100% agree. I'm a huge fan of their stuff and join their sites regularly. My advice to anyone joining is to keep your confirmation email because it will tell you which of the sites you need to go to to cancel. That's important because there are several and getting it wrong might cost you a recurring charge.

I agree. I make sure to save the confirmation email because they have three or four billing sites, and of course you have to provide a lot of information and a capcha to cancel. I think they purposely make it hard to cancel.

I agree that this is high quality. But be careful accepting the same offer to join one of the sites I mentioned in my comment because I think those are identical sites that just look different. The issue would be some duplication but 100% duplication and therefore a waste of money.
I use their $5 offers a lot too. They're great value. Many of their sites offer a cheaper trial though and if all you're doing is dropping in to get a few recent movies that could be the better option.

Yeah, I don't know why I took so long to join AT. I think it's that my tastes have changed over the past few years and I often find these mega sites to be a bit overwhelming. But, since this is Gamma Entertainment and I like a lot of their stuff this is a bit different.
I don't think I'll keep a recurring membership but I may rejoin occasionally to see if there is anything that interests me. Otherwise, for me the better value is joining the Gamma sites that I really like, like Evil Angel.
Question - someone else mentioned that their AT membership had an Evil Angel channel. Does yours? Mine definitely doesn't include EA. If it did that might change things for me.

I’m probably among the last of the PU regulars to join Adult Time. For those who don’t know what AT is, it’s a collection of Gamma Entertainment sites (called channels here) that would normally be separate memberships but they’re all gathered in this one mega site with a low monthly price. The only drawback is that most of the channels only offer a limited number of videos so if you are really into a specific niche or site then you’ll still have to join that site to get everything.
It isn’t easy describing what is available here because the site is so large and offers scenes in vastly different niches as girl/girl and BDSM. But unless you have an interest that is well out of the mainstream then you’re apt to find lots to like here at AT.
The site is a good mix of American and European models. It’s also a good mix of newer and older scenes so if you’re looking for some ‘classics’ you may find them here.
One common factor is that since these are all Gamma sites or affiliates then you can be assured that the production values are high.
It appears that the AT landscape is constantly changing. In one recent review the site had more than 50,000 scenes available and as of today it is showing just less than that. Not that a few videos being dropped will be a big deal on a site this size. Another review noted that he has access to an Evil Angel channel. I didn’t have that.
I’m not entirely convinced that the video count is accurate either, though with a site this large it likely doesn’t matter anyway. The reason I question the count is that I noted that some scenes were on multiple channels. I don’t know if each place on the site counts as a separate video or not.
Because the scenes come from various sites and also vary in age (some of the scenes feature models who retired long ago) the download options vary. It’s fair to say, however, that all the scenes do have some options. Even in downloading some older scenes I was still able to get those as 720p. Many of the newer scenes are available up to 4K. The file sizes here seem a bit smaller than I’m used to seeing on main Gamma sites. I wonder if they’ve been scaled back a bit to keep bandwidth costs down.
I found download speeds to be fast and I had no issues using a download manager. I didn’t encounter any limits or throttling of speeds.
The site uses tags and has a search function but I found the better approach for me was to go into each channel that I had an interest in. Other reviewers have reported issues with the search function not working well and some of the tags being incorrect. I suspect this is a result of the site simply being so large.
Perhaps the biggest drawback with AT applies to serious collectors. For those of us who join a lot of sites a lot of what is available here will be duplicates. An issue I found is that there were scenes on some channels that are uploaded under a different scene name from what was used on the main site. As such, I know I downloaded scenes from AT that I already have in my collection from prior memberships at other Gamma sites. But, even with this as an issue for serious collectors I fully admit that I was able to access videos from sites that I likely wouldn’t have joined separately. I’m not a big fan of lesbian porn but I like some of it. The membership to AT allowed me to get some Girlsway scenes, for example, that I otherwise wouldn’t have had a chance to get since I’d likely not join that specific site.
The bottom line is that this is an excellent network that offers access to a sampling of some of the best porn sites available today. For someone just dabbling in porn collecting it would be hard to go wrong with a membership here. The site offers an excellent value – probably one of the best available today. I think the value is somewhat less for serious collectors but even for us the site is well worth a membership. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn’t joined Adult Time yet should check it out. I won’t keep a recurring membership and likely won’t join often but for most people this could be the one site to join and stay with for a while. |

