Great review, sir.
Like you, I'm a big Butt Man fan. John Stagliano is one of the directors who invented gonzo porn but he was also able to produce some great features. "Butt Man's Wet Dream," as an example of his gonzo work, is still one of my all-time favourite movies. The scene with Heather St. Claire, Tom Byron and Steven St. Croix is probably in my top ten favourite scenes. While I'm not a big fan of feature porn, Stagliano's "Wild Goose Chase" is one of the best in the genre. The story is great (Joey Silvera is great in his role) and the sex is hot. I don't like feature porn mostly because so few attempts get both a good story and hot sex.
As you obviously know, Buttman has taken a different approach these days with his "Stretch Class" series. At first I wasn't a fan, but after watching some of it I became a convert and download whatever I can buy.
I'm also a big Mike Adriano fan, but I can see why some people don't like his stuff. But I also think that he and Stagliano can't really be compared since what they do is so different.

I recall reading a recent post at Adult DVD Talk from the producer of the stretch class series. I don't remember a lot of details, but I do recall that he seemed to think that he had just invented something cool and game-changing like a jet pack or something. It seems that this may be the 'new' Buttman for a while.
Don't get me wrong though, while I do wish that Stagliano would do more than this series I am quite content to watch a lovely young lady stick things in her bum for hours on end. The only thing that could make the concept better is if it started out as a women's beach volleyball game that turned into wall-to-wall bum insertions.

I find that I generally don't rely on a raw number score that a lot of sites give, including TBP and our own reviews here. With TBP and the detailed reviews here I much prefer an explanation about the site. I figure that I might score a site low just because I don't like a particular niche but another PU member might score it high because they do like that niche. I try to remain objective in assigning a score. I've reviewed sites that I really didn't like but that had high-quality videos and pictures, decent download speeds and were well laid out. I still scored them high because they were good sites regardless of the fact that I didn't personally like the material.
And I agree - PU is a great place to hang out. This is probably among the most civil user-driven sites on the internet!

I've been a member at Teasers VOD twice and highly recommend them. For me I prefer certain elements in public nudity: 1) stars I know, 2) U.S. settings and 3) not too much editing. The reason for 2 and 3 is because I think a huge part of the allure for these sites is how nervous the model is, and a model in Budapest is likely to be less nervous than a model in Los Angeles just because in the U.S. the risks are higher. Teasers has all three of these elements. But there is one warning - if you want to join Teasers I recommend that you do it soon. They've stopped updating due to a cease-and-desist order from the City of Los Angeles. There is still a lot of material though that makes the $30 fee an excellent value. Part of the reason I recommend joing now is that another site, Nude in L.A., shut down completely. That site had my #1 and 2 requirements but the shoots were edited in such a way that the nervousness was gone so the shoots lost a lot of 'heat.'
Another choice is ALS Scan. They haven't done any public nudity stuff in several years, and admittedly they did shoot that in Europe, but some of the shoots are great. I especially like the shoot with Ashley Bulgari - she is SO nervous. It's a fun shoot to watch. ALS Scan isn't a public nudity site, so I wouldn't suggest that you join just for the public stuff, but ALS Scan is one of the best porn sites on the 'net so the public stuff is just icing on the cake.
Public Flash is also good, It has my #1 and 2 preferences but can be a little more tame with usually just flashing rather than full nudity.
FTV Girls usually has some public stuff in each scene, and some of them can be pretty daring, but they're usually more tame than Teasers.
There's also Public Disgrace. This site is in a league of its own in combining BDSM, public nudity and public sex. If you're looking for degradation and humiliation (but with full consent) along with the public nudity I'd definitely try this one.
I've reviewed all of the sites I've recommended so you can get more details there. I've also reviewed a few I didn't like too so that may be of some use to you too.

Thanks for the comments, gaypornlover. This was clearly my own fault given that there weren't many positive comments about the site from anyone. I got burned, but I don't feel too bad since I knew that I was likely to get burned. I had a recent experience where I signed up for a site expecting to be able to download scenes and learned it was streaming only. That site, including the Terms of Service, was pretty vague so I did feel cheated there.
I'd guess that a serious disadvantage that you have, as one of the few gay PU members, is that you're breaking the trail more than the rest of us. For most of the sites I've joined some other PU member has likely been there before. I probably haven't said this loudly enough, but I'm glad you stick around and contribute as much as you do. I may not have any personal interest in the sites you review (but I always read them!), but I am interested in your perspective and you write excellent reviews that will form a great basis for new gay members as they join PU.

