If you'll note, TBP/PU has already corrected the price listed.
Yes, the prices of sites DO change a LOT. Our (very hard working) staff make every effort to keep our listings current and accurate. As well as spot checking sites, we are VERY attentive when PornUsers mentions a price has changed.
With regards to regional pricing, we have no way of knowing what those outside the US might be charged on any given day. Where we KNOW a site is using regional pricing, the editors make a notation on the site's listing.
We're sorry we're not perfect ... trust me, it's not from lack of trying. :)

Yes - something like 90% of the sites I join is paid in US-dollars - typical through CCBill or Epoch.
BTW: Epoch is the best in regarding the dollars-payment...

Thanks for the info! CCBill automatically quotes the Canadian price, I guess they keep track of the DNS from where the request is coming so I had no idea that the price was higher compared to that quoted by TBP.
CCBill nevertheless were willing to charge way more than the official rate. But as Khan stated other factors might play a role.

It sounds like you may have missed some of the discussions that have gone on here about "regional pricing". That's the practice of charging a different rate depending on the location the person is at. It's not just a matter of currency conversion.

It is possable that the world fin. situation might have some effect though one would have to take a look a several years worth of traffic to see what the trend is. It could be possiable that we are seeing the drop that occurs from people who join a site only for a few mounths then leave I am sure for all sites ther must be a peak couple of mounths that they have the most members. Of course the other thing is that Alexa.com meassures the traffic that goes to the entire site not just one part of it for example only 7% of people went to Met-Arts member area while the rest went to tour areas or to those pages that show several pic from a photoset. It does look like the traffic is higher in the summer time though maybe more people are members then. Of course porn as a whole is a multi billion dollar industry just in the United States so Id say pretty safe to say that most of the big name sites will do just fine in the long run even Playboy magazine has had some ups and downs over the years. Though even playboys web site is about 600 spots lower than Met-Art I guess a few people could take a few days and look up most of the sites listed on PU and see what the traffic levels are it would be neat to see what site has the highest rank on the whole web traffic wise. And to compare one site to another traffic wise that could cause some heated comments; "Street Hoes is better than Corner Sluts" oh really well according to the traffic levels Corner Sluts has 75% more traffic per mounth!" Ha ha I can see it now.

yep very true there is a website traffic ratting site used by webmasters(I wont name it but it is very accurate) on this site it will give you trafic info for damn near any site out there and it shows the traffic in a chart from for several years now Heargeart has been on the whole losing traffic and it is way below any erotic art site copmetion perhaps why they charge more?

Because (I'm guessing) it was an email address you got off the site, I left it unedited this time. Some times I will edit an actual address.
Sometimes you may also see them use the format "support [at] pornusers [dot] com" as we often do here at PU.
Like Drooler remarks, I suspect some spam bots have evolved to pick up the alternate ways of listing an address. And myself, I also use a script much like the one he describes to cloak an email address when I code it onto a web page. Still, it's generally considered bad form to post a raw address on a public post ... especially if it's someone else's address.
And no, your post here (nor in the PU Forum) are not considered email. However, spam bots scan web pages to harvest any email address they can find.
Anyway, now you'll know when you see that format for an email address that you need to change it to the correct syntax for your email program to use.

While I agree with Khan about not posting "live" email addresses, I would think that the people who write spam bots could probably write code that would identify soAndso(at)place.dom as an email address, too.
There's a javascript I found once that might do better to thwart the bots. It basically just puts the pieces of the email address into variables and then writes the actual address to the page. Since bots scan the code, they wouldn't recognize it as an email address, but it works the same for a person viewing the page.
But who knows if the bot writers haven't figured that out, too.

Well, info(AT)justteensite.com is a format to let you know what the email address is BUT keep spam bots from picking up the email address (as they will when you post it like you did here).
Most know to replace the (AT) with @
It really isn't prudent to post raw email addresses on public web pages as they will (almost certainly) be picked up by spam bots.

Go take a look at some of the forum subjects. There were a couple of discussion on reward programs for long term members. I guess I'm more like most surfer. I like the join for a month download all the content you like, then comeback 3, 6 or 12 months later. I always keep track of my favorite websites updates. Unless there is one that I must have I will wait at least 3 months before rejoining. I have yet to see a single reward program that didn't wind up costing more in the long run than joining every once in a while.

The dot com crashes, and alike showed us when happens when thing tap out.
Barrack is going to get allot of pressure morally from the east I am unsure what battles he will pick to try and get along as he wants to.

Now that said, the reason why we get picked on in the world of porn is because we are open to it, thats the same reason we are noticed. Many contries are bad at porn, degrading and abusive porn is allowed but hardly seen in public.

It's interesting that you make that comparison.
The two major changes in the porn business took place during Republican eras. 1- full frontal nudity in Playboy and the emergence of the Hustler style magazines during Nixon, 2- full insertions displayed in men's magazines during Bush 2.
And the emergence and growth of the internet porn biz also took place during Bush 2.
A month or so ago, UpChuck Schumer (Democrat Senator from NY) made indirect but pointed suggestions that internet regulation and limitations on porn were on the Democrat agenda.
Remember, the Republicans are generally laissez faire free market types (no governmental interference in trade) and the Democrats are generally interested in establishing maximum control over free enterprise.
I submit that those of us porn afficionadoes who enjoy being customers need to stay vigilant in the next few years to make sure we continue to have access, or we'll find out, too late, that it's gone.

No, by the $24.95 for several months I just meant that I'd joined at a time when their archives already had several months in volume. No special deal.
In May this year I joined for a year at 99.95, and I just confirmed that at ccbill. (The question made me want to make sure again.) But you're right that the pricing at the site has doubled for the longest-term membership -- by cutting the time in half.

I still remember my math teachers saying, "Show your work!" But it's basically going to be something between 70 and 75, all other things being pretty good.
