with only nine videos right now.
Overall this is an excellent site that will undoubtedly get larger over time.
I bought the first PD episode prior to the site becoming active. I've had several memberships to Kink.com sites and have always been impressed with their quality. If you like porn with a harder edge (but without the Max Hardcore kind of abuse), Kink is for you.
One thing that made me uncomfortable about Public Disgrace is that being in public means interaction with people who may not want to see what is going on. Kink is a very responsible company, so I'm sure they take some precautions. It also appears that these scene are all shot in Europe (Eastern Europe). I presume that's because shooting this kind of material in the U.S. would have the morality police tossing them in jail for the rest of their lives.
Public Disgrace is now active and the site looks up to Kink standards again. I''ve just taken out a membership and will post a full review soon.

Bottom Line:
I’m a big fan of public nudity and I’m always looking for sites with good material. Unfortunately, Public Expose isn’t one of the better ones I’ve seen. It’s small, with only about 120 videos. The TBP review says that there are 148 videos, and it is correct that there are 148 videos on the site, but for some reason, there are many duplicate videos that even use the same name. There are approximately 120 unique videos here.
Having access to 120 public nudity videos shouldn’t be anything to complain about, but these videos are all quite short. They range in length from under one minute to just over five minutes. Most of the videos follow the same format in that an Eastern European woman is seen in some sort of an outdoor setting (fully dressed) and she flashes for the camera. If full nudity exists on this site, I’ve yet to see it. There are several scenes of two women flashing and making out a bit.
This may be subjective, but I found the scenes to be almost un-erotic: the models are mostly shy about flashing and many of the shoots are simply outdoors near other people. When I contrast some of the Eastern European public shoots available on ALS Scan and Public Disgrace, those on Public Expose come off looking pretty shabby. Certainly the women on Public Expose aren’t bad looking, but they aren’t great either. I don’t follow many Eastern European models, but I still didn’t recognize any of them.
Technically, the site was probably average when it was started several years ago, but it is well below what the average porn customer would expect today. Video resolution is quite low. It varies depending on which type of file you want and ranges from a low of 320x240 for a very low-res mpeg4 to ‘high’ of 720x540 (at 128kb/s) for a DivX avi file. I downloaded the DivX files simply assuming that since they were the largest they’d give the best quality, but if this is the best, it isn’t very good.
There are photos available, but the photo sets are very small – less than two dozen pics in some cases. That may be good news, though, when you learn that there is no zip option available.
If there is any good news about this site, it’s that they have a full trial available for just $5.95. Given that there are only 120-ish small videos on the site anyone with a half-decent internet connection can download every video in the five day trial period. And further taking from the value is that the site hasn’t updated in over a year.
Unless you’re a huge fan of public nudity and want to add this notch to your belt, I’d avoid it. It isn’t a bad value at the trial price if you go in with your eyes open and realize that you don’t get much for that fee. Just remember to cancel your membership before the trial ends.

If you've never been a member before at all I think that you'll find that it is worth the membership fee just for what is there though.
You certainly point out a serious flaw in the site though: the fact that there is very limited information available to a prospective member. This really bugs me about some sites, especially when you compare them to sites that give full acess to see what is there and the only difference with a membership is that you can actually download. Sites like Public Flash always make me nervous - of they won't give me a good idea of what they have, then what are they hiding?
But with Public Flash you can take a membership with some level of confidence based on the reviews here and TBP.
Sterile... that's an apt description. I often wondered how they could take such a unique niche and make it seem so blasé and almost dull. But since they had Veronica Jett, I pretty much had to get a membership. I'd pay to watch her read a newspaper.

Thanks for the comments, Denner. I like a lot of the European public nudity and flashing sites too, but Public Flash is quite different. Many European countries seem to have a more relaxed attitude to sexuality so those sites can get away with more than those in the U.S. With Public Flash, they show less nudity than the European sites but are in a real way more daring because of the risks involved. One thing I like about Public Flash site is that they show the set-up and you get a sense of how much fun the model is having and how excited she is at being 'naughty.' That element is missing from many of the European sites that simply have a nude woman walk naked down a main street. The American site Nude in L.A. is a lot like the European sites in that they do full nudity on the streets of Los Angeles, but they don't show the preparation and the nervousness. It all seems rather clinical.
One other site I'd recommend is FTV Girls. This is a well known site that doesn't market itself as a public nudity or flashing site but that has some great public stuff. All of the models are stunning, and most do some public stuff before going indoors for full nudity and masturbation. If you're a fan of public nudity and flashing and haven't been a memeber of FTV Girls yet I'd recommend considering that too.
