I personally think Pure Taboo is the best site in the Adult Time network, because I really enjoy the videos, which can be dark in tone and lighting (maybe a little too dark in lighting).
I think that Pure Taboo and Teen Fidelity are best in class for the cinematic quality of their porn videos.
Both sites feature hardcore porn with high production values.
And both sites inject a plot element that heightens the impact of the porn.
You have to let your mind go a little, to enjoy the story/action. But the sites are creating what I think of as artistic or cinematic porn on the dark side.
I think that some of the videos at the Pure Taboo site are impressive.
Some might dismiss or not appreciate the artistic approach to hardcore porn.
And some of the plot lines can be foolish.
But the site tries to create a perverted sense of hardcore porn, that I find valuable. It's like watching early visions of The Twilight Zone, done in hardcore style.
So I disagree with professional porn reviewers, who score the site in the 70s. The site has some videos that are worth watching: you are watching movie-quality porn (except the acting or plot can be funky).
For fake incest porn, my favorite site is FamilyTherapy.com.
The stunt cock is impressive: he takes a slow approach to arousing the girl.
And some of the girls, while the acting is not always impressive, can be cute:

But the internet was a fantastic push for low-cost porn, both for producing and access.

Personal preference: I enjoy the Pure Taboo site much more than the Pretty Dirty site.
I mainly like the acting. The models seem to do a much better acting job at this site than at most other porn sites they appear at. Perhaps it's the expanded roles they play, but it gives the model a chance to act, instead of just to scream and moan.
And I don't mind waiting 10 or 15 minutes for the sexual action to start. The stories can be interesting. And the models are not only cute, but I enjoy watching them act. That's just me. Other PU members, like you indicated, might want the action to start sooner

I would guess that if you are good at searches, you would be able to find the $14.95 for 2 months.
But join through Pure Taboo, because that gives you streaming and downloading privileges, to Pretty Dirty (I don't know if you get access to the entire Pretty Dirty site, or limited access to that site-but you do get free downloads at Pretty Dirty with a Pure Taboo membership--while TBP says that if you join Pretty Dirty directy, you have to pay extra for downloads.
It's true the videos and photos are slightly dark, but you should have no problems with viewing the videos and photos. I think they were going for a slightly artistic effect. And I've seen other sites where the scenes were so dark it was hard to see the models. That is not the case here.
I agree Eva is very nice-looking, but on a cost-value basis, I think I'll go for a teen mega-site, like mypreciousvirgins or something similar. Solo teen sites are tempting, but too expensive, unless I'm ready to marry the girl inside. :)

My impression from the preview pages is that this is part of a small network, but each site is joined by itself. Which makes it expensive.
Most of the sites I looked at appear to have stopped updating in 2009. And the updates look to have been slowing before then.
The reannamae site appears to still be updating. But she is, to me, less attractive than Eva or Princess Alla (Princess Alla is named Christina at Purrfect Girls).

A regular DVD (for a commercial movie) is around 700 MB. So why are the file sizes so large? You certainly don't get any massive improvement in video or audio quality that I can see to justify the huge increase in size. Is it really just an inefficient use of file size?

I do not know why, but it seems the common practice for porn sites to charge a higher membership fee when you join through a trial offer than when you join directly without the trial.
But there is a similar type of unfair pricing for "legitimate" businesses. Newspapers, for example, will offer a lower subscription fee to non-subscribers than to subscribers. So instead of rewarding people who are "loyal" subscribers with lower rates, they offer the lower rates to non-members in the hope of increasing the number of members. The difference in pricing can be large.
I've been dinged a few times by billers when I didn't find a pre-checked cross-sale, but never had the persistence to get them to reverse the charge. But it was always small change, 2 or 3 dollars.
But I'm glad you're sticking up for the rest of us.
I was a member of a Japanese porn site that had a download limit. I didn't exceed the limit, but I was blocked anyway, because their download limit counter didn't count correctly. That happened to me a few times, and I got so frustrated, I barely used my 1 month membership at the site. Emotions triumphing over practicality.

You ask if people have noticed an increase in spam.
Personally, I have not. The increased spam you have seen lately is far beyond what I get in my email boxes.
Even accounting for your 3 email addresses, for public, personal, and business, you are getting a large amount of spam. I've had one main email address for over 10 years, and I don't get anywhere near the spam you are reporting, in sexual, career, or other types of spam.
Somehow your email addresses got into the spam databanks.
So like I suggested before, either you get a really good filter, which will direct almost all the spam to a spam box, or you get new email addresses. I'm not an expert, but my understanding is that once you're in the spam databases, you're screwed, because the spam will not go away in the future, as long as those "infected" or "exposed" email addresses are current.
But as far as spam, that's a personal issue, and a fact of life. Unless you're really good with computers and know how to filter your email, if you've been online for a while and have a regular email address, you're almost sure to get a lot of daily spam.
Some of the spam will be sex-related, other spam will be general junk offers.
Just like what you get in the old-style mail box, except that you don't get sex-related spam in the mail box. And that's only because it costs real money to send the old-style mail.
