"A Studied Casualness", good term - yeah, that might not be up my alley, but I'll have to check it out none-the-less. I'm certainly quite used to casual style in videos, I'm just usually less of a fan in photos. I guess, I won't know for certain until I browse the site for a while. Thanks for all the info :-)

Thanks for the clarification - it validates my estimation of the content from their preview pages. I thoroughly understand how you've tired of the "perfect" model look, it can get boring. Years ago I was a member of both MET Art and Hegre Art (back when it was called the Hegre Archives) with year long subscriptions to each. By the time the year was up, just about the last thing I wanted was to look at another glamour girl posing in a window. So I joined a few ATK sites, and that was a nice departure from the glamour model look.
As for the technical aspects of the photography - I guess I'm a bit of stickler about that. A number of people like the poor photography that sometimes shows up on Suicide Girls (which I've been a member of off and on for years) - it always drives me nuts. It isn't just a matter of the photos being crisp and throughly in focus - modern autofocus is so superb that the camera will handle that just fine as long as there is even remotely enough light. An old Sony I had actually projected a laser matrix in front of it and would autofocus in nearly pitch black.
Even with "grit" porn, I expect a certain artistic focus. So you want to do aggressively unorthodox photos and put the photographer's feet in the photo? Fine - but make that style a continuing theme throughout the site. In the preview photos I see photos that could use much color balancing, plus others with washed out colors, flash shadows and so on. Many of the photos look like they want to be smoother, they just aren't.
If you want it to be gritty - photograph it at high ISOs. Throw various objects in the extreme foreground that we have to look past. Give us bizarre angles, like overhead or underneath shots. Photograph using just the on camera flash - or light the scene with a TV. There are tons of fun ways to look amateur while being professional - I just get frustrated by content that looks professional with some amateur seeping through.
Frankly, early Hegre Art stuff had a lot of that problem, he has come a long way over the years. I don't know how young Girls Out West is - maybe they too will improve with time, or maybe they know what they are doing and it just won't ever be quite to my taste. I'll join at some point in the future and try it out, a number of the models do look rather interesting.

Looks like an interesting site, I may have to check it out sometime in the future. Though it appears to have the same basic downfall of the amateur style that Abby Winters has, many cute models but very, very few beautiful models. At least as far as the photos they put in their tour.
The photography also appears to be sub par in technical skill when compared to Simon Scans or Abby Winters (in my opinion the big two in this genre) and your description seems to confirm this. (Am I right about that?) Still, photo shoots with less of an agenda can sometimes capture some very interesting moments. Plus, the site does seem to have a huge variety of models - more varied than either of the aforementioned sites - so that is appealing.

If it were only that simple. If you Google "Glamor Babes" (American spelling) you'll get glamourbabes.org and glamourbabez.com high on the list. That second one, with the deviant plural, makes me wonder if glamourbabes.com is already owned by someone else.
So it's not just spelling; it's domain name ownership. Could be that they invented "glamure" for that reason.
I was a member once when it was Baltic Babes. The new, Glamure site doesn't seem to have any new updates since then.
So, anyway, fuck it. ;)

messmer - I wish I could give you a better answer, but I really can't remember it that well. My recollection is that there were two bonus sites but that the material wasn't that great. It wasn't worth joining just to get the bonus sites. The primary site, HD Porn, is a great site though and I intend to renew my membership soon. I wish I could be of more help... sorry!

Good question. I had to go look to find out. It looks like all of the girls in the massage videos and still shots are already naked and oiled up by the time the shoot starts. A few models have sets called something like "before the massage" where they get oiled up. Most often, though, the "before" sets are images, from every angle, of the girl laying there. As I was just looking through the site, it dawned on me that the vast majority, like 90%, of shoots start out and end with the girls completely naked. It depends a little on the model, but very few of them have any clothes on at all. Ever. For example Little Caprice has 40 sets. She has a corset on in 2 sets, a pair of jean shorts in one set and panties or a bathing suit in 1 or two other sets. So maybe 35 out of 40 sets contain nothing but a completely naked Caprice. Melissa Mendini has 35 sets and she has a swimsuit or a shirt or something on, very briefly, in about 6 of those sets. 44 sets of the beautiful and now retired Marketa. Maybe 8 of those sets have any covering at all. Anna S, one of the nearly-exclusive models and one of the most beautiful models I have ever seen, has over 100 photo and video sets. She is completely naked in about 82 of them. I'm not sure but maybe the point the photographer is trying to make is that these girls are such fine examples of the female form that they don't need to hide anything. So....if you like sets where the girls strip, there are not many of those here. Sorry for the long answer.

The best I've been able to do with most Hegre material is to group postings by what the apparent shoots were over time in order to combine stripping with full nudity. It's a chore, but kinda fun, too. And it doesn't always happen.

I agree that lingerie needs to be seen more across the board. Lingerie makes me use my imagination for moment and it also looks incredible on many of the women. Often times I find the women more attractive when in lingerie than when they are nude.

I can't accuse them of the crime and I don't want to but we wouldn't be talking about this if it had been only one review. We got 4 new reviews of a site that had none and 3 of them were so bad that the info and score are not to be taken seriously.
At least the last review is dead on and that's the one I will use to make a decision.

I checked your first review in 2007 of AW and the one you did in 2011 and they aren't comparable because they are like night and day. The original one had no data. There's nothing wrong per say but is that really a review or just a fan talking about his favorite site.
I would have been fine if one person had made a review of Jo's site and picked a score that was at least close to what TBP gave the site but you got 3 people in a row who scored the site at 95, 98 and 100 and none of them could actually say anything except that the content is artistic(what does that even mean?). There is now a 4th review but we finally see a score that makes sense and there is info that is important to someone who wants to make an educated choice.
I don't know if the reviews were planted by someone associated with the site but 4 reviews in a 3 day period of a site that had none looks suspicious.

Doing the calculations from what files I have, the mp4's run an average of 275MB. The wmv's are harder to average because they've upped the file sizes a couple of times over time, but I would say the newer ones run around around 80mb, the older ones around 50.

Hey, messmer....not much lingerie here. Mostly some nice/sexy "two-part" underwear, a lot with small thongs, some with dresses first...and the outdoor shoots in typical casual dress and/or bikini.
But the stripping is not in a hurry, generally....hope that helps.

Actually, good point Messmer. We have referred to it as an ass site because that is how it is promoted (i.e. the 'crack' refers to the ass crack, not the pussy).
But you're right - a great many videos and photo sets aren't centred around the ass at all. For people (like me) who really appreciate proper girly back door action, and with no men featured, I recommend Lez Cuties a lot higher than this site. :)

I was recently a memeber for 2 months. I thought the site was great. But I canceled because during the second month becuase the download speeds got extremely slow. I emailed asking what happen to the site with no response. I even tried downloading at different times of of the day, (4 AM) the speed got a little better but it could take well over an hour to download the various clips for the video. One evening it took almost an hour just to download the zip file. I plan on joining again because I thought the site was well worth it but if the speed issue is not addressed I doubt I will join or recommend.