Thanks for this review. I had a membership here several months ago but that was when it was still not advertised so I wasn't even aware that I had it. I had joined one of the sites that makes up Adult Time and was given access to the entire network. To be honest, I thought it was a screw-up that I had been given such broad access. I expected the error to be corrected at any time, or worse, I expected some huge charge on my card. Because I thought this was an error I didn't use much of it and was left with a lot of questions. Your review answers some of those.
And I agree with you that this is something the porn collecting community has be dreaming of for a while. I hope it's profitable and I hope it draws some people away from the tube sites.

It sounds like we're on the same page with these sites. Yes, they have big flaws, namely no downloading or downloading with DRM (and a high price tag), but if the choice is not seeing a title that I want to see versus streaming it at a VOD site then the choice is easy for me. Of course I always check a title on Videobox to see if they have it first because that's a better deal.

Excellent review. Most PU members don't seem to like VOD / PPM sites, and, as you note, there's a good reason for that: the cost can be high. I'm in my second month of a Super Pass membership here and while there are a lot of titles that aren't very good, with 8000+ videos on the SP channel there is still a lot to keep me around. I regularly use several VOD / PPM sites and I agree with you when you point out the size of AEBN. I'm sure it is bigger than several of their competitors combined.
My experience with the search function wasn't as positive as yours. I found it was pretty much useless.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only AEBN fan here.

I've never streamed from VB, but if their streaming is as good as their downloads I have no reason to think it isn't great. My recollection is that they have several streaming quality options too. My suggestion, though, is that if you have the harddrive space why not download? The ability to stream will end with your membership but the downloads at VB have no DRM so they're yours forever. I realize that many people have various reasons for wanting to stream but consider downloads from there since they're available for the same membership price.

Thanks for the comment. I have a love/hate relationship with VOD sites. I prefer downloading but that can be very expensive, but VOD sites have allowed me to watch some titles from my early days as a porn user. Depending on how much you watch one of the channels may be a good value for you.

I think in a lot of cases using that option would make sense. Obviously a lot of that is subjective in the sense of how many times will you stream it again. If the option is the $2 48-hour streaming or $5 48-hour streaming that would have some impact. This is also a bit subjective, but I think there's a lot of objectivity too - that's considering the bitrate options available to you. A lot of the $2 rentals are older and offer a maximum of a 512k bitrate. That's pretty low quality. I accepted that so I could see a few older titles that I wanted to see, but the quality is so poor I'm not sure I'd go back to watch it again. But... if it's a movie you'd watch again and again and there are higher bitrates available then I think that could be a good option.
As I said in my review though, make sure to check the other main VOD sites for the same title. You might be able to get a better quality video for less cost at one of the others. In case you're not familiar with the other VOD sites, some of the bigger ones that you should check are Adult DVD Empire, Adultempire.com, HotMovies, DownloadtoOwn, Gamelink and Sugar VOD. (Two things about Adult DVD Empire and Adultempire.com: 1) they're affiliated but make sure to check them both because they have different pricing structures, and 2) there is a disreputable site called Adult Empire. Make sure you're on the VOD site. Entering Adultempire.com in your browser should get you to the right site.)

As much as I regret what I have to spend on these sites, it does give me access to some older titles that I want to see. The "channel" idea really cuts down on the cost, and with 8000 titles on the channel I subscribed to it will probably be a good value.

