Great review! Thanks for posting it. I was a member about a year ago and like you I found it to be an excelelnt value. A recent review of the site stated that there were too many fetish videos, but I don't remmember that there were so many that I felt cheated. Also like you, I really wish they had more of their older titles available.

I’m not sure that we have different tastes at all. I think the problem may be a combination of us each talking about something different and the fact that I might not know what I’m talking about.
First the fact that I don’t know what I’m talking about: my only experience with Rocco dates back to the days where he was rough for the sake of being rough. I haven’t seen enough of his more recent work to realize that he’s changed. Consider me duly informed. I downloaded a bunch of it from the EA site and will definitely watch it.
As for degrading porn, I view anything as degrading that is obviously over the top and clearly intended to degrade. The measure I use isn’t the Dominant person (usually male) or me as the viewer. I judge degrading on how the woman appears to react to the situation. Max Hardcore is probably the poster child for rough and degrading porn, though there are others too, like Khan Tusion. What makes me think of Hardcore’s and Tusion’s work as degrading is because they clearly intend it to be that way. There is no sense of it being something the women are into and there is no sense of fun. It’s as if they wouldn’t want the women to be into it and enjoying themselves.
I mostly agree with your comments on Kink.com sites. I’m a huge fan of their stuff because it is hardcore BDSM without being degrading. The submissive women on the sites clearly enjoy what’s happening to them. And even though I rarely watch the interviews before or after the shoot, I know that they are there and the women comment on what they liked and how into it they were. It’s obvious that the women who work for Kink.com are into BDSM play – it isn’t intended to be degrading for the sake of degradation. Any degradation is part of the play that brings the women enjoyment. But like you, I find that the biggest problem with Kink.com sites is that they can seem a bit sterile and repetitive. It may be that the individual sites focus so narrowly on one or two aspects of BDSM that it becomes difficult to get interested eventually. The Training of O is a bit different in that it is more dynamic and uses more BDSM conventions. I understand that many people don’t like the strict roles in many Kink.com sites, but I think that is part of the allure that I like. So on this point at least we can admit to different tastes.
So I’m off to view some newer Rocco stuff. And if the scene you’re referring to is the one in Rocco Ravishes Hollywood, then you’re absolutely right about that. That is truly an amazing scene!
Thanks for the information on Evil Angel over at Videobox. No one really mentions this is detail in any of the PU reviews. I've been curious about EA and Vivid as add-ons and wondered if they're worth it. Sad to say, but I wonder if these add-ons are now necessary to make Videobox worth a renewal since they seem to be using second and third rate American porn to supplement a steady diet of second rate European stuff.
I guess abuse is in the eye of the beholder. I see Rocco as just a bit less abusive than Max Hardcore but I don't see some of the hardest stuff on the Kink.com network or Society SM as being abusive. I have no idea to explain this different perception. Rocco does have quite a following and is certainly a talented director and performer.
The threeways and multiples are a mix. I'd say only about half are G-G-B but that's just a guess. There are a lot of scenes with more than three too and those tend to be mini-gangbangs.
I'm glad I could be of help. Like you I appreciate reviews that steer me to good sites that I have an interest in and I also appreciate reviews that confirm a suspicion that even if a site is technically fine I probably wouldn't be into the material.
SteveO - there is one other possibility that I have no info on. Evil Angel DVDs are also offered as an additional-cost 'channel' at Videobox. I don't know how much extra it costs and I don't know how much overlap there is, but that could be a better value. But you are right - the EA site is easily worth the monthly fee.
They have such a great catalogue of older titles that I was hoping to get access to. I suspect that it might be more work since they have to convert it to digital first. And it is possible that some of the directors only had a loose association back then. I was particularly hoping to get more older Joey Silvera titles. he had two exceptional series in the 90s - Butt Row and Fashion Sluts. Those are hard to find now. And Joey seems to be more into transexual stuff now. I remember about a decade ago renting a new Joey Silvera DVD just because it was him. It was from his Rogue Adventures series. I must be naive because it never occured to me that Rogue Adventures could be a code word for transexuals! Some of the older Buttman stuff is there too. But like you, I can only take the newer, abusive Evil Angel stuff in small doses.

