It’s been about five years since I last reviewed this site and since it has undergone a major overhaul in that time I figured a new review would be in order. The last time I reviewed the site I scored it high based on the fact that the site is well done and the porn they offer is some of the best available (if you like this kind of porn, obviously) and they do all this at a great TBP price. I’m happy to say that none of this has changed, though I do recognize that there are a lot of complaints about the new site layout.
Evil Angel had a major site redesign a couple of years ago and many people have been critical of it. I didn’t like it mostly because it seemed to be a redesign for the sake of a redesign and added nothing to the user experience. I’m solidly opposed to change for the sake of change and that’s what the redesign felt like. But we’re now well into the new look and I’m used to it so while it was an unnecessary change it is the new reality and it takes nothing away from the amazing porn on offer. Those of us who didn’t like the new site just need to get over that opposition.
Evil Angel needs no introduction for most avid porn buyers. They are among the most prolific of active porn studios and have a long history in the business. They have a collection of some of the best directors in the business and hire the best model. Their porn covers a wide spectrum of interests but it is fair to say that in those niches they lean to the harder side of the business. This is not artcore or couples porn. Porn with the freshest models in the business is well represented here but so is transsexual and MILF porn. There are several directors that specialize in European models. One niche that is prevalent is anal sex, so if you like anal sex this site is well worth a look.
The site currently has over 2100 DVDs with close to 11,000 individual scenes. By any measure that’s a lot of porn and no one should complain about the site’s size. The site updates with the addition of at least one new scene per day though on many days an entire DVD will be uploaded. One thing that Evil Angel does that has caused some confusion is that many DVDs are released on the site before the DVD is released and those will be streaming-only until the DVD hits the streets, which is never more than a week after the upload. Once the DVD is released all the download options become available. Some members have seen this and reported that EA is a streaming-only site and this isn't accurate.
The site offers many ways to get at the porn on offer. You can sort by scene or DVD and can sort by model or director too. You can include or exclude TS scenes. Niche tags are used as well. The site offers both streaming and downloads in multiple resolutions. Downloads and streaming scenes are available in 160p (500kb/s), 240p (800kb/s), 360p (1200kb/s), 480p (1200kb/s), 540p (1800kb/s), 720p (4800kb/s) and 1080p (7000kb/s).
The last time I reviewed this site I complained that the downloads timed out. That’s still an issue but they timeout after about 20 minutes (I’m guessing) so at least knowing that allows the user to plan accordingly.
EA is part of the Fame Digital family so if you aren't familiar with them there is a caveat: save your membership confirmation email because Fame has several sites for cancelling your membership. Cancelling is easy if you have all the information they want but can be frustrating if you aren't prepared with your membership information. Save all of that on joining and you won’t have a problem.
A complaint I had the last time remains: I really wish the site offered more of their back catalogue from the 1990s and 2000s. Evil Angel has been a porn powerhouse for decades and those of us who’ve been with them that long would love access to more older titles. Assuming they still have the rights to those titles of course.
Maybe the best thing about Evil Angel is the amazing discount that TBP has negotiated with them. If you join through TBP you get a month for just $15 USD which is an incredible deal for this amount of exclusive and top-quality porn.
It’s worth mentioning that Bryan Gozzling is now a director here and has four DVDs available here. Gozzling has the well-deserved (in my opinion) reputation as being the best new director in the business. The reason this merits mention is that on his solo site, Hookup Hotshot, Gozzline has strict and restrictive download limits and those limits don’t exist at Evil Angel. HH does have some exclusive scenes and I suspect that the videos at EA are edited to remove some of the harder stuff but Gozzling fans can get a lot of his stuff here in high resolution with no download limits.
The bottom line is easy for me: I’m a regular and often recurring member here and I’m a big fan of this studio. The site would be a great value at the full cost but becomes an incredible value with the TBP discount. I highly recommend a look. |

I agree with pat. I've joined EA through TBP / PU several times and I'm also on their mailing list. There are times when I can have 10 or more emails from them with the same offer. While it can be a bit annoying, some of the offers are unbeatable (like the seven days for $5) so I just delete the duplicates.
You can probably get deleted from their mailing list but that would also end the offers. They (along with many other Fame Network sites) are constantly making decent offers.

