Back in '04 when TBP reviewed it, it was more of a pic site. Quality varied, but I got some decent stuff. But the vids were always short and uninspired, from what I saw, and pretty bad quality-wise. For the past several months, those vids is all they've been doing.
I think this one has really gone downhill, along with the partner site. I wonder how it happened??
One thing I do wish about this site: that they'd change the way the little popup pictures in the monthly calendars work. Just have them return to not showing when you've taken the mouse out of the space for them.
I'm trying to find things, and I CAN'T EVEN SEE what's on certain days for that pop-up picture sticking to my cursor like gum on a shoe.

I don't do a very good job of reviewing the video parts of these sites, do I? Anway, I did a fairly substantial revision of my remarks on the vids since I responded to your recent reply.

There's a lot of video there, but you have to do a separate, one-time login just to get to it. Then it's all arranged in these numbered collections, 315 of them to date. I just opened number 315 and found 24 vids, some lez, some solo, some hc.
Now I've looked through everything back to 285, and most of them ranged from 70 to over 160 MB in size. Each one has a four-frame photo preview. They offer WMV and Quicktime versions for each one.
The hardcore girls include some "household names," and some lesser knowns.
Well, I've just viewed a recent one of Claudia Adams. Not hi-def, but good quality for sure at my 1024x768 resolution. Hot sex, too. Baby's got back! 640x480.
Maybe I was a bit hard on the vids part in my review. They do still segment things, but the time of one segment can run over 10 minutes, enough for a memorable encounter.
I always worry about making recommendations that don't pan out for the other person, but considering how much you liked BikiniRiot, for the money this site's definitely worth it.

I just responded to jd1961's question about the photo content. Went at length, but the summary statement is, "Yes, the content is exclusive to MetModels."
As for the videos, they are boring. I've thought about this, having recently sampled some of the stuff at Hegre-Art, too, for my review of it.
Get a pair of people together and they can keep each other occupied, but a single model, along with the director, has to work out ways to keep the video interesting. Just lying around and turning this way and that, staring into space, etc. is boring!!! I've seen very few models who can maintain the turn-on. I must say that Evelyn Lory at her own site is a rare exception; she really does it for me. Helps that her ass is so worthy of devotion and zeal.
Anwyay, I think that a lot of effects like superimposing two stretches of video, transitions, and tight editing are done as a poor substitute for "continuous heat conduction."
To make me happy, the model has to be "videogenic," to coin a term (?) and do POV simulated sex, and the camera has to stay at the right places for good lengths of time. Most softcore solo vids never do such things; they jump around so much that it seems as if they're only good for inducing ADD -- if not ED. So for me at least, they've usually been a waste of time.
I was quite happy with the majority of the content. The videos were high quality and very large. Again, I was very pleased. I just wish that there were more videos.

I saw this recently with Mac & Bumble where they had a hot gallery up somewhere saying "click here for a free membership", then you had to put in your e-mail address, after which the next page said, "I'm sorry - this e-mail address is not eligible for a free membership, but we'll gladly have you as a paid member".
Needless to say, I didn't and wouldn't bite on that.

This is one of my favorite sites and I'd return more often if they had pics every day. In any case, I've got loads of on my hard drives. He's got some of the best stuff of Susana Spears, Laura Stevens, Marketa Belonoha, Mili Jay, etc. etc.
And I was really pleased to see Ellena (Amber at EGG) start showing up there. I read somewhere that she used to be a elementary school art teacher. I can hear the young lads asking their regular teacher, "When do we have ART class again?"
My score Denner is more based on photos because that is what I'm most interested in. A score based on videos might be lower because there aren't as many, although they are very high quality.
I'm very suprised with your views about our videos. The majority of the videos in the site right now are in 1mb & 2mb versions (480x360 & 640x480) - I certainly wouldn't say they are bad quality, and futher more have NEVER had any complaints from our members.