I know a lot of members here have a strong negative reaction to VOD sites, and I share all of the same concerns. Building a video collection using just VOD sites would be incredibly expensive when compared to DVD sites like Videobox, but when used as a supplement to DVD sites, VOD sites like AEBN can work well. If you’re a serious collector, like many members here are, VOD sites are a useful way to see some titles that aren’t available elsewhere. I’ve been using AEBN for several years but hadn’t actually bought anything from them in probably 12 months, until a week ago when I rediscovered them.
So why would you choose AEBN over another VOD site? The primary reason would be selection: AEBN has studios and titles that are unavailable on other sites. An example of this is that AEBN continues to offer a wide array of Max Hardcore titles when other sites have dropped him. The fact that they still carry Max indicates how broad their collection is.
The site has a good search function using star, title or many other keywords. I also like being able to sort by studio because there are several studios that I really like so it gives me a chance to see some titles that I might have not otherwise known about.
The site is pretty simple once you find a title you want to see or buy. Clicking on that DVD brings you to a page with all the streaming and purchase options available. In most cases you can stream a movie for either 48 hours or for life. In most cases the ‘for life’ option costs $10 and the 48 hours costs $5, though there are many titles that you can stream for $2. In most cases there is also an opportunity to ‘buy’ a DRM-free download of the title. The price for that us usually $25. Yes, that is expensive, but it is the cost of the DVD and if it’s a must-have title for you it may be a viable option. I certainly wouldn’t complain if they lowered the price though. Some titles offer a download rental that is DRM protected and expires after the allotted time.
Once you select and pay for your access you get access immediately. There are other VOD sites that can take several minutes for your title to be available. Not so here. There are options for streaming quality so you can choose based on your internet connection. Bitrates of 56k, 225k, 512k, 1024k, 2048k, 4000k and 6000k are often available. I generally use 2048k and find that it is smooth and looks good. Streaming can be through Windows Media Player (which I use) and Silverlight. I didn’t try the latter one so I can’t comment on it.
The download option gives you the technical specs on the file before you buy so you can make an informed decision. You can see the size of the file and the bitrate so you can gauge the quality. In most cases there are no download options, which seems a bit puzzling to me.
One flaw in the streaming is that some titles will only stream at a maximum of 512k. In 2012 that just isn’t good enough. That seems to be mostly with older titles. Fortunately newer titles have better options.
The thing about AEBN that appears to be relatively new and may be a game-changer in the VOD world is the ability to buy a membership to a “channel” that gives you unlimited streaming. I subscribed to the channel called “Super Pass” which is the largest selection of all the channels. There is a 1-day trial for $1 that then recurs at $20 for a month of access. That’s the good news. The bad news is that not all titles are available on the channel, and a lot of what is available isn’t mainstream porn. Some of it looks pretty interesting and I’ll be there for at least a month, but you won’t find many of the major studios available. Currently there are just shy of 8000 titles available on the Super Pass channel.
The channel is great for people who prefer streaming, but for a guy like me who prefers downloads it can be a bit frustrating. The same streaming options (see above) are usually available on the channel.
There are two other channels available: Vivid and West Coast Productions. If you’re a Vivid fan, my recommendation is that you carefully compare the value of the AEBN channel with the value of the Vivid channel at Videobox.
I’m not going to weigh in on whether or not I’d recommend this site because it isn’t a traditional membership based site. What I would recommend is that you spent some time browsing there because it may cause you to rethink any notions you have about VOD sites. And the “all you can eat” option really does change the value equation.
One last caveat when using any VOD site is to check the other main VOD sites for that same title. You might find another site offering the title in the same quality for less. It pays to shop around. You should also check the DVD sites like Videobox because you may find what you want there. It all comes down to how you perceive the value for yourself. |

Personally, and I realize your take is different, I'm okay with the size of the site for the price, especially since I like Mike's work. But, there is a bigger reason you may want to think about this and wait. Mike has four sites and even though he's using other male talent these days in some scenes he obviously didn't have a big backlog of scenes to rely on when the pandemic hit. As such, he's recycling a lot of scenes among his sites.
But... this could also be a benefit to you. Check out his sites and you'll find that you'll get access to other material on them.