I've been meaning to ask a question about all the Evil Angel BTS/outtakes scenes because I first noticed maybe six or eight months ago that they were locked. That seemed odd to me since all they were are fluff. It never occurred to me that I needed to upgrade. That is certainly some serious nickel and diming!

I'm with you on being a big fan of EA (and their related 'network' of sites - see Mike Adriano, for example). These sites represent some of the best value on the 'net. Some (perhaps you too) join in spite of the anal, I join because of it. Also, their HD quality is exceptional. I'm downloading 1920x1280 stuff from other sites that doesn't have the same crispness and clarity that EA has.
One point of disagreement, while it may seem like a month that streaming is the only option, it is probably closer to a week. I just wrapped up memberships to EA and the related network and it might even be as low as four or five days. It may depend on the scene too, I don't know. It is frustrating, but only REALLY frustrating when your one month membership is set to expire in three days and they upload a scene you really, really want and you know it won't be downloadable until after your membership expires. But that's likely their point anyway.
For me, EA is the new Videobox. I used to join VB every six months but now EA is the site I join over and over and over. Keep an eye on your email because there will be offers for other great sites from them too.

I have a membership there now and tried it. I use Internet Download Manager. It works fine for me and my download speeds are near 7MB/s, which is fast and what I'm used to seeing from the site. One issue that all Fame Digital sites have is a fairly short link time-out.
I can't offer a solution, but I can say that I can't reproduce the problem.

Hodayathink is correct - many, probably most, but not all.
RustyJ pointed out that they have an offer for former members for $10 for a month and that included the other Evil Angel site. You can find the other one through Milk Enema or Mike Adriano. At that price join both. There is some overlap, but not that much and you'll get better access to their catalogue. If you haven't been a member before you might be able to join a mailing list and get the offer. But since they are part of Fame Digital you may have had a membership at a site before and still have the offer. It's worth checking your inbox.

Thanks for pointing this out Rusty. I'm just about at the one-month mark on an Evil Angel membership and was going to cancel but was given the same offer when I tried to cancel, so I took it. I did get the email though, so others should too.
The sites are different though there is some overlap. I've reviewed Evil Angel in the past and still think it is among the best sites on the 'net. I've also reviewed the other one through the Milk Enema site. That review and others may answer more of your questions.
At $10 each though I'd recommend joining both.

Yes I did - thanks for that and I meant to reply. I'm coming to the end of a few memberships and rather than trying to fix FDM now I'm just using IDM while I have the free trial. Once my memberships expire I plan to follow your advice and try to find the problem. IDM works well and I've discovered how to do what I want with it but I'm reluctant to spend the $25 to licence it when free software will do everything I need. When I get started on the repair I may have to check in with you.

I use Free Download Manager successfully on the site. I use it to queue up downloads. The only problem is that the links seem to go dead fairly quickly so I can't load more than five or six files at one time. As for speed, I didn't have a problem.
Free Download Manager has stopped working for me and until I can figure out what went wrong I'm using a trial of Internet Download Manager. IDM worked fine on a sister site.

I'll admit that the cause could be a problem on their site, but try clearing your history and cookies first. I've joined both Evil Angel sites multiple times, I've joined related sites, and recently joined a new site in this group (Reality Junkies) and the discount worked for me.
These are amazing sites. Don't give up now!

There might be one other possibility for you to find what you're looking for. Evil Angel has two websites. You're at the Evil Angel one, but if you go to Mike Adriano here that will link you to a separate EA site. The second site has a little, but not much overlap with the first one, so you might find what you're looking for there. Like the main EA site, the second one has a $9.95 TBP join price so it is an amazing value. And like the main EA site you're able to see all they have to offer without joining so you can tell if the title you want is there.

I'm in full agreement. I wouldn't need a discount to access properly remastered older porn. My favourites are from the 80s and early 90s, but I'd be happy to explore older than that too.

Interesting review. I agree that they could do a better job with their older titles. Many older EA movies are classics and deserve better. I suspect that they're chasing a younger market who want the newest and they want it now and I can understand that because that's where the money would be. Given their huge back catalogue of older titles, I'd certainly support them if they created a site for just those. Old farts like you and I could get what we wanted and the younger folks could get the new stuff. (Not that I'm knocking the new stuff because I think Mike Adriano and Jay Sin are among the best out there today.)