Bottom Line:
Evil Angel bills itself as the official site of the Evil Angel Studio. They have a large, though certainly incomplete, collection of EA videos. As of today they say they have 443 DVDs. Most of those DVDs appear to be complete. EA Studios has been around a long time and they had been a favorite of mine for a number of years. One of the reasons I joined (apart from the $9.95 monthly price which may be only through TPB and PU) was to get access to a lot of their older titles. I was a bit disappointed in the site in that most of their older (and in my opinion, best) titles aren’t available.
For the older titles that are available, the site commits what I think is an unpardonable sin: the stars are all listed a “N/A.” How can you, the studio, not know who the stars are in your movies?
The site is more about the newer titles from EA. I know this is a personal opinion, but one of the reasons I liked the older EA was that it was hardcore but still not abusive. Their latest directors, Rocco Siffredi and Nacho Vidal come to mind, have built their later careers on abusive sex. Once in a while I’m okay with it, but it seems that most of their scenes are rough. Same with threesomes and group sex – I’m not exaggerating much when I say that it is hard to find a scene with one girl and one guy. If you like that, you’ll like EA. (Also, EA, with directors like Joey Silvera, seems to have a lot of TS stuff. I’m not into that and I wish they had included some of Slivera’s older work before he went a little freaky.)
Technically the site isn’t perfect, but it up to par with similar sites. The navigation is relatively easy, but less thorough than it could be since you can only rely on pulldown menus. If there is an actual search function I’ve yet to find it. One technical aspect to the site does seem to be a bit unusual, but since I’m not well-versed in technical stuff I’m not sure. The problem is that file sizes seem a bit large for the resolution of the file. For example, one file I checked has a bitrate of 2568 and a resolution of 640x480 and the file size seems a bit large at 720MB. Subjectively it doesn’t look as sharp as HD.
Download speeds aren’t super-fast, but they are consistent. I have a 10MB/s service and would usually see total download speeds of close to 1.5MB/s. That’s certainly on par if not a bit better than comparable sites.
The bottom line, though, is that I’d still recommend a membership in this site. If you like new EA stuff (and like some of their older stuff too), or if you like rough group sex, then there is lots to like here – especially for the $9.95 fee.
I've joined more recently than my 2017 expired review and I'd recommend the site. It isn't purely 'exotic' models of different ethnicities. There are some of those models but there are many A-list American and European models too. Models such as Jade Jantzen, Janice Griffith, Jaye Summers, Nina North, Lily Jordan, Liza Rowe and Harmony Wonder have scenes here. In many cases, the 'exoticness' of the scene is by having a known porn model with darker skin as many Latina models have. Models like Veronica Rodriguez, Gina Valentina, Michelle Martinez, Alina Lopez, Aria Skye and Esperanze del Horno have scenes here.
I'd score it at least 85 if I wrote a new review. It's also a large site with high production values so the deal being offered is worth considering.
That seems to be a change. I joined this site maybe two years ago now and was given the same offer of additional sites for a year for $70USD. But in my case I recall it was very clear that I would be joining. Not that this helps, but that membership was a really good value. I had access to a lot of quality sites for a full year.

Full disclosure: I have a membership here by accident and not by design. I took an upgrade offer from a sister site and this site was included as part of the package, though it is available as a stand-alone, single membership site too.
This isn't a criticism, but I really can’t say with any certainty what this site is trying to offer. The tagline is “Young Exotic Girls” but that doesn’t imply anything specific. But the site offers a higher proportion of non-Caucasian models though some of the models are listed as Caucasian at IAFD. There are many black models, some Latina models, some of mixed race and a few Asian models. The predominant look is young and petite though. But to consider this site as being about ‘exoticness’ is probably a bit too vague. One thing working in the site’s favour though is regardless of ethnicity these are just beautiful women in hardcore scenes.
