If we all give them a "penalty" - of, yes like 10 points (or whatever) - but something they could "feel" - it's would be a good idea...

And BTW: CCBill has changed their policy towards us non-US users in the currency-matter: same amount equivalent in US-dollars and Euro - and gives me another thumb-up for CCBill - as before. So yes, asmith, let's all vote for CCBill (billing) in the future....

When I joined Hustler a while back, one of the very first site I joined, i got hit with this. It was just by chance that I found out that it had happened.
There really is no defense for this practice. It is just a to screw people over when they are all excited to join a site and do not read everything. Seriously though, if I wanted to join the other site they are offering wouldn't go to that site? Or, why not just give access to that site with the membership? Humm...I know....they get more money for nothing this way!

I absolutely agree with asmith about the Beware-warning.
By all means it's certainly NOT only this site but a beware for ALMOST every site.
So it's a question of taking a thorough look at every join-page, because most sites now got this PRE-Checked trials - AND as another warning: If you do not take care you risk a sudden full month member-charge after those 2-3 days....

Sorry, don't know much about bitrates - just freaked out about the sizes of those files.
But, yes - when pointing at one of the the files I get the info:
10178 kbps.

Yeah, I looked at that review, and it is weird the way the caps come in about the same places....I guess he looked at my review first...
As for the time frame, I think they just put this dl limit in, so any new member would be kinda taken by surprise.
It took me a while to figure out what the heck you were talking about. My first thought was, "Why is this guy so hung up on the fact that I used Caps?" Then I saw the other review.

No, I am not "bobjob." I can only suggest that the reason you have two reviews complaining about the download limit is that the limit seems to have been put in place only a few days ago, without warning.
I am not going to start using a proxy just to try to slam a website, which, as you know, I actually liked, aside from the dl limits.
I am still getting beaten up around here for liking abbywinters.com, so why would I add more hassles?!

I wish I had read "boredsurfer's" review or I never would've joined the site. We both got burned by limitations which were not made clear before paying for membership. But no I have no affiliation with "boardsurfer." If you can look up IP addresses and see we're two different ppl you can see that for yourself.

Yeah, that's the point exactly. If the total I could download was something like 10 or 12 gigs in a month and that would be it forever, I would still consider joining such a site. Just don't leak out the material so that I have to keep coming back.

That's one gig per day, which is not awful, but the file sizes are pretty large.
The thin that bothered me was that the restriction was not mentioned anywhere in the sign-up process, AND I did e-mail CCBill support about it and they said that they only dealt with the funcitonality of passwords, not site content, etc. A big cop out.
I didn't pursue a refund because I really don't want a refund, I just think that the download limit hurts an otherwise good site. I mean, you can still pick up 30 gigs in a month, that's quite a bit of this sort of thing.

Good review. Tempts me to join.
I have been looking at this site for years, but was turned off by the poor main page which gives very little imformation (no update info, no quantity of product info, no models info), just random photographs. Also, there was no reply to my e-mail questions about the site (usually a very bad sign).
Is there lots of content? How often do they update? I thought there used to be a lack of videos. Is that improved now? What is the quality of the videos?
Appreciate any info.

That's where I think we have two different viewpoints. I don't think that it would cost 2x more because of economies of scale.
I do think it will increase their customers. Maybe not double their customers, but it should be enough to offset any increases in costs. I have to imagine that they are making pretty good money charging $30/month right now, too.

My quote refers to my scoring rubric. On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being daily updates, I scored Society SM a 5 for weekly updates.
I agree that this update schedule is about the same for all of these types of sites, but IMHO all of them could update more frequently (even 2 scenes per week would be a great improvement).

I understand where you're coming from, and that's where I used to be, but I'm still at a "burnout" point. I've been through LOTS of sites. And the SuperGlam experience, being one of several recent ripoffs, just broke the proverbial camel's back.
And actually, I'm looking forward to a nice buildup of content on my favorite sites after my being away for a good, good long while.
Anyway, I dropped in to keep my membership at PU alive (don't know the actual terms on login frequency to do that but whatever). Thought I ought to at least answer my "mail."

To me giving up on porn sites because there are some rip-off sites around - if that weren't the case, why would The Best Porn.com and this site be so helpful - is like giving up on going to strip clubs because there are some ROB dancers. The fun is finding and enjoying the great ones.
