Not everyone would have reacted the same. So, kudos!
Still, the attitude in their response may have revealed their true colors. I'll be thinking twice before if I ever sign up with Videosz again as I'm very particular about customer care.

Very friendly of the them to offer a full refund.
Still, too bad they didn't keep their word on the HD scenes. Wonder if they will offer an explanation on why they didn't come through on this. Or has this already been explained by them?

Thanks Messmer, yes I know! I tried to register again to see if they were still doing it - they were. So I then tried to register at Team Skeet. Would you believe it, same old rip em off trick there too. Same mentality that dodgy porn dealers had years ago. Rip em off cos they're not coming back.
So I tried to register at WTF Pass, and low and behold - no cross selling! These are mainly the same sites available through Chicki Porn, with one or two big differences. You not only get 9 sites from WTF Pass instead of 5 from Chicki Porn, You get them $15 cheaper through the TBP/PU link. That's $19.95 instead of $34.95. Not only that, they don't have pre-checked cross selling, unlike Chicki Porn. So that's where my money went.

Could you specify what formats and dimensions they are using?
For example, 720 is HD as well and that just wouldn't cut it for me.

You're right. I thought you would be getting a horrible surprise on your credit card, but I just went to the sign up area and it looks like they finally got rid of the tricks department. I think I shall sign up as I haven't had a membership since 21 Sextury last year.

I have thought about joining many times but there is one negative that stops me. They have a pre checked cross sell. I hate it when sites try to trick you. I am pleased to hear you like this one Messmer, as I am sure it is far better than that other unmentionable site. Since the demise of American Vice, this looks to be the best dvd site available.

when I joined recently I didn't see any real HD content, and haven't seen any on the site since I have been a member (or any options to get it). the only place I have seen any mention of HD is in a user poll asking if was more important to implement HD, user comments, or mobile - of course HD is winning in the poll, but it appears as though they implemented user comments first.
Of the scenes I have downloaded, the best I have seen is 720x540, 2700 kbps, and while the bitrate is reasonable, the video is by no means crisp. I would say their video quality is sub-DVD from what I have seen. I don't know if it is the codec they use or what, but given the file sizes you download, I would expect much better quality.

Your tastes confuse me messmer, you say you prefer niche content, but didn't you have just have a brief subsciption to Bangbros and RK? If those sights aren't mainstream I don't know what is.
My strategy is to spend what I need to get my niche needs met first (hence subscriptions to Foot Fetish Daily, and 50 plus milfs) , and then supplement it with some of the mainstream stuff which can be found much less expensive. For instance I have links for Brazzers, Bangbros and RK each for $9.95, and tend to rotate which ones I subscribe to (Brazzers is constant though). Videobox is my only yearly subscription mainly for the volume it gives access to.
I agree with you that I prefer my niche stuff to mainstream any day, but for me alot of the mainstream stuff is damn good, plus there are many strains of what you might call mainstream. I think you find that when you go only niche, that there are a ton of videos you see on the net that you wish you could download, and I'd say 85-90% of the DVD type content makes it's way to sites like videobox and/or videoz at some point or another.
I take it then that you subscribe to 21sextury for Lusty Grannies, I'm sure you've already thought of this, but wouldn't your money be better spent at a site like Mature.nl? (if it isn't already).

Yes and no, for 99% of sites I agree but sites like this one and Video Box I think are worth it for a year just based on sheer volume. It's like a good fallback site to have in your back pocket.
In fact I actually don't think these sites because of their nature (updating like once every few hours with a new DVD) would really make sense as a monthly subscription.
Now I would say it only makes sense to have one like this, personally I subscribe to Videobox yearly and will probably re-up next year. Too much bang for your buck.
This would make a good thread for the forum

The sad part is that some amazing porn is being lost to time. How long is it going to be when no one remembers that porn once had an actual story and amazing acting in it all the while offering some great sex scenes? Will most performers be remembered 20yrs from now? I don't know why no on bothers to clean up and digitize old movies. I know there is a market for it.

I am too but I'd rather have some less than stellar older content than repackaged 2yrs old content. My ultimate wish is the releasing of cleasned up porn from the 70's and 80's. Specially stuff that is no longer available anywhere. I know it's not going to happen but one can always hope.

I would gladly welcome compilation dvd's if they brought back scenes from the 80's and early 90's. If shooting new content is too expensive and you want to make some quick and easy cash then release stuff that isn't availbale anywhere.

If it was hot babes, I'd download for sure - and the description doesn't even fit the vid, since I'm looking at the preview right now and all scenes start with the girl wearing clothes. There are scenes of Violet Blue, who is a must-download for me, so I'd download her scene for sure, and Cailey Taylor looks hot as well so I would definitely download her scene.
I guarantee you, this vid is 40000000% better than the vid the jokers at Videobox started things off with today - World's Oldest Gangbang - ha ha ha. I'm glad they're having a good time celebrating April Fools Day by posting that garbage. And if they made up for it with an extra posting today, then I would be sweet about it.
