A while back I did a trial thing with them....I couldn't find any movie that would download except the movies from the behind the scenes section. Only some of the movies would stream.
I thought perhaps it had to do with the trial. I see it wasn't.
There's no customer service either.
Is a shame, looked like good content.

In this case a 50 is probably deserved. if you can't even get the content a site is worthless. A refund is truly in order. You could contact the billing company to complain and get a refund, that actually does work occasionally. That might get their attention. I know how I am personally and probably wouldn't pursue it much and just cut my losses. But I hope you get your money back.
I can't figure out why a company like diabolic would let their official website get this way. You're right, web porn is the future. It could be the end of sorts for them. Maybe they would rather just be a company that films material and licenses it out to other websites so they don't have to worry about the costs of running a download site. That would make sense. I hope they were just in the process of overhauling things.
This should serve as a good warning for other PU's.

There have been no new updates since March 2008. Ole Cap must be out of commisson, maybe in dry-dock. They should revive this site with a new captain. FYI: it's park of Reality Kings.

Yes, agreed, the DRM thing has got to go and it's a good campaign that we should all fight. And, I think we've won some of the battles. I dont know about file sharing sites. I've tried eMule and some Bit Torrent thing, but had a lot of problems with downloaded files. I'm not as techy as most guys though, so it was probably me.
I would like to pick another fight and that is the one against Download Limits. I will NOT join a site with a DL limit. There are too many good sites without them. Why would they have them other than to just milk their customers for more and more monthly fees. I've belonged to VideoBox for two years, at a reasonable monthly price, and they have no DL limits. Why do customers stay there? Because they put up enough damn updates to keep us on board. Sites like Reality Kings, which admittedly, has some great content, imposes these ridiculuous limits on us. I refuse to join a site like that again.
In conclusion, I'm glad this site and TBP exist and I'm very happy that there are users that care enough to help us make our decisions easier and more economical. Thanks to all.

An issue that has NOT been resolved - inconsistent updates.
At this point, the last update was on 9/18/08. There are times when they are adding a new DVD every couple of days. There are other times when there are long periods of time between updates.

I had this happen to me on Eve Angel's site last year. The payment processor said that there is only a certain amount of months they can recur your account, without opening a new account. I don't know if this is some kind of new rule or maybe it could even depend on who you have your card with, they could be stopping it after so many months since there are so many scams these days that charge a person's card every month without them even noticing. The limit on mine was 12 months, after that, I had to go back and re-register. So, I wouldn't count on it being VB's fault. I know there has been a scam going where a place calls and says you have won X amount of free gas, to confirm your birthday, by pressing it in and somehow, they then have you "confirmed" into a coupon club that costs $15 a month. Then again, you aren't likely to get an answer from VB, I've sent them a dozen or so support mails over the years and never received a reply.

When my non-recurring long term membership expired a few months back they did not say anything either. What mad me a bit mad is that I could not simply renew or even use the same username!
Now in their defense on your issue. Assuming you went through CCBill, VB would not actually have your credit card information. So, they would have no idea your information was going to change, and CCBill handles all that stuff for them. You can update your information on CCBill now to prevent these issues.

I will definitely update my review on the site shortly. I wanted a chance to thoroughly go through the site one more time and take the time to edit my review responsibly. I went ahead and added the comment about video improvements quickly to acknowledge that Diabolic has indeed made some changes and listened to it's customers. They obviously want to improve their site and I certainly applaude them for that.
I by no means want to saddle someone with a bad review if they no longer deserve it in my opinion. My only goal on this forum is to be fair and share my experiences honestly.

Thanks for the detailed info. I would like to address a few points.
The Cast:
We came into this project (taking Diabolic online) way late in the game and to be honest there is not one person who knows every cast members, the scene breakdowns info was incomplete as many if not all the older Diabolic directors have moved on and no longer work there.
Diabolic would shoot new fresh talent once, that in some cases the girl would not even shoot ever again or changed her name.
Regardless, were constantly updated the info and it's a big task when you’re dealing with thousands of performers.
Download Sizes:
We ARE going to bump these up to 1500k (640x480) in the very near future, we just have to make adjustment to the servers to handle the double (if not triple) downloading.
The site is doing very well and the comments and suggestions were getting really help us give you guys the best product we can, so please keep them coming. Look for some new cool member features really soon too.