There is only one of me - I'm not successful enough yet to have full time professional help - so I deal with as much as I can in a day - 7 days a week.
I'm seeing that it's better to support 1 good site as well as I can than risk degrading more than 1 site by spreading myself too thin.
Legallyteen is older than fritzryan - and although I feel attachment I can see it's causing more problems than it solves - I thought I'd keep it up becase a few early affiliates have links to it but not to fritzryan.
I really didn't expect tbp or pu to hook up and promote it - so my apologies to you Denner but I'll go through all the passwords and make them live for fritzryan.

And then I'll keep working on the issues that have been pointed out to me - the oral/hardcore releases and some other script stuff that I need my programmer to deal with.
I'd like a programmer sitting beside me sometimes - but unfortunately I have to book him 2 weeks ahead.
You would be a big help if you emailed me about specific navigation issues so I can raise them with my programmer - the site is built built from dhtml and php so it's not as simple to modify as html - which I can sometimes fool with myself.

If you look at comments the webmaster has made elsewhere, you may have (at least a partial) answer to your question.
I actually have a rule NOT to review a site within the first month. For myself, I just don't think it's a good amount of time to give a fair review - not to say that I consider all of the reviews done by others within the first month are unfair.
It's just that a site can have an inordinate amount of good or bad stuff posted right at the point that I join and if I'm reviewing right away, I'll be affected by that. I'm bound to give a more balanced review if I wait several weeks.
I agree with leaving reviews available to edit for a year - I think it would be a really good idea to show the before and after scores, though.
For instance: 84 on 1/07/07, 73 on 9/13/07 - with the date of the follow-up comments showing as well, similar to the way that TBP reviews work. If a site hasn't moved a reviewer to change the score within one year, the reviewer should just do a new review if they care to.
Thanks for the comment Denner. The video on the site varies on the quality sent into us. Some peoples cameras are better than others so that reflects in the video. Also the quality of the video depends on whether they shot it Point of View (POV) Or set static on the dresser or tripod for example. With the Mari videos on the site they were shot with the video setting on a digital camera and not an actual camcorder.
We do provide all video in the biggest screen size possible as sent to us, and most of it is in DVD quality 720X480.
If you got any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
I agree. The webmasters/site owners must know that TBP gets a lot of traffic from non registered people and that PU is as good a resource for non-members as for members.
PU is the Consumers Union of Porn afficionadoes and any site owners that don't pay attention to what is said here do so at their own peril.
To answer your question about TBP hits... TBP does get about 10x more traffic than PornUsers. Combined, TBP and PU send a lot of sales to pay-sites and our influence has grown over the last few years. PU is the first of it's kind and webmasters are starting to take it more seriously as it evolves. Most webmasters have embraced the idea and it's great to bridge the communication gap that's existed for so long.
With that said, we have a long way to go still and all your support so far has been very encouraging for us!!

Sorry, but about the videos, I don't really know. She tends to post a lot of her webcam stuff, which of course isn't a "professional" production. There's a list available from her home page, "latest updates" or something like that, which is text but maybe would help.
Some nice pic sets have been put up in the past 19-24 months, some but not all at 1200px. But that's the pic nut talking.

Well Denner, i gave it an 85 I believe, and said i would rather pay more for higher quality. You're right--I am an old timer Lol! I think if someone never saw porn before, VB videos would be good enough. I'd rather pay for quality myself
I have to be honest and say this is my favourite site out there and has been for a couple of years now. 5 full DVD's a day for less than $10 a month can't be sniffed at!
And I know that of those 5 I will only browse scenes from a couple, and ignore the rest because there are some pretty rubbish offerings out there, but they do try to cater to every taste, so there will be a lot of stuff I won't want to watch.
But for the price I certainly get plenty for my buck, and the comments on the truly hideous postings are worth the subscription fee alone, I haven't found a better site than this yet, whether its value for money, quantity of updates, or even scenes I would want to download...