While I’m sure most regular readers on this site will know who Mike Adriano is I’ll give a bit of background. Mike is a prolific director and actor who has been in the business since 2006. He got his start on some popular sites as an actor but eventually became a recognized director and he was with Evil Angel for a long time. Mike has since expanded into running his own sites, each with a particular emphasis on some sex act. But it is also fair to say that Mike’s most common theme in all his scenes is anal play and anal sex. Currently Mike has four sites on the go. There’s Nympho which features vaginal sex only, there’s Swallowed which is all oral, True Anal which features anal sex and now there’s All Anal, which features B/G/G anal sex.
Since Mike is so well known in the business he can bring in the biggest names so on any of his sites you’ll see only A-list models. Mike also gets some models to lose their anal virginity on his sites but so far there are no ‘first anals’ on All Anal.
Mike’s scenes tend to follow a formula and it’s no different here. The scenes start with the two models in lingerie and a few interview questions. Then the models slip out of most of their clothes and do a brief bit of girl/girl stuff with the focus on the asses. There is a lot of girl-on-girl rimming. Then Mike jumps into the fray and licks some ass as well. The scenes then move to oral on Mike with both girls getting in on the blowjob. Mike also shoots a lot of girl-on-guy rimming and while there is some of it here there is less of it than on his other sites. After that the anal sex starts and there is lots of ass-to-mouth and usually some ass-to-other-girl’s-mouth too. In some of the scenes only one model is doing anal while the other model will be doing oral only. Lately Mike seems to have an oil fetish and that’s on display here too with copious amounts of oil being poured on to the model’s asses. Mike’s also into gaping so you’ll see lots of that too and some gape licking as well.
The site is currently small with 15 scenes available. There is a new scene added every five days so it won’t take the site long to grow.
The scenes are available for streaming (in one resolution) and download in four resolutions (1920x1080 – 12000kb/s, 1920x1080 – 5000, 1280x720 – 1500 and 640x360 – 500). The framerate on all of the resolutions are 30fps. I downloaded the 1080p scenes with 5000kb/s and they look great.
I wouldn’t consider any of Mike’s sites to be picture sites but I think photo collectors will also be happy on this site. Each scene has screenshots available as downloads or zips and on the scenes I checked the zips gets you around 1000 photos. The resolution is 3000x1688.
I had no issues using a download manager to queue the scenes and I found the download speeds fast and on par with what I see at other major sites.
The site bills through Customercare.co and my preference would be another biller. While I’ve never had any problems dealing with this biller I would prefer the option of self-serve cancellation as with CCBill or Epoch. With this biller you need to send them an email or use online chat.
While this may be a subjective complaint I wonder if Mike isn’t spreading himself a bit thin by having four sites with regular updates. In an unusual move he has been bringing in some other male talent to be in the scenes. When you combine the updates for all his sites Mike has to be filming at least five days per week. The problem with that is that Mike’s cumshots aren’t great and some even appear to be faked. That isn’t necessarily a criticism but it’s just a fact that he may not be getting the time needed to recharge. (Contrast this with Bryan Gozzling who owns Hookup Hotshot. Gozzling uploads one scene a week and usually leaves the model with a facial that would make Peter North proud.)
The other minor issue that some readers may have (and which I mentioned above) is that Mike’s scenes all pretty much follow the same formula. Personally I don’t find this to be an issue as I happen to like the formula but I can certainly understand that not everyone will have the same opinion.
If you’re a fan of Mike Adriano’s or if you just like scenes with ass worshipping, ass play and anal sex then this is definitely a site you should consider. The scenes are all well shot and all feature some of the top models in the business. The website itself is logical and easy to use. The final icing on the cake is the TBP/PU discount which makes the site a good value even as it continues to grow. So if you’re an ass addict like me I definitely recommend this site. |