My last membership here expired just over a month ago. I wouldn't normally rejoin a site so soon but they posted the Tanner Mayes anal scene so I had to rejoin. I was AMAZED at the update schedule they've got now. What's even more impressive is that they're putting up new releases. The Tanner Mayes title was just released and these guys are making it available. And if you join through TBP they're only charging $10 for the month. This is an amazing site. I've been a long-time fan of Evil Angel for a lot of reasons and I can't think of another studio that has such a great web presence. I'm definitely increasing the frequency for rejoining this site.

I recently posted a review of the other Evil Angel website under the listing of Milk Enema and a bit earlier under the site Mike Adriano. If you’re interested in any EA material you may want to check those reviews since most of what I wrote there applies here too. This site, however, is different from the others that I reviewed, even though they are all part of the EA company. This site isn’t a network like the other one (which is a collection of themed sites).
Obviously Evil Angel material isn’t for everyone; they are among the hardest of the hardcore mainstream. If, like me, you’re an anal enthusiast then both Evil Angel sites are worth checking out.
Many harder hardcore studios rely on European talent to do the heavy lifting, but here there is a great mix of American and European models. In some cases they appear in the same scene, which is rare in porn.
The site has grown a lot since I was here last and they now have over 900 DVDs available. The site updates regularly, and while I can’t say for sure they seem to update daily. One negative is that some (maybe all) of the new scenes they post are first only available in streaming before they’re made available as a download. I don’t know how long the delay is before they become available as a download. If you join the site to download a recently added scene be aware that you might discover that you can only stream it.
While there is no search function you can sort the videos by scene and by DVD. Once you’re at the scene level there are tags that are useful too.
As with the other EA site there are two video options (wmv and mp4) and at least two resolutions available for each. Unfortunately they don’t post any HD material in wmv format so your only option is mp4 if you want HD. HD is widely available and is at 720p. I download wmvs and at the highest resolution they come in at 720x400 at 2100kb/s. Subjectively, they look great even running them through a 50” TV.
Many Evil Angel scenes are quite long, sometimes nearly an hour, which is a good thing. The downside to that is that file sizes can be large if your ISP imposed a cap or if you have a slower connection.
Pictures are available but those appear to be mostly screencaps or photos taken during the scene itself. Zips aren’t available. This is primarily a video site and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is mostly interested in photos. That’s not a negative since Evil Angel is a video studio not a photo studio.
What you get for your membership is access to one of the better studio sites on the internet. I’m not normally a fan of studio sites since studios don’t seem to put much effort into their sites, possibly to focus on the people who still buy DVDs. My biggest complaint about the site as a studio site is that they don’t offer a big selection of their older material. Evil Angel has been around for a long time and as a fan of older porn I’d really like to see more of the older stuff.
This could be a positive or a negative, depending on your perspective, but there isn’t a lot of overlap between the material on this site and the on the other EA site. The good news is that you won’t feel like you’ve wasted your money when you buy access to two different sites, but the bad news is that to get better access to the EA catalogue you do need to buy access to two sites. But… both EA sites offer a TBP/PU discount and have an excellent $2.95 3-day trial. If you’re a fan of EA material and haven’t had a membership here before I’d strongly recommend that you avoid the trial because there is no way you could download everything you want here in three days.
Another reason to consider the full membership is that EA has the shortest timeouts I’ve ever encountered on a website. While they support download managers actually using one is virtually impossible since the links you line up for downloading expire in about 15 minutes.
If you like hard hardcore and especially if you like anal sex, then you really should consider a membership here. With the TBP/PU discount this is probably one of the best values for porn on the internet. |

I've joined Evil Angel sites several times and I'm planning another membership soon and I've never had a problem. I think most others here would agree with me that you need to set up a separate porn email account (Hotmail or Gmail) because you WILL get spam from someone. At least if the spam is in one email that no prying eyes can see it can't do you any harm.
BTW, I should add that Milk Enema is a great site and if you join it and like it that will make two of us here who like girl/girl milk enemas. I need the support!
