Yes likewise I see myself as a collector. I've never illegally shared anything, and it's hard not to see these streaming/rental restrictions as attempts to restrict illegal activity. But the irony is that those intent on downloading the content to share still can do, albeit with a fair bit of techy effort. So the younger subscribers won't be stopped from ripping off the content the pornsites seek to protect, just the older generation will, being probably less tech savvy and more honest.
I think the pendulum will swing back due to simple economics. Like putting up your prices in a declining market, streaming only means squeezing harder the shrinking pool of customers you still have, who then shrink some more and must be squeezed harder still. This is not the business model of the Companies that conquered the world (Amazon, McDonalds etc) so I can confidently say they'll not pursue streaming-only for very long.

Traditional 'paid-for' porn has been fighting a losing battle with a growing sea of free stuff for years. I'm sure this has squeezed profits. Add to that a new global recession/depression that will shrink cash available for non-essentials like porn. Meanwhile, many younger people see all media (music/video) as free by right and will never pay anything, witness what Napster etc did to the music world.
It seems to me that porn is increasingly supported by an ageing population who once bought their VHS Videos or DVDs, and still now pay up for downloads. But we are being edged out by a younger generation with different attitudes. Against this, we have this new idea that those still buying porn (not torrent file sharing or password cracking) will put up with just 'renting' our porn and being left with nothing afterwards. Well, I expect to see that pendulum swing back towards downloading/owning, for those studios still around to repair their folly.

Hi both, thanks for your comments. Yes it's weird that the previews all cut out the cumshot, i.e. the best bit. Sites do need to protect their content against those who'll never pay, but they also need to offer enough to draw the customer in. A mistake I hope they correct.
Signup also has a pre-checked membership of www.purecfnm.com, generally I hate pre-checks but this was only a few dollars for month one. Still shows $9.99 on the gfleaks join page for me. Google "gfleaks discount". Some discount site had all realitykings sites for that price this weekend. I've seen that before on holiday weekends. The site seems to know if you've visited a discount site and shows a different price accordingly. That is for the first month only then jumps to $30. The normal discount price is usually $15, but doesn't jump on the second month. I might join tomorrow or wait for Labor Day.

Thank you very much, it pleases me to be a part a very warm and friendly community. I absolutely agree with deep dives. I may not be able to explore every nook and cranny, but us "amateurs" will definitely be able to find stuff TBP may miss or not address what could potentially be vital information that can make or break subscriptions (download limits in your case certainly is one if it's really disruptive). I also believe we won't hold back if we dislike something either, which is something TBP understandably can't do to the same extent as us. I'll try to write more, once again thanks!

I don't know if this makes me weird(or weirder) but one of the main reasons why I like IR is because I like the contrast in skin color between the performers. I don't care if it's a black woman with a black man or vice versa. As long as there is a contrast than I'm happy. Not sure if this is one of the appeals of IR or if like anal and other sexual fetishes. It is still a taboo subject. In fact it would quite easy to argue that IR is in many ways more taboo than almost any other fetish(baring the illegal ones).
I'm sure that at some point I will join Dark X but unless they get an exclusive scene that I must have than it will be many months before I even consider joining.

I completely understand your reason and I see nothing wrong with it. I do wonder if you would have been as magnanimous if you had to pay full price instead of the TBP/PU discount. Don't get wrong. I joined Tushy and paid the full price all the while knowing that there wasn't a lot of content and updates were once a week so cost isn't always an issue but in this case I think what Dark X and in many ways what Hard X has done is borderline reprehensible because Dark is not really going to be a true stand alone site so much as a site that the owners of Hard X will now upload the IR content they would have once used on their own site. Instead of having a much bigger site with more updates. I think you will now have two smaller sites with fewer updates.
Of course I may be all wrong and this is just the beginning of them shooting way more content to update both sites.

Another excellent review. I agree with you that IR in porn term is somewhat different than IR in real life. In porn IR tends to always mean a black man or woman with a white man or woman. As much as I enjoy IR porn.
This is one of those sites that I classify under not going to join for a very long time because it's going to take them a long time to accumulate content. Worse it actually penalizes it's sister site Hard X because the people behind Dark X didn't so much create a brand stand alone new site as they stole the content that would have once gone to Hard X and used it to supply a IR only site. It's not like Hard X has already a huge library of content but now they will either have to share the same content or see some scenes that would have once been on their site get used on Dark X.

There are other crazy expensive deals around the internet these days - I've considered joining Little Caprice's site, given how hot she is - far beyond what I would pay. I should be on a limited porn budget, and constantly go over my spending limits.
So I doubt I would ever join the Team Skeet premium unlimited plan.
Also, it just makes sense to me if I join a site, I expect to get bonus sites thrown in.
Though I do join single sites (Metart, Nubile Films, etc.) that are stand-alone sites, if the content is superior.

It used to be very confusing but I they have finally found a way to make it easier to understand. You have the networks 21sextury and 21 sextreme. Joining either network gives you access to a list of sites only availble through that network. You can preview the content on the other network but that's all. The only decision to make is which has the most content you like. There are a couple of nice sites on 21sextreme but it doesn't compare to the number on 21sextury for the type of porn I like.

The unfortunate part is that I rank DDFProd and 21Sextury as the two top sites and have been a member of both for an extended period.
However, since the day I was dumped by DDFProd, I'm finding even more treasures on 21Sextury.com because I have time to dig in deeper. It's truly an amazing site.
If DDFProd.com restores the $29.95 price, though, I'm back with them for sure.

I'm sorry the site was disappointing for you, but glad you're able to explore new sites that might be worthwhile joins.
So you took one for the home team, which is always a good thing
(always better when it's someone else who spends their money on a disappointing site, most people agree).
Sites like Blacked, Tushy and Vixen are valuable when they have enough content to be worth joining, because of the excellent visuals, lovely models.
But the thrill seems to wear off after a while.
Maybe it's part of human nature to want fresh content, and the Mad Cheddar sites just seem to lose their appeal after a short while.
Or maybe I'm just getting older, and most porn is not as astounding or potent as it used to be.
Adult Time impresses me because of the massive amount of content (over 50,000 videos, in a wide variety of niches), and the quality at many of the sites is excellent.
That, combined with a low price (I love holiday discounts) makes a winning combination.
But the best site in the network, for me, is the Pure Taboo site, which I enjoy because some of the videos are like short porn movies from the 1970s, with a dirty plot and some lovely models.

And the PU staff is aware of this.
My unbiased recommendation for the Memorial holiday sale is Adult Time, which I've seen advertised for $7.50/month, although there might be even better prices around.H
Has the PU staff done any thinking on the award for best review of the month yet?
In past reviews, I was thoroughly impressed with Shen and MrBison, both relative newbies at PU who have submitted outstanding site reviews.

The Riley scene with me was one of her early scenes as well as one of my first fucking scenes. Condoms were used because of my wife's insistance. The cumshot was in the "bondage sex" portion of the scene, we just couldn't post full length scenes through our server back then.