The site began in late 2014 with a busy upload schedule. Now that the site has grown to approximately 90 scenes it adds a new scene every two weeks.
Apart from whatever perceived ‘exoticness’ that darker skin or mixed ethnicity brings to a scene this is pretty standard boy/girl hardcore porn. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I didn’t find any scenes with a threeway (b/b/g or b/g/g) and there are only three anal scenes on the site. One personal note is that I like how a scene gets set up. I find that I like the heat that can build as the sexual tension rises between the models. This site may have that but not in any of the scenes I watched, and I watched many. Most scenes open with some posing and then the sex begins with no explanation as to how this couple came to be.
The technical elements of the scenes are all over the map. Most of the scenes are offered in multiple file types and those are usually offered in more than one resolution. But there are a few scenes that don’t offer many options and it isn't clear why these would be different. Most of the scenes, however, have something for everyone: there is a WMV file in 720p, a MPG file in 480p and MP4s in 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. I downloaded the MP4s in a mix of the 720p and 1080p depending on the overall file size. The 1080p scenes look great and come in at 1920x1080 with bitrates that vary from 5000 to 10,000 kb/s. The 720p scenes have more variability with some coming in at 1280x720 but others at 1280x674. Bitrates here varied from 3500 to over 10,000kb/s. I claim no technical abilities but it seems odd to me to have so much variation in file specs.
I didn’t download any of the 4K files as they were just too large for what I prefer.
Photos are also available but only as zips. Screenshots are available as singles. The photo resolution isn't great (1000x1500 for some, 1125x1500 for others) but it is fair to say that this isn't a site made for photo collectors.
I had no issues using a download manager to queue-up files for downloads. Download speeds were what I normally see from reputable sites, which is to say that with my connection they were fast and stable. I didn’t hit a download limit on this or any of its sister sites.
The site really has no serious drawbacks. Some may find the scenes a bit tame but for others this will be exactly what they’re looking for. The site could improve by offering a TBP discount but it’s still a good value at the full price.
I can’t say that this offer will be around forever, but the parent site made me an offer I couldn’t refuse and other members here at PU report similar offers. I joined Passion HD last fall and within a short time I had an offer to get an annual non-recurring membership that included access to several other sites. My recollection is that this was a one-time cost of $69 USD and that gave me access to Casting Couch X, Lubed, POVD, My Very First Time, Exotic 4K, Fantasy HD, Tiny 4K and Pure Mature. Soon after that Holed was added, and I was very happy. A couple of weeks ago a site called Spy Fam was added. (I’ll add a review of that soon.) From other comments made here at PU that deal is still around and seems to change occasionally. For example, some reviewers mention that their upgrade offer included some of what I have but also included Baeb.
The bottom line is that this is a great site. It offers a lot of good quality mainstream porn for a fair price. As a stand-alone site I’d recommend it with a caution for people hoping to find a site that features ethnic or exotic models. This site certainly has a higher proportion of different races but it really can’t be easily categorized so narrowly. If, as happened to me and others, you get the offer to upgrade in both number of sites and membership duration that makes this an incredible deal.
I joined and planned to use Internet Download Manager as I always do but the site has blocked it. I can't speak for other DL managers but IDM certainly doesn't work. Not being able to use IDM makes downloading a pain in the ass.
So much of what we like in porn is purely subjective that it's almost impossible to separate that from an objective idea. I agree with a lot of what you say here but I have to add that I find all the ingredients that ECG adds together gives a sum greater than the individual parts. Some of the things you dislike I like a lot, such as the interview while the model is having her makeup done. I like that the site isn't unnecessarily complex. For me though, the best part of the site is that the models are amazing.
The value of PU is that we have a place to express these opinions, and I'm glad to see the webmaster weighed in too.
I’m on my third membership here and find that since the last time I was here the quality of the models has diminished. Most of the recent updates have had models that aren’t up to the standards that I’ve seen in earlier uploads. If you’re a first-time member this won’t be an issue, but if you’re coming back to the site after a while you may want to look carefully at the preview pages. The same is happening with the sister site, Back Room Casting Couch.
