I'm a big fan of most of the sites this company puts out but the business model they seem to be using now is for these smaller, themed sites. They often don't offer good value but with a discount it can be worth a membership or, as has happened to me several times, I just like the niche so it's worth it for me to join at full price. Daughter Swap is among my favourite sites these days and Dad Crush isn't far behind.
Based on your review I might be tempted to join Dyked but it really isn't the kind of porn I collect. That's no criticism of the site or of you for liking it - that's just a big advantage of being a member here at PU.
Please don't take this the wrong way: my eyesight for seeing things close up has deteriorated badly in the past couple of years and I'm too stubborn to switch to bifocals. In most cases I find anything I post here is easier to write using Word (or another word processor) and turn up the font size a bit. For me it has the added advantage of being able to edit any post more easily too. That's also how I write all my reviews. I can take weeks to write a review because I'm always going back and reworking it with new things I want to add or things I criticized but rethought my position on. The final advantage is that some PU members have lost their reviews while they're writing them right on the site. That's not a risk I worry about.

It's disappointing when you find a site with some classic porn and it doesn't offer the best quality or even the entire catalogue. I had a similar experience with JM Productions a few years ago when I joined their site. They have some amazing stuff but not all of it was available there and a lot that was available was so low resolution that it wasn't worth downloading. I recall that I later found a more JM Productions stuff on another site (Bang.com, I think) and they had more of it and it was a better quality too.
I wish more classic porn would be made available. I know I'd buy it.

Thanks for posting this. My last experience with this site was so bad that I'll never join again but the problem is that EA was a powerhouse studio at one time and the site looks great. I hope anyone interested in joining reads the user comments here and saves themselves a big headache and waste of money.

One of the big advantages that TBP/PU has is that you get the 'professional' side of things, TBP, which can list new sites and give some great information on sites. But then on the PU side you often get a deep dive into a site that normally takes more time than the professional reviewers could devote to a site. For example, I've found download limits because as a user I probably download a lot more than a professional reviewer would. Having both views is the real value here. If any site has a real flaw it’s likely that someone here has found it.

It appears that we may need to observe a moment of silence for a once-great studio. And if they aren't dead they are mortally wounded as they haven’t uploaded any new material in six months. That will hardly fill any prospective members with confidence. But it gets worse! I found the billing and cancelling processes to be deceptive and, perhaps coincidentally I’ll admit, within a short time of joining the site my credit card was hacked.
The Good:
Elegant Angel was once a powerhouse studio in the adult industry. They were a top-quality money-making machine going back many years. While they don’t have much of their back catalogue available here (from the 1990s and 2000s) there is a still a good collection of some great porn here. The available porn dates from the last ten years or so and features some of the biggest stars in the industry at the time each was shot. The site currently has over 2700 scenes on 521 DVDs.
The videos are streamed in two resolutions (no details on those are available) and there are four download options on the newest scenes: 320X180, 720x408, 1280x720 (3500kb/s) and 1920x1080 (8000kb/s). File sizes are reasonable for the two higher resolutions with the 720 files around 1GB and the 1080 files closer to 2GB. The older scenes (depending on when they were filmed) often only have two lower resolution files available.
The site allows download managers and I had no issues with the links timing out too quickly. There is also a great TBP discount offered so if you join be sure to do so through here.
The bad:
There has been nothing added to this site for the last six months. The last videos or pictures date from June 2016. I’ve read that the studio itself is in trouble and if the lack of videos here are any indication those rumours might be true.
Lack of updates in and of themselves isn't necessarily bad, in my opinion. 521 DVDs for $10 is still a great deal for a first-time member. It’s the subsequent rejoins when things become a problem. So the buyer definitely needs to be aware of this issue. (On a related note, the tour pages allow a prospective member to see what’s available with the upload date so there will be an opportunity to see if the site has been resurrected at some point.)
This is a minor complaint, but the site uses generic file names that don’t identify the scene so you’ll need to rename them as necessary as you go along.
The Ugly:
Elegant Angel bills through “psnbilling” and since I’ve signed up and cancelled memberships here before I wasn’t concerned. But this ‘biller’ doesn’t seem to be the actual biller now. When you want to cancel your membership and follow the links on the psnbiller page you end up on a page with several hyperlinks to known billers, such as Epoch. You have to then select who your actual biller was. But guess what? The email from psnbiller doesn’t identify who the actual biller was. No problem, right? Just check them all. I did that and none of those listed billers had any information on my membership. And the charge that showed up on my credit card was for “psnbilling.”
Billing B.S. like this serves no one well in the long run.
The good news is that I don’t really need to worry about cancelling my membership though. Within a short time after signing up to Elegant Angel through psnbilling my credit card was being used for purchases thousands of miles away. Since the card had to be cancelled, cancelling the membership isn't really an issue now.
Admittedly I can’t say for certain that my card was hacked through psnbilling but I hadn’t used the card in five days and then within an hour of signing up the number was being used fraudulently elsewhere. That’s a bit too much of a coincidence for me.
Obviously I can’t recommend anyone joining this site who has been a member in the recent past but given the billing issues and the rather coincidental credit card hack I’m not willing to recommend this site to anyone any longer. If the billing and security issues were resolved I’d certainly recommend the site to someone who’d never been a member before but unless there was clear evidence of those problems being resolved I’d say stay away. But since the only reply that I got from them regarding my credit card hack was to tell me that they’d rebill me until I cancelled then I’m going to take it that they don’t plan on fixing those problems. But since they caused me to have my credit card cancelled, good luck to them in rebilling.

Yes, I remember that from the last time I was there. But I still wish that EA wouldn't put DVD covers up for DVDs not yet on the site. The good news is that like Evil Angel, Elegant Angel seems to put new titles up pretty quick.

