I don't know how telling it really is, but I once read an article (in The Economist, I think) that make a point that the difference in how people choose to be governed in Canada and the US can be gleaned from their "slogans" (my word, the article is gone). For Canada, it's "peace, order, and good government" (if I remember correctly); for the US, it's "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Anway, I'd say "good government" has been our #1 deficiency in the US. Without that, it's harder to have the others.

Thanks for the explanation. I don't know why you feel like a nerd, but even if you do. You should be proud of that fact. I know I'm quite proud of the fact that I am one giant nerd. I usually look that as being a sign of intelligence. In Canada we don't elect a Prime Minister as much as we elect the party itself. Whoemever happens to be in charge of the party is the Prime Minister. We do have a problem in that certain sections of the electoral map with low population have as much voting power as those with larger populations. Every once in a while the governments redraw the map to make it fairer, but there is always some complaining.

There is no such thing as a true democracy except on paper or in movies. The fact of the matter is that it takes money to become a candidate, even more to be on a ballot, and the amounts required to be elected, make it next to impossible for mere mortals.
I agree that Al Gore probably should have been president in 2000, but only 51.3% of eligible voters actualy bothered to vote.
There are many political systems in the world(I'm excluding any dictatorships or places where there's only one name on the ballot). If you don't bother to vote, you have a difficult moral ground to complain about the person elected.

Good point. Fantasies are fine. Reality's much tougher and the two don't combine all that well a lot of times. I had a girlfriend and we used to talk about what female friends we wanted to have sex with together. We decided that we were mutually hot for one girl in particular and so we got her over and got her clothes off and I was going to fuck her, but that felt weird, so I fucked my girlfriend instead. The girl slept with us and we went out to breakfast together, but I can't say that it brought any of us closer at all - more the opposite. You're right, but inside it is MUCH better than outside :-).

Probably because they're Russians (that's for sure) and could have problems writing in English. Usually it's better to stay away from Russian sites, but this one is an exception.

Yes; most updates are photos (decent quality), but even my video collection (not full) is more than 100 of their clips (5-10 minutes length each).

I think twice per week (or maybe once, don't remember exactly), but updates are either photosets, or quite small parts (older about 5 min, newer 10min or so) of larger videos (some videos span up to 10 such updates, and there is usually a VERY good script behind the video).

The most recent ones were VERY decent 640x480 WMVs at 800-900kBit/s.
Bottom line: if you're into this theme (on milder side, with more of psychology than physics and even less brutality), you should try it (obviously that's assuming that they didn't turn to worse during these few months I'm not a member).

I've seen the same thing, too. The reviewers might not be experienced and/or they might also be in a temporary "thrill state," a kind of porn intoxication that impedes objectivity.
The opposite can happen, too. One of us porn geezers might be initially disappointed and score lower than we would a couple of weeks later. Call it "porn melancholy." (Hell, I should have been in psychology. ;)
Reminds me of a point one of us made some time ago, that one should wait for awhile after joining a site before writing a review. I think the recommended time was over 2 months, which I think is unnecessarily long, but the idea of letting oneself cool off, or warm up as the case may be, is worth keeping in mind.

I can relate exactly to what youu are saying but after losing it a number of times, a couple by choice and others through stupidity, I'm more protective now.
In the mid nineties (no internet), in the UK you couldn't get it hardcore so I had satellite. I had over two hundred VHS tapes. 3 hours long each. do the math, 600 hours. if you average 700 MB per hour. That's 42GB. I have over 2 TERABYTES now. I'm just glad I don't need to keep them on VHS. BUT, like you say, I know 80% of it I've never viewed. Like you, I love the Hunt...
so here's back to happy hunting...

While I honestly didn't expect anyone to basically say what you did, you bring up an important strength of Porn Users as a resource on a whole. There are so many reviewers, with so many tastes and interests, that there are reviews, even if they are real quick ones, for lots of very tiny niche sites. Sites that aren't worth the time of the big review sites yet, but here someone pops in and gives you a glimpse at what you are getting - and that can really save you from wasting 30 bucks.
Basically, the point is, that while some reviewers take quite awhile preparing the review (my average review writing time is 1.5 hours, not counting the "research" time spent prior on the site) and others just write up a quick opinion style overview - any review is better than no reviews, even if it is as simple as: "Rubbish, only 10 videos."

You are completely welcome! I encourage others to give clues on cancellations of other websites that use this tactic. I know how frustrating it is to try for an hour to find a way to cancel something and end up being charged forty bucks because their customer service chooses to ignore your requests.

yes it`S also my point of view.
i confrontated kahn (pu-admin)with that problem, but he wrote, that if he makes the voting not anonmyously, that nearly nobody rates in future times.
that isn`t right in my opinion, but that`s just my point of view. maybe if more users ask for getting rid of anonymously votings, he will change his opinion.

that`s a quite good thing if they refund the costs. others like ccbill make it easy for themselves. they tell"we are a third party and don`t have to stand for the prblems with the site. if you got problems with the site (even if there is a stupid answering-bot) you have to clear the problems with (the never gettable) admin." :(
that`s close to fraud by the site admins who didn`t react and a shame for the billing company to treat consumers that way.

Depends on your preferences (see my reviews of SexAndSumbission, FuckedAndBound and FunnyBDSM). For "Real BDSM" stories SexAndSumbission IMHO wins hands down, with FuckedAndBound going close second (can't comment on ChantasBitches).
