My advice, for what it's worth - unless you would be too embarassed to do so, follow the procedure with your credit card company to challenge the charges. Let them know that you had signed up for a 3-day trial, had cancelled within that period (any e-mails that you can produce would be helpful) and ask them to reverse the incorrect charges. Most credit card companies are willing to charge back in these types of circumstances.
And a site that operates unethically and has a high number or percentage of such chargebacks is in great danger of being cut off by their credit card processor(s), so don't let them get away with it.

I would have to think that whichever company actually charged your card would be able to help even if they "aren't dealing with that site" any longer. Regardless, sorry you got jipped and I hope you get it sorted out.