This was one of my favorite sites and I hope they get their groove back soon.

Bottom Line:
This site is a recipe for disaster in many ways: it is simplistic, formulaic, mostly POV-based and uses only one male talent. But in this case the site is much greater than the sum of its parts. The simple layout works in this case since the site is based around the female talent, the formula may be the same in every scene but I found that formula added to the heat in the scenes. While POV can be annoying, the male talent here must have some serious practice because this is some of the best POV work I’ve ever seen, and finally, that male talent doesn’t fall into the trap that so many other one-man-shows do – he doesn’t ever lose site of the fact that members are joining to see the girls, not him.
The glue that holds this site together is the quality of models that get recruited. While there isn’t a lot of variety, the choice of model is something that aims for the biggest chunk of the market: young, fit, petite, and usually Caucasian. I’m one of those people who like the site’s choice of models and I really like what the site has to offer. To further the appeal, the models are never caked with heavy makeup and dressed in slutty clothes. The site accentuates each model’s natural beauty rather than covering it.
A sharp contrast between this site and the sites I normally join is that the sites I normally join use the better known porn models working at the time. I have little experience with amateur sites but with very rare exceptions these are models I’ve never seen before or since. I have no idea how the site recruits the models, but whatever they’re doing they should keep doing it because it works.
The scenes all have a common theme: a ‘college girl’ is enticed to dip her toes into the world of porn. The girl’s youth and appearance certainly lends credibility to the overall theme. A viewer could really get lost in the fantasy that this is an otherwise innocent college student who is about to do something nasty for our viewing pleasure.
Many of the scenes start with the cameraman / male talent picking the model up. As they drive an interview in conducted which is usually pretty interesting. In many of these scenes the interview progresses to some nudity in the car and is often followed by some road head. In rare cases the girl will actually ride the guy while he drives. Sure, it’s dangerous, but it’s great to watch!
Other scenes begin in a hotel room but there is still an interview process.
The scenes then transition to some posing, usually some oral on the girl, oral on the guy, sex in multiple positions and finally a money shot, usually on the face. Most of the scenes then have some footage shot after the scene, which is also interesting to watch.
The site layout is simple, but simple works here. The scenes all have the same theme so the biggest difference is the model herself. I do wish that there were some tags offered, though there really wouldn’t be many. A tag for anal scenes (there are a few) would be great, and maybe even a tag to sort by the model’s age would be a good addition.
One feature that I like a lot is that while a lot of the camera work is POV, there are also two or three fixed cameras set up too. That’s good to provide some variety but the site uses split-screens to capture two views at once. Half the screen might be a shot of the model getting fucked in the doggy position while the other half is a close-up of her face. This is a great effect and really works well.
I’m not sure if this is a pro or a con, but many of the older shoots aren’t edited to vary the shots between POV and the fixed camera. Instead, they offer the full scene from either viewpoint. I’m glad they dropped this practice and started editing, but it does offer an option for viewers who prefer one or the other.
The site is large, offering about 320 scenes and it updates with one scene being added per week. Each scene is available as a single download or in clips if you’re only interested in a segment. The site supports download managers with no obvious time-outs.
Download resolutions vary. The best is 1280x720, 3000kb/s, many are 768x432 at 1800kb/s and the lowest are 640x360 at 1800. All are 30 fps. The older scenes don’t look great by today’s standards, but they aren’t bad. The medium resolution looks pretty good even though the specs would suggest otherwise. I think the biggest flaw is that the site could offer higher resolutions. Also, WMVs are pretty much all that are available.
Photos are available as singles or zips. I didn’t download much, but what I saw was relatively low resolution at 1400x788.
The bottom line is that this site could have been a total mess if any part of it was badly done, but since all the elements are well done the site is very good on the technical bits. Once you factor in the newness and apparent innocence of the models this is an amazing site that I both highly recommend and have already added to my list of sites to come back to regularly.