Lately I’ve had a thing for ‘casting’ sites and have been joining anything that looks decent. A week ago that led me to this site. And in case you’re wondering, yes, I know that these are staged, but they’re staged so well that a viewer can get lost in the fantasy.
The site dates back to just over a year ago and not much has changed in the way the scenes are shot except for the location being much more upscale in newer scenes. The scenes follow a set formula and rarely deviate from that. Girl walks in, presents her ID, is interviewed, stands and undresses, girl poses nude and fingers herself a bit on the couch, guy standing/girl kneeling blowjob, occasionally becomes guy sitting on couch / girl kneeling blowjob (in some rare scenes with rimming), sex starts with girl standing bent over desk, girl on back on desk, guy laying on back on couch with girl riding, then switch back to girl on knees oral with a damn good facial. Most of the scenes stick pretty close to that formula. Some may find that repetitive, and it is, but it’s saved by the hot female models.
You could argue that even the models are formulaic in that they are all in their late teens or early twenties, all are petite (but not skinny) and all but a few have B or C cup breasts. Given the age group, tattoos and piercings are common but not overwhelming. Most of the models are new to me, though I did recognize a few faces that I have seen before. To say that all the models are good looking is either an understatement or an exaggeration depending on your preference. I say the former, but if you prefer larger or older models, then this site may not be for you.
The site has a very simple layout that is easy to use. On each page there are 12 scenes shown by a large thumbnail with the model’s name and the date of the upload. There are currently 74 scenes uploaded and it appears that a new scene is added every six days. Each scene is approximately 50 mins long.
Opening that thumbnail brings you to a page to access the scene. I’m a big fan of HD material and always download it when it is available, so it may seem odd for me to complain that there aren’t many download options. The choice is HD in MPG or WMV and an MP4 in 750x422. File sizes for the HD files averages 3GB, so this might not work for members with slower internet speeds. I downloaded the WMV version and all of those came in at 1920x1280, 9000kb/s and 29fps. Subjectively, they aren’t bad, but they aren’t the best I’ve seen either. The MP4s look pretty good so they may be a good compromise for slower connections. Still, more choices are better.
One problem I had that may be unique to me is that the MPG files stuttered badly. I tried multiple scenes on two computers and used two players and had the same result each time. This may not happen to you, but before you download a lot in MPG you should test them on your computer.
Photos and screencaps are available too. The photos are 1500x1000 and the screencaps are 1920x1280. The big difference is that the screencaps aren’t available as zips.
The site does support download managers, but the links time out after about 10 mins. Given the file sizes this means that lining up more than three scenes probably won’t work. Also, prepare to rename each file before you download it – they all use the same generic, meaningless name.
One annoyance that I can live with is the number of ads on the site. I don’t mind ads if they help keep the site going, but I had one big problem here. Given that the site is affiliated with BangBros, and BB has a reputation for some pretty unethical subscription and billing practices, I avoided even going near the ads for sites I otherwise might be interested in for fear of getting burned with an unwanted subscription.
I realize that not everyone will share my opinion on this, but I was disappointed to find only three anal scenes on the site. Many other ‘casting’ sites have a lot of anal because the genre lends itself to that sex act. “But honey, the big money is in anal…” This actually leads me to another problem that may not be a problem, and that’s that there are no tags or meaningful ways to sort the scenes. Why this really isn’t a problem is that with each scene closely following a formula tags are probably unnecessary: look at the model. Do you like her? If yes, you know exactly what she’ll be doing in the scene so download it.
The pros far outweigh the cons here when you consider the merits of the site. You have access to over 60 hours of HD porn at a discounted price. The scenes all have some hot, young and fresh models. The production values are high and the scenes all look great. What more could you ask for? I definitely recommend this site. |

There is a thread on another adult video site that seems to have been started by Bang Bros itself where they ask members to give them suggestions as to how to improve their site. I haven't read anything on the thread in a while but when I last read it there were maybe ten pages of comments and I was really surprised to see that not one reply mentioned their questionable billing practices. I've said this before, but with a network this large and the porn this good I wonder why they have these kinds of practices. I'm sure a fairly high percentage of PU members have their own stories of BB scams. I know I do...

I’m not usually a big fan of solo girl sites, but I’ve always liked other models that I’ve seen from Quebec so I thought I’d give this a try. Cherry Petite is a beautiful young brunette model. She’s petite too, as the name would suggest. She’s done some mainstream stuff under the name Cherry Potter too. She has one scene on Videobox under the name Sherry Potter.
The most recent of her videos seem to be a lot more tame than the ones she posted back when she first started her website. The later videos are mostly just a bit of tease and some masturbation as she lies on a bed. The camera is on a tripod so there is not much variety in the shots. Personally, I find these videos a bit boring and repetitive. As you work your way back into the older videos they certainly get more daring. I was pleasantly surprised to see some girl/girls play and some hardcore boy/girl scenes, some with just oral, some with vaginal sex. There is no anal. There are also some videos that can be classified as public nudity or exhibitionism. These and the hardcore scenes make this a much better site than if all she had were softcore videos. There are 89 videos on the site of varying length. The last video update was in October, 2008. The videos are 720x480 resolution. There is a lower resolution available but I didn’t try that. The download speeds were better than I have seen at other similar sites. If I was downloading only one file I would see speeds between 1.2 and 1.5 MB/sec.
There are pictures too. I’m not big into pictures but I would probably have downloaded all of them since I really like Cherry’s look. But there is a major flaw on the site: there is no option to download a zip. There are 49 photo sets of varying sizes. The last photo set update was in June 2007.
Obviously the site isn’t updating any more. IAFD lists Cherry as having left the business in 2007.
So is Cherry Petite worth the membership? If you like her look, then it is. 89 videos and 49 photo sets isn’t a small site for a solo model. There is enough variety in the videos and photos to keep it interesting. What makes it a great value though is that it offers a full trial for two days at $2.95. The site is small enough that you could easily download the stuff you want in two days. I cancelled my trial membership early to ensure that I’d have no problems doing so and the membership stayed active until the end of the two days. One problem to note is that there is a pre-checked cross-sell on the sign-up page. I missed it. Don’t make the same mistake because it took me over an hour to cancel that to avoid a full membership being triggered. |