I hope that is the case. I try to avoid having to use VOD sites for obvious reasons but in some cases I just can't wait to see a particular scene. They seem to have put the "Lexi" title up pretty quick so I'm hoping for the same with BWA 22. My fingers are crossed!

I’ve been a big fan of Elegant Angel studio for as long as I can remember. I think that the only other studios that surpass them in my view are Evil Angel and Kink.com. This is my first time joining the site though. I’ve learned my lesson not to write a review until I get a full sense of what the site offers and have actually watched a lot of what I downloaded. Had I written this review earlier I would have scored it lower and complained a lot more. As it stands now, I really like this site and I’m glad I joined.
Elegant Angel offers a wide variety of porn, ranging from rough anal and gangbangs to g/g to almost softcore. That’s great for some, but I realize that for others that may be a drawback. I, for example, have no interest in large breasts so I left all of those alone. There are some consistencies though: EA uses A-list porn models and has some of the highest production values in the business.
I’ll get one complaint out of the way immediately: Elegant Angel DVDs are widely available on other sites (Videobox has an EA ‘channel’ for example). This can create a bit of a problem for active porn collectors since there is a lot of overlap available on the internet. The problem is that to get the widest selection of EA DVDs you need to join multiple sites. As a customer I’d obviously prefer to be able to join one site and get everything, but I also realize that Elegant isn’t the only studio that does this. Evil Angel and Jules Jordan are two other examples that require you to join more than one site to access more of their catalogues. At least in this case the TBP / PU discount helps.
The site currently has 390 DVDs available. The good news is that there is a mix of older titles and new releases. The bad news is that since EA has a huge back catalogue this site really should be much larger. The site updates regularly with a new DVD being added every six days.
The biggest improvement to the site occurred in March 2010 when they began offering 720p and 1080p files. All new uploads include these options and currently about 30% of the site was added after that date and are available in HD.
Older titles have limited download options. The site claims to offer 720x408 but Media Info says they’re actually 640x480 at 1500kb/s and 30 fps. The format is mp4. There is a lower resolution available too. I’m not going to fault the site for these low resolutions on their older titles because I’m sure the original quality isn’t that great to begin with and it is still great to have access to them.
New titles are offered with more download options. There is a mobile resolution at 320x180, an H264 at 720x408, a 720p at 1280x720 and a 1080p at 1920x1080. Those are all in mp4 format. I usually opted for the 720p as a good compromise for drive space and quality. Those come in at true 1280x720 at 3500kb/s and 30fps. Subjectively they look great. On a few choice scenes I went for the 1080. The resolution is as advertised and they play at 8100kb/s and 30fps. Visually I don’t see a lot of difference between the 720 and 1080 but I won’t make a definite call on that as I haven’t tried either on my 50” TV yet.
The site allows download managers and the links have a reasonable time-out. My guess is that your links will be live for at least a half hour.
This is really getting picky, but for some reason EA opts to not put all the scenes up in the DVDs. I don’t know how often that occurs – maybe it is really infrequent – but it was definitely noticeable in the one DVD that I joined to get access to: Lexi. That’s the recent DVD with Lexi Belle’s first anal scene. The anal scene is there, but the site doesn’t have the first scene in the movie with Lexi, Riley Reid and Michael Stefano. I may have wanted this title for the anal scene, but the b/g/g scene is actually my favourite and it irks me that it isn’t posted. The DVD was uploaded in early October so I think it’s safe to assume that they won’t be adding it now. If anyone has any thoughts as to why they’d omit this I’d appreciate hearing from you.
Since I’m being picky I’ll also point out that the file names don’t give any clue to the star or DVD. If you’re like me and fussy about cataloguing your collection you’ll need to change the names of the files as you download.
The site has flaws (it should be much bigger, some overlap with other EA material on other pay sites, non-specific file names) but those are minor when you consider the value of the site. If you like the style of porn here this is an excellent site and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. This site is now officially on my list of sites to rejoin over and over. |

Thanks pat. I can live with that. I was worried that it might be months before a DVD got posted. Although with the buzz around Lexi's anal scene there are pros and cons for them putting it on their site. The pros are that it will drive memberships for a while, but the cons are that it might divert DVD sales. I'm still surprised at how healthy the porn DVD market seems to be. A lot of guys still seem to avoid porn pay sites - but then just having my credit card deactivated due to fraud might indicate the reason that some stay away.
As for Lexi's anal scene, I suspect I'll have to watch it on a VOD site first anyway.
I've also read that Jenni Lee did an anal scene. Brazzers, I think...

Thanks for the informative review. It isn't a question of if I'll join this site, but when. I've had some questions about the site and your review has answered a lot of them. I'm surprised that the site is this small given the huge amount of porn that Elegant Angel could upload. That's a bit of a disappointment to hear.
Do you have any idea of how long the time is between a street release and the DVD being uploaded? Their new title "Lexi" is due out soon and as it contains Lexi Belle's first anal scene I'm looking forward to seeing that. I suspect that I'll wait to join until they upload that. But I suppose they could never upload it or do so a year from now. And from what you say, just because the DVD is in the preview section doesn't mean it is on the site.
After a few really bad site membership choices lately I need a good one.

One possibility is that it will probably be out on VOD before it gets onto a DRM-free site so we can at least rent a VOD for a couple of days to see the scene. I know a lot of people don't like VOD sites, but for times like this they can work well.

I was just noticing that Tanner did an anal scene for Elegant Angel earlier this year that still isn't on their website, so it probably doesn't bode well for seeing Lexi's anal movie there soon after it gets released. Probably the same can be said for the other scenes you note. Unlike Evil Angel who post new movies soon after they hit the streets, it seems that Elegant Angel has a different plan to milk DVD and VOD sales first.
