A point I was making too. I would just rephrase your "whites prefer their women on the thinner side and concentrate mainly on beauty ..." and add "... as they perceive it!"
But now I must remember that this was supposed to be a poll and shut up! :-) Good night all!

I see your point and I have to say that personally I disagree. I believe the way women feel about sex has been mostly shaped by the cultural influence (for example if a woman has a lot of sex she is a slut if a guy does it he's a stud) I believe that if this cultural prejudice against women accepting their sexuality was removed women would be just as sexual as men.
Then again there is no really way of knowing whether I am right or not so the whole discussion is an exercise in thought. Either way, I hope I didn't come off like an ass. I just believe that men and women are basically identical except for their upbringing.

In this case what glitters is definetely not gold. I don't even think it's a silver lining. Most pornstars have at best 1-2 yrs to make a name for themselves and in return make their money. The contract seems like a great idea at first and for some girls it may be but I can think of at least 3 contract stars who should have greater name recognition but because of their contract. They can only film for a studio that releases their movies only every 2-3 months. In the real world that would be like a star making one movie every 2 yrs.

If I hadn't read on other forum all the issues attached with former contract stars. Then I suppose I would think that a contract is a great idea. I think that many comnpanies take advantage of the ignorance of the performers. The company knows that when the girl signs her name on the contract that it will own that stars stage name. They will justify it by the fact that they made that star famous with all the promotion but I find that a poor excuse for stealing. Digital Playground is famous for doing that.

I miss the porn from the 70's and 80's. Their idea of a sex scene was one that was plausible. That style was so powerful that it influenced most of the early gonzo stuff. Their was a time where gonzo still involved kissing, undressing foreplay and more or less normal sexual positions. Today's gonzo style is very different and in my opinion note very good. Worse it now influences regular types of scene. Wheter a studio like Wicked, or Vivid realises it. Their stuff is very much gonzo, but with more polish.

You are right, of course. I tend to forget about the inexperienced, it might possibly give them an unrealistic view of sex, so I'm changing my vote.
I'm over fifty, so all I see is the fakery and the painful gymnastics it must take at times to give us that unobstructed view. I've also seen a few behind the scenes videos on the Internet and on late night cable so I'm under no illusions when it comes to the porn industry. I suppose that's why I prefer pictures and soft core .. as a rule. I do subscribe to video sites on occasion, especially since more and more of them have HD which suits my new wide screen monitor just fine. :-)
