Thanks for mentioning this. I'll look around and see if I can find a deal. Obviously I've avoided joining Naughty America since they started messing with their memberships so now might be the time to rejoin. It baffles me why in a time when piracy is rampant and causing huge losses a site would fuck over the few people still willing to pay for porn.

The reason is: I paid for a Sinemia membership for 1 year with a Discover card.
I was supposed to get 3 movie tickets per month for 1 year.
I tried using the cell phone app to get tickets, was never able to get a single movie ticket.
I disputed the charge to Discover.
Told Discover I was never able to get a single movie ticket after trying many times.
When Discover told Sinemia I was disputing the charge, Sinemia suspended my membership. When I tried logging in to the Sinemia app, I got the message: Access denied!
Discover ruled against me, twice: Discover told me the merchant stated:
" The merchant is willing and able to provide service. They state that users can use the app to purchase tickets while they are waiting for the physical card to be delivered?"
I sent Discover the email from Sinemia stating that my membership was suspended. And I told Discover many times that I was never able to get a single movie ticket, after paying $179.88 for the membership plan.
But Discover ruled twice, that the transaction was valid.
Discover did give me a $50 credit on the transaction, so I lost $130 on the membership.
I was surprised Discover ruled the transaction was valid, after I kept repeating I never got a single movie ticket, and that my membership had been suspended, and I told Discover the Sinemia customer service ignored my requests for help getting movie tickets.
I was very disappointed in Discover. But they have the final say, unless I hire a lawyer, which makes no financial sense, for a $130 charge ($130 after the $50 credit from Discover).
So if you charge something on your credit card, it appears that the credit card company will treat it as a valid charge, even if you don't get what you paid for.
I'm not a lawyer, but I thought I had a strong case. But Discover told me, in writing, that the merchant was willing and able to provide service. (Even though I kept telling Discover I never got a single ticket, and that the merchant had suspended my membership. And I gave Discover proof my membership was suspended with the email from Sinemia.)

I'm sure that I'm not the only person pleased that their attempt at a new subscription model failed miserably. I predicted that it would last only as long as it took for the people who don't read porn forums to buy subscriptions and realize they got screwed.
Thanks for posting this update. I'll probably rejoin NA but I'll be sure to do so at the full price to get access to as much content as possible.

Scott used to do most of their PR, but more recently it's been the owner. And yeah, he's not as tactful. Still, there's really no way to spin this and make anyone feel good about it no matter who was out front.

Years ago, I used to watch the live cam shows at Met-Art, which were free. Many of the girls were friendly. But Met-Art stopped those shows, and later put out a--I don't know what you call it--live cam offering that was very different from its first effort, and I stopped watching them, or never really got started watching them, because they were very different from the original live chat shows.
I never got into the paid chat shows, because like you said, they can get very expensive.

Thanks for the additional info. Makes sense what you say: lately, I got the impression from the schedule in the free section that some stars were coming a couple times a week. Guess they were the ones more available to come as replacement. Since Naughty America headquarters are in San Diego and most adult models are from Los Angeles, coming to NA Live had to be a full day job.

I got a similar offer but I didn't get burned but I can appreciate the fact that once burned twice cautious. I'm actually curious about their special offer. I'm wondering if they aren't feeling the recession pinch alittle more these days. I've noticed that their most recent updates aren't all that great.

Aw, don't mind me, Pink Panther. I just have such a visceral reaction every time I see fake boobs that I start spouting off. I, for one, could never kiss anything with an implanted bag underneath the skin unless it was reconstructive surgery after breast cancer.
The models look so artificial, so like Barbies, that I honestly, truly, don't understand why there are so many boys drooling over their breasts. And I had forgotten that Naughty America does cater to that market, just like Brazzers, or I would never have subscribed just to see the live shows. I found them fascinating until I noticed that every model I watched so far (with the exception of one) had implants. No, I don't expect anyone to change that's why I'll keep this subscription down to one month instead of continuing it as I had first planned. In any case, to each his own.

I said a lot of positive things about NA, Pink Panther, because they richly deserve it. Technically they are excellent and I like the idea of live shows and most of the interviews with Lauren so I'm not sorry to be a member especially since the censorship issue turned out to be a technical glitch, but I am once again (this is my second subscription .. blame my short memory) disgusted with the prevalence of fake breasts and the fact that the models and Lauren (in the live show) seem to look at it as a positive thing when a model excitedly reveals that she just got new breasts.
Lauren practically gushes: Wow, they are beautiful! To me that's encouraging a very bad practice. One model actually stated that she got her boob job because she wanted to do titty fuck scenes and with smaller breasts she couldn't.
Leave breasts the way they are there's room for all kinds of diversity. To me, all of them are beautiful, large, small, medium, jutting or sagging! As long as they are natural. :-)

I agree on this. The set that intrigued me about Sandy is on ALS Angels, then when I saw her on Twistys, a bell went off on in my head that she would probably start slowing on her solo site. I've noticed that nearly all the successful solo girl sites are models who have already done lots of work on other sites before starting their own.

My tech team said this:
please have him check the 'resize' menu for the 'auto' option, it controls the resizing of the larger images to fit the screen. We turned it on by default in the new CMS, however one of the bug fixes this week was to revert that and turn it off by default like old nubiles.net where you had to turn it on

Yep, much better, PinkPanther. It was a temporary glitch, starting with my ISP as we found out when we did some tests together. Strangely enough, only a handful of sites were affected while the majority were all right. But that's the Internet, I guess.
