Porn.com has the 2 Asianatrix (well, the 2 that count - there was a 1st one that was pretty much bondage/fetish only) and the 2nd Asian Noir, which is not at Videobox.
All of these DVD's are recommended for people who are looking for Asian porn that is non-standard - whether you'll like them or not, I have no idea, but they're pretty quirky - Asianatrix has all kind of stuff of personality transference and other metaphysical themes.
It's no great revelation to say that porn is formulaic.
I was sorry to see that one of my favorite US-based Asian porn auteurs, David Aaron Clark, passed away at the end of November.
If you want to see Asian porn that is much less formulaic than most, check out his Asian Noir DVD's (I think that Videobox has some of that material) or Asianatrix (Videosz has that, I'm pretty sure)
His newest one, Pure, which came out just before his death from a pulmonary embolism, is supposed to be very good - it's a porn version of the story that inspired Nagisa Oshima's excellent In The Realm Of The Senses in the 70's
But Japanese porn has different qualities than US porn - I like the long extended groping scenes in Japanese porn. I like the relentless vibrator attacks. I LOVE the dancing scenes. I LOOOOOOVE the Oil Dancing scenes. I think Asian women are really freaking hot and I like the cosplay and the extended tease in Japanese porn - they get the eroticism of wardrobe more in Japanese porn than in most US porn.
And the Graphis and other photography posted at JSexNetwork is much more erotic than the stuff at The Black Alley or most of the other asian-centric sites that I've looked at.
My high rating for this site came from the outstanding beauty of the models and the high quality photo sets. I kept only a handful of videos, and more than likely I won't view them again. But then again, watching people fuck bores me to tears anyway.
That being said, I think Japanese porn in general has a higher level of eroticism than most other sources.
Switching from European or American porn to Japanese porn, there is a change in the mind-set, the ambiance, the mind-set. Change can be nice, it can refresh the mind and allow you to enjoy the same basic thing (sex or porn) more than the same-old, same-old thing.
I don't appreciate all of Japanese porn, especially the mosaics, but it makes for a nice change of pace. And there are some truly lovely Japanese porn models/actresses.
But tastes differ. If you are bored by Japanese porn, then look elsewhere for something that you can appreciate.
if you are a downloader like i am, then i can give you the hint of visiting porn.com (lethal18 e.g.). even if my rating is low, for a "onetime grab" there is quite good material to find.
I took a quick look over the review again, and it looked like I mentioned that about 25% of the videos are in HD (the more recent ones) in the site details column. Even then, the HD quality wasn't top-notch, though it did look better than the SD videos of course.

Some are little clip of the photoshoot, while others are dedicated sexy teasing clips. The videos are not really the type to collect/save and rewatch, though, do not be expecting that. Nice to watch their girls in action, but photography is the main draw to the site.
I can agree with the wait and see method. I think once they get the servers working better, it will be one of the best sites on the internet, especially for those of us who have been around on 1byday for years and can now get better quality of our old favorite videos and new updates too.
I was a member here twice, I think, and enjoyed it both times. I ended up deleting the videos I took both times over worries whether the material was actually contrived or not. If it's real, it can't be legal, if it's legal, it can't be real, right? Or am I wrong? From my reading, I believe that candid public material is still legal, but material shot in a private setting - or a public place where privacy is expected - without the knowledge and consent of the subject, is not legal, nor should it be. The WC vids would most certainly be illegal if they were genuine, nor could I feel comfortable watching them even if it were legal to do so. If I could know for sure that it was all contrived and set-up I'd probably go back with a clearer conscience.
I've heard it many times that these kind of sites feature contrived videos, even though the site owners claim that they are real. However, I was a member at one of these voyeur sites and one vid which was set in an asian public bath-house had a small child in it, who was blurred. If this was contrived, why would there be a child present? There were also a few elderly people who I can't imagine would want to participate in such material. I emailed the webmaster at said site and he would only insist that the material was legal, but would not concede that it was contrived.

I've never had a problem using the monthly calendars and don't wind up back where I started as the OP mentioned, but they do really need to make it possible to search for models by name and to search for work across the network.
The bizarre thing is that non-members can find a particular model's work across the network easier than members can. So what are you supposed to do? Go into the site in one browser as a member and go into it with a different browser to search as a non-member?
They need to fix this. They are working on integrating the network - if you go into some of the secondary sites as a member of Pix&Video, you'll be in a beta area that is integrated, though it needs a LOT of work, in my opinion, to be as user friendly as it could/should be.
For instance, with the beta you can choose a site from the network in a single windown with a pull-down menu, but you cannot see all updates across the network, which is really where they should go, if at all possible.
The frustrating thing about the secondary sites is that they dole out the updates over the course of 7/8 days - adding pics and video clips to the same update - so even if they had the thing I described as seeing updates across the network, if you wanted to be looking at complete updates, you would need to be looking back to see what the update was 8 days ago.
As I say, they've got a lot of work to do to make this network as good as it could/should be - but jumbly as it is, the current deal gives members a whole lot of very good material.

I agree that the Just Teen Movie site is a disappointment. They started out with high-quality short videos (8-17 minutes run time) of lovely models. The videos were mainly boring, in spite of the attractiveness of the models. I say high-quality videos because of the high definition of the videos and the other technical aspects (good lighting, good color for the skin tone, etc.)
But it's been over 15 months since they added a new video. Anyone joining that site for over 1 month is wasting his money. You can download the entire site contents of Just Teen Movie in 2 or 3 days. They only have 42 videos. And most of the videos you probably wouldn't want to watch a second time, anyway, because they are mainly boring.
A real shame. They had a good idea of a high-quality video site of lovely young models, and then didn't follow through on the updates.

First of all, let us say that EroBerlin is just a baby on the Internet. It is growing at a natural speed - all content shot by the site owner - rather than building the site from bought content.
With that said, yes there is a long way to go in the growth and development of this site!
The reason there is very little photo content is because the site owner does not like to shoot photos. He was a fan of Hegre-Art.com and MET.com but thinks the erotic nude photography genre is boring. For this reason he starts EroBerlin. In his words, video says much more than just a photo. So he focus all his time on shooting the videos, which are very long and very high quality.
We had a team meeting in Thailand at the start of December and the site owner says he plans to shoot much more photo content in 2010. So we will hope and see!
As for the site slowdown, we have been struggling to meet very high demand. There is now over 1,000 members of the site, which is crazy in only 4 months. So the demand level was very unexpected.
Also we have a problem with hackers. There is a flood of about 50,000-100,000 requests to our login page per day from hackers who want to get in for free. We block the requests, but it still puts strain on the server. This attack is because the content is so high in demand! All the Eastern Europe and Russian hackers want to see!
Last weekend, we had server problems because a Hungarian torrent site posted one of our videos and in return we had about 5,000 visitors per hour hitting the site & watching free videos (there are over 100 free videos on the site).
A lot of this traffic came through our review on The Best Porn, since the review URL was posted in the NFO file. Now we have reworked the server config to better manage this heavy traffic.

I'll chime in (E-C) with another PLEA that they reconsider their whole approach and go from being mainly a video site to being a kick-ass photo site as well. They've got the models! They've got the equipment! All they have to do is say "Yes" (or "Da," perhaps) and get those photos up at 3-4000 pixels. It would only help them draw a broader subscriber base, and it's certainly not nearly as expensive as paying the other production costs.
It's such a shame to waste the opportunity when they've got girls like Lucie Lee, Helen F (aka Kya), Britney, Cayenne, etc. etc. ETC. in exclusive material.
