As a past member for several months, who had a chance to look over your older content, I have to say that this would be awesome. During my time as a member, I already expressed this to support, but it deserves to be said again here.

This can't be said enough. It would be a huge loss if this older content were removed. While the videos could use the most remastering, the photo quality back then is still very enjoyable today, even if it is not up to modern standards. Some of those older scenes are just so well shot, and the models are so hot. I also like to keep track of models, and it would be really frustrating if a favorite model's shoots were removed, even if they were low quality.
Thanks Ace DDF for talking with us here about these points. While we are on the subject of older DDF content and particular models, I can't help but ask, what happened to the shoots with Justine Joli (aka Swan and Hope) that used to be on houseoftaboo.com? I downloaded some free samples of those on TGP's a long time ago, but the shoots aren't there anymore. Do you still have those archived anywhere? Justine Joli is amazing - any chance that even the original non-remastered shoots might be re-posted?

From a quality perspective, I'm in agreement with you as well. DDF's last few years have added some truly spectacular babes and even the not quite as spectacular ladies have terrific video material.
I've said publicly on the PU site that I view DDF far superior to 21Sextury in its efforts to work with their customers and, more importantly, its business ethics. 21Sextury has some great content but have lousy business practices and virtually non-existent support. Their loss. DDF's gain.

Hi Again CyberToad, and thanks for your in-depth review and answers to our questions.
- All the Points you make are quite Valid and the items regarding Cancellation and Customer Service will be Investigated. For the record, we have thousands of Happy Customers each month, and it is very rare that we get complaints about the Cancellation Process, but I will definitely look into that personally, as well as the Download Speeds.
- As far as communications were working on Much better comms of benefits for Members....Coming very soon,
- Search....I'll have tech check that out as well though ive checked Personally, and yes sometimes unrelated items may appear, but for the most part, our search has more options then most other sites provide.
- Firefox....though if you have some definitive pages which you were stuck on....if you could send those to me via email could speed up the process :)
Really thanks for your feedback....always helps to get our users view so we can continually improve, and thats exactly what we plan to do in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Should be pretty straight forward right now. Would you mind explaining a bit further?
Piss poor search never worked.
Some examples of what didn't work? There are many options for search, including a Free Search, and advanced search feature, both for sets, and models, as well as story text, but we would love to know whats not working on your end.
Slow downloads
This should be pretty good now compared to the past however it does also depend on your DL Speed. Example of DL Speed compared to Filesize?
Difficult cancellation
We have a cancel membership button inside the My Profile sector and at the Footer of each page on the site. What problems did you encounter? My email is always open, any feedback from a Member having problems, including cancellation is resolved very quickly. Marketing.ddf@Gmail.com
Download format varies allot even during same time frame.
This should not be. Only in Old sets, Prior to 2011 as technologies were different back then. Can you provide me with an example?
Not all movies have picture.
Some sets are Video only and are clearly Marked on the Cover Image.

Thanks for the encouraging words, they sure help a newb like myself. I have now updated my review some, but on the part of numbers for download quality, I can't remember exactly, therefore I added a general description of the movies' quality.
I also listed some genres I remember from this site.
Thanks for your input, and I will try my best to remember this when I review another site.

Hello, Zach here from Digital Desire staff. I'd like to just address some of the 'cons' that Toad listed.
-Getting to download to many steps.
Its a matter of clicking to the set/video and clicking a download button on that page to get the zip/video files. Not sure how much simpler we can make that.
-Navigation is oldschool hard to use.
Its a basic listing of thumbnails for each update. You can search by model or filter by tags.
-Inconsistent file format.
99% of all of our video files have flash versions, wmv's, and h.264 MP4's. There should not be any video without a format that can't play on both PC and Mac.

Curious, are you still am member there? If so please tell me more about the site. I would love to join, but at this point I am having a hard time swallowing the idea of a 2 GB download limit. I really want to know what they are doing that keeps people there so I know if it is worth me trying out.

I agree completely though. My first several reviews sucked ass! I left out good information and made them pretty short. I was able to change them though because it was in the first month.
Your reviews now days are pretty good. I especial like the Rachel Aziani review, I think it is better than mine. You have my trust vote! I was just hoping you would be willing to update the review since it was from when you first started and bring it up to par with your newer ones, but I am now not sure if you are able to.

Come one man, you can't give a site a 100 when it has a download limit, especially one so low as 2 GB. I am really surprised you have not caught a bunch of hell around here for this review score.
Granted it is a site I would love to join, but not for 2 GB a day. It is a simply scam to force people to stay members for a very long time.
I know some people cry about 100s and say they should never be given. Personally I have no issue with them so long as the reviewer can give some very good reasons. So please tell us a bunch more about this place, and be very specific on my it deserves such a high mark. Many say a site can have no cons period to be a 100, I do not subscribe to that completely. However, I believe download limits are a major con that can not be overlooked.

Well, that's my opinion. I'm sure some users would disagree but are still fans. I've had a great 2/3 year fun ride on the network. Maybe i should have given them a 99, but anything in the 90=100 range is worth trying. The stars they have are the stars I like and have liked for years. Aurora S., Candy, Spring, the one that was going out with Sheen was on there. It's so vast and like i said the search tags could be refined, but I would enjoy being pleasantly surprised when a subject i'm interested in would show up in a scene that isn't tagged. They work in all the hardcore things that they can without getting in trouble. The picture quality is super and they seem to be very tech advanced. I am not tech advanced so i stick to one way of watching their scenes, but they do have other options and they are always improving. They added two or three new sites to the network while i was there. I love how I wrote them asking them to make a fetish i have more inclusive in the search, and to add the act in these specific suggestions i had to a scene. THe next update was like i was the director of the scene. They really listen to sincere fans. There is a comments section and many leave comments that aren't constructive and just stupid, but as a fan of interracial i would always want to be a member of this network as a base...then branch off to a few others maybe, but it's been my only site membership for the past 3 years and there was still so much to see. Sure we'd like a lower price and maybe if everyone joined they could do that, but these actors deserve a great fee. Maybe my perfect score is overstated for some, but it's how i feel. There is little room for improvement. thanks for the interest.

My only reasons for the fairly high score is that they seem to have fixed the access issue since I brought it up because I haven't had any problems since then and even if they aren't really updating with new content. All new member are still getting 100's of gigs of incredible porn and that won't change for the immediate future.
That's why I gave a warning to returning members.

I would think so. They already technically have 2 solo girl subsites (Nicole Graves and Anette Dawn), with the Annette one looking like it's not updating at all anymore. So I would think they would/could just open up a site for her like those two.

I do know that Emily signed some sort of exclusive contract with Twistys in June of this year. So there's a chance that that exclusive contract prevented her from updating this site, even though it bears her name specifically. Or that she abandoned this site because part of her contract is to have her own official site under the Manwin/Twistys brand.

My best advice to you is to stop trying to talk down to me. "Thats how this stuff works" and "Comments are not supposed to become a debating issue."
According to the site, "What's the intention of replies? #4 says, "Engage in a related conversation or debate." When you question something I put in a review, it is my right to explain and if need be, debate my point. It is one of the rules of what the comments are for. I've been here since the site started, I know how the site works. Also, I noticed in one of your reviews that you talked about not being able to edit a review that you wished you had scored lower. From my own experiences, you can click "edit review" and change the score. I've done it on several sites that were not as good after the initial thought that a site was great. Try it and see.
