I have nothing but praise for Videobox. One could say this is biased, but one would be wrong. There truely is little that can be faulted with this site.
The pricing is superb, made even better thanks to the offer on TBP, 5 new DVDs added daily is more than anyone would physically buy, and the content truely is DVD quality (assuming you pay for the premium membership).
I couldn't not mention how awesome the website is in my comment. In terms of appearance and navigation, features and usability it's in a league of it's own. One can literally download exactly what they want. Perhaps a certain 5 minute snippet out of a 30 minute scene. The site will serve the download in seconds.
Perhaps the only negative thing about the site is that some categories have lots of content, whereas others don't have much, and aren't frequently updated..... but when you take into account what is actually available, it's a website that you should definately allow your rebills to happen on as you'll be a member for a long time!

Like most reviewers here, I really like Videobox and have a current membership with them. In the future for them to include male stars in their search engine. Brainpass does this to a good degree and I'm able to find what I want rather quickly.
Hi all. Just wondering if anyone could give me more info on the quality of videobox. I understand their earlier movies are only average quality and some look stretched whereas the newer ones are much better looking. Is that right? What resolution are the movies?

The best site I have found on the net. A new DVD available every 5 hours, a huge back catalogue, and it satisfies every niche. Download speeds over 4 meg broadband is excellent, among the fastest I have ever encountered. The only site I keep a subscription too, I guarantee this site is top notch!
Videobox has the best user interface of any site I've used. It allows you to choose exactly which part or parts of a film you want through a drag and drop method via thumbnails of the movie. The price is outstanding.
But (there had to be one) having been a member for some time the videos are often dull. Maybe it's just because I find a lot of American porn plastic and uninteresting, the worst examples being so-called lesbian films. I can only stomach just so many bleach-blondes with talons for fingernails going through the motions. European films, at least to me, are simply better and more genuinely hardcore. There are too few niche fetishes for my liking as well. I'm proud to have kinks. I'd like to indulge them.
Videobox deserves the high praise it receives but I wish it would look wider for its content.
I've been with VideoBox for 4 to 5 months and everything is good and getting better. The speed is consistently 580Kbps for me, day or night. They used to encode the high-quality version of the DVDs at 720x480, which made the video look somewhat stretched, but now they have corrected it to 640x480 on new releases. FPS is 23.97, which is strange but workable. 5 new DVDs every day is better than anything else out there. Some good, some not so good, but there is lots of content.
You can edit the scene(s) to download right online. You can get the whole scene with one click, or any portion of a scene using their drag-and-drop scene editing interface. Pick the start and stop points from the provided thumbnails, and download your edited clip. This is great for downloading a "Trailer" first, to see if you like it and want to spend the time downloading the whole scene, or whole DVD.
My only complaint would be the Lesbian and Solo (Masturbation) categories. Out of 2300 DVDs there is only about 90 in Lesbian and about 50 in Masturbation categories. But if you like lots of Gonzo, One-on-One, Straight, Hardcore, Anal, and Features, VideoBox is a good choice and a great deal for the money. It's #1 in the DVD Category for sure.
Videobox have a great amount of videos but the quality is not great. If your're looking for high resolution and quality videos you have better places to spend your money. Also you can't find very beautiful models as in other sites like Sapphic erotica, MCN nudes, My sexy Kittens or FTV girls. The video secuences are always the same and easily bore me... The download speed is also terrible!
I subscribed a month ago and, from the start, I was not able to download anything easily. The speeds were extremely slow ( less than 1kB/s most times) and disconnected often.
There were no responses to my queries for help by the site administrators; the billing agency will not offer any refunds and cancelled my subscription.
I am not a satisfied user and will not recommend this site.
Just a heads up, and this is actually old news to me, but if anyone enjoys the squirting niche, under "Popular Stars" check out Cytherea. Honestly, it couldn't be anymore right.
I joined this site on BestPorn's recommendation, but maybe it's my eyes or my software -although all my media players codecs etc are up to date - but I found all the videos rather "jerky".
Using a video analysis tool, it appears that all the videos have been recoded from NTSC to PAL. As a result 5 frames appear to be missing from every second of all their videos ! You see the original DVD's from which they are ripped - were in NTSC - 29.9 fps. But the resulting wmv's are 25 fps. Go figure. It may explain why they were able to offer the site so cheaply ? But they seem to be doing the same with the "newer" higher-def versions - so I guess the people transcoding the originals are still doing it the same way - one question to them - why ? !
For me however, they just ain't smooth - I have had no such problems with videos from any other site - so I cancelled my membership and that was that!
What I don't get is why just about every site on the web prases Videobox so highly. Maybe it is my eyes ?? !! - I'm off to the opthalmist - just in case !