I don't think so. The reason I can't be sure is it looks like there were some scenes added while I was a member but I suspect they were re-posts of older scenes. They looked old.
I have no idea why the site owners continue to offer only one (low) resolution. This really is a case of some good porn let down by a poor site. The site and the downloads may have been state-of-the-art back when they started, but it really needs a modernization now.

I’ve often written that for a site to be great there needs to be three things happening: the porn has to be good, the site has to be good and the scenes need to be easily accessible in a way that members can use. This site is a case of only getting one out of three right, and that’s having good porn. But since that’s subjective your opinion might be different. I’m fairly confident that no one will disagree with my objective assessment that the site needs some work.
The genre that the site fits into is the quasi-amateur site where fresh-faced models come to perform a rare scene. The models are all relatively young (18-22), almost all are Caucasian, body types can vary a bit but most of them are petite. Some of the models have gone on to become big porn stars, but most are more obscure than that. While many of the models have other scenes (often on similar sites), most have little exposure if that’s something that you like.
This is a large site that started in 2000. There are currently 570 videos available and it appears that there is a new one added weekly. I say that it ‘appears’ that it updates weekly because I can’t be certain since none of the scenes are dated. All of the scenes follow a formula, which some will take issue with. I’m indifferent to sites that offer formulaic porn as long as the formula works, and in this case it does. The formula is simple: the POV camera pans up a bed to the model and she is introduced and interviewed. There are some poses with clothes, the clothes come off, there is oral on the male cameraman, there is usually (but not always) vaginal sex, and the scene always concludes with the POV cameraman jerking off on the model’s face. I’m no fan of watching a guy jerk off on a woman’s face (the jerking part, I’m fine with facials) but it’s so common in porn now that there’s really no point in complaining.
The cameraman (and presumably the site owner) is good at POV work but not the best I’ve seen. One thing he does right is recognize that the scene isn’t about him so he doesn’t try to upstage the models. Some will complain that he talks too much, but I find that doesn’t detract from the scene and probably helps it by keeping a connection between the performers.
As with many similar site, the main strength is the models who appear. Many are really good looking and worth watching.
One thing that I really like is that the models begin the scene in street clothes. I really prefer this over a sleazy porn outfit. The site made the right choice in this.
Apart from the good porn this site really has little else going for it. The site design is less than simple: it’s outdated. And apart from being outdated, some of the choices the designers made are just bad. For one thing, the site is backwards. When you enter the first page with scenes you’re on the page with the oldest videos. Once you’re on a page you want the only way you can decide if you want to download a scene is from a small thumbnail. If you like a particular body type you may be disappointed with what you download. There is no search function, there are no tags and there are no links if a model has more than one scene on the site.
The downloads themselves are well below industry specs. There are no options for file types or resolutions. WMV is the only type available. The two most common resolutions are 640x480 and 704x396. There are a few at 720x480. Bitrates are 3200kb/s. I’m willing to accept that older scenes won’t be available in better resolutions, but in 2014 these resolutions don’t cut it. At a minimum the scenes should be 1280x720. They don’t look bad, but they still need to improve.
Download managers are allowed and I had no problem with links timing out. Download speeds were the same as I get elsewhere.
When I joined many of the scenes (maybe a year and half of them) provided no model name at all. The site explained this choice as an attempt to reduce piracy since a search for the site name a model name would bring up tub-site links. While this is better than streaming-only or DRM, I found it annoying since I prefer to sort the scenes by model name and if I like the model I might be able to find more her elsewhere. Sometime in the past two weeks the site has reversed this policy and now includes the model’s name on page, though the download still has a generic name. I can live with that now that I know the model’s name and can change the file name.
So would I recommend this site? Yes, with some caveats and reservations. If you like this kind of porn (quasi-amateur, casting style) then it’s worth joining as long as you recognize that the site needs a lot of work and even the newest downloads aren’t up to standards. What baffles me is that the site owner obviously puts a lot of work into shooting the scenes and then drops the ball by having a website that has been past its ‘best before’ date for several years.
