Thankfully, TMW is a large network, and there are plenty of other TMW sites that I can review.
That's one reason I maintain a long-term membership at the network.

I strongly disagree with you. Jimmy was not polite in his replies in virtually any capacity. There is a way to conduct feedback in a constructive manner. He told mbaya that "maybe he doesn't like Asians" and to not "pretend to be some objective observer just doing a public service". This is clearly condescending dialogue attempting to elicit a reaction. He asked whether exotics' review was a "late April Fool's joke"? How is he simply providing feedback and correcting misinformation? He is slipping in these types of comments in every other line. He also highlighted the score of exotics' review on multiple occasions as a "laughing stock". You say that mbaya was being pretentious when confronted about his error but you say that as if the webmaster was not pretentious in the first place. Two wrongs don't make a right though, so I will acknowledge that.
I understand that he is frustrated with the scores his site have received. No webmaster would react in rapture at all when greeted with such scores. He is also well within his rights to be unhappy should a reviewer get something factually wrong. It is his product and he is perfectly entitled to criticise. Yes, mbaya should have admitted when he said he does not frequent those tube sites. But the way the webmaster reacted is unacceptable in my opinion. He also went as far as to bring others from his site into the equation, which is against site rules.
I feel that the 99 score that came in some time ago was what pushed mbaya to do the review after a culmination of multiple reviews that seemed dubious and vague yet had very high scores. I do not feel it was a case of "discrediting" a specific review but to see if this site really is as good as all these reviews suggest.
Jimmy clearly dispensed with a constructive discussion and chose to opt for a points match, maybe a flame war. I'm not going to pretend that we were harmless in our discussion but for the most part the way we spoke did not warrant the level of malice the webmaster displayed. I know in my last reply that I gave in and it is a moment I am not proud of.
Just my two cents.

My solution is to start the slide show then drag and drop the picture into the waiting file. speeds things up yes but should offer zip files.

You're right. On the second page of the signup pages, it says:
"Membership renews automatically at $27.95 every 30 days until canceled."
But on the first page of the signup page, it says:
"Monthly for $ 9.95"
Kind of misleading.
Glad you pointed that out.
And like TheSquirrel wrote, you need to uncheck the pre-checked offer, or you will be charged for a trial subscription.

Thanks tangub. The join link today is still directing me to dodgybilling.com I never thought of searching direct on epoch. Did that and found what you found. The cheapest is £20.27 GBP which is $31.41.

If nothing else, you can value Twistys as an archive site because of the huge amount of past content.
But it will be interesting to see how the new content changes. I never liked Brazzers. What I'm hoping to see is a new Twistys with a slightly harder edge. But still keeping the glamor-style. With good-looking models.
Is that too much to hope for?

Hi Tangub....I can tell you the bit rate and quality of the vids is poor and inconsistent....most are 500kbs but there were a few that were 1mb which even by today's standards is poor....moreover, the vids are not organized and are pretty much a regurgitation of rachels vid site....there are absolutely no vids that are 20 to 30 mins as Dougie had mentioned in another post....I have no affiliation with this site whatsoever.....hope this helps!

I have no idea what bitrates the videos are, and it doesn’t really bother me anyway, but yes you can download all the videos as I have saved them all so far to my computer
Everyone has there own "thing" and for me its real proper amateur videos, I don’t like staged stuff that almost every video site out there shows, its a brand new site but so far I like all I see because its real, and that’s the bottom line for me.

Don't know how I missed the network sign up, but I'm glad you pointed it out. I've been on a couple of the other sites before and think that the $49.95 would be worth it, even if for a one-time shot.

It's a great shame that a site like VideoBox, which outwardly offers a straightforward service, lacking the tricks, scams & spam of certain other porn sites, let itself down at the last hurdle like this.
There is simply no acceptable reason not to let subscribers pay in US dollars along with all the rest of the US customers, and let the conversion rate be settled between the customer and their card company. I think the site managers of VB might like to reflect on how the wider world views these stunts.

You can do a "special" or "advanced" search at The Best Porn (the sister site of PU), and search by cost for sites.
Can also search by "special offers" and a lot of other factors, if you want to add those to the search.

I agree 100%. The site should be tagged as lesbian because that's a strong part of it and they do it really well. It reminds me of when I was pleasantly surprised to find so much public flashing and exhibitionism on FTV Girls.
So let it be known through these comments: if you like lesbain material, you need to seriously consider a membership to Viv Thomas.

It’s funny how much alike our reactions to this site are and that the reasons for those reactions are almost identical. Like you, I’m coming off of a Young Legal Porn membership and that membership really changed porn for me. I don’t mean to sound like I’m exaggerating because I’m not. I’ve been buying online porn for a long time and YLP was like a breath of fresh air. (A minor difference for me is that my favourite models are Gloria and Ivana.) I was thinking of joining Videobox again but I just don’t have the desire to join another site with generic porn. Viv Thomas isn’t necessarily generic porn – it’s actually great porn – but it does follow the model of most other mainstream porn. When I write a review I’m going to try to be objective and not subjective. Had I joined Viv Thomas before YLP I’m sure I’d have liked it a lot more. That’s no criticism of Viv Thomas since I suspect that would have happened to any site that followed YLP.

Great review! I joined using the Halloween special they had and I'm impressed too. I'd never heard of Viv Thomas, probably because I don't collect a lot of European porn, but this is a seriously good site. I agree that the site is big enough that it needs better navigation.

I ended up paying about $14CDN which still isn't bad. Maybe the site owners figure that since they give a TBP discount already that there is no need to offer a further discount. But it could just be a technical glitch too.
Oops... I should have read the whole thread of comments since the webmaster replied...
I'm looking forward to spending some time at this site. It isn't my normal kind of site but neither was Young Legal Porn and the related sites and I found those to be among the best I've ever had a membership to.

Thanks for the update. Based on what you were seeing I logged on to the site directly using my iPad and I was given the discount offer. The offer isn't exactly a 50% discount because it is only offered in Euros so it doesn't convert to half. But a discount is a discount and I appreciate it. I cleared my history on my PC and entered the site directly and there was the offer. So I signed up. These types of sites are not normally what I'm interested in, but most people seem to like it so I'll try it at the discounted price.
All that to say that DO NOT ENTER VIV THOMAS THROUGH TBP/PU or you won't see the discount offer. If you have, clear your history and you should be okay.
I'm not tech-savvy enough to explain what you're experiencing, tangub, but is it possible you haven't clicked off all the possible boxes for clearing your history and some category is remaining behind?
