I look at it this way. Once you're on the net, you're forever on the net and you'd be surprised at how many "nice" people look at porn sites. The last thing you'd want is your co-worker posting a print out picture of your online escapade on your desk some day. If I'm 80 then I probably wouldn't care, hell, in fact I'd be proud. Until then, it just seems a bit job / privacy risky for this dude even if you're somewhat obscured.

Just wanted to say welcome to PU and that I was impressed with your first review here. Hope to see some more soon. Regarding the picture statistics (1200x800) that refers to the pixel size; slightly bigger then what most people have their computer monitors set up to show.

I posted the $20 a month deal from this other site regarding Met Art a few months ago and then TBP added the discount a few weeks later. I imagine / hope that will also happen here. No since on TBP losing out on revenue streams that other sites are offering and you figure TBP carries more clout than some of these other discount sites.
I don't particularly like "cheating on" PU/TBP either but money is money (from one cheap bastard to another).

Good to know. The did a similar site about 18 months ago (all teen content amassed from other DDF sites) and that didn't seem to last too long. Don't know why they got the sudden desire to get back into the same situation unless there's some untapped market they're thinking they might reach. However, I think they're just going to cheese off more DDF fans than get new subscribers unless the price is a lot lower than their usual $30+ a month.

Hi Peterhd and welcome to PU. Just wanted to let you that you're going to catch some flak for giving a site a perfect 100 rating when they don't even update any more. As a basic pointer, reviews generally have specifics like the number of sets available, types of vids available, restrictions on downloadable content and stuff of that nature along with opinions. As your review currently stands, its mostly about personal preferences. As such, your review is more along the lines of a comment than a review but to each their own. You're going to have to provide a lot more information about why this site should be considered a "100" in order for your review to be taken seriously by people who visit PU.

Let me try here. Videobox is one of the top scoring sites here and on almost every other mainstream review site. They have a ton of content, good navigation and decent quality. True, they're starting to tweak people with their premium channel stuff but it's still miles ahead of most other sites except when it comes to exclusivity.
With a score of 70 it sounds to me like you just didn't like the content. While that's perfectly fine, that shouldn't necessarily drive the score down to a 70. At that point, you're letting personal preferences dictate your review score, not the attributes of the site itself in comparison to similar porn sites. Obviously you're entitled to your opinion but I don't think many others would agree with you.

For me, it's mostly news, sudoku (I'm addicted) and a few odds and ends. Of course, PU tops the list ;) My favorite site for laughs on a daily basis is http://icanhascheezburger.com/ which is network of sites featuring viewer submitted pics (animals, celebs, news, stupid stuff) that have funny captions; always makes me laugh and it's clean enough to view at work/in public.

I agree that 4000 pixel images are a bit over the top today but generally the stuff we collect we intend to keep for a long time so you have to look beyond today. It's already possible to hook up monitor feeds to tvs and as technology moves along our tv will also become a major feed for porn. Who the heck would want a 900x600 image on a 48" HD tv screen? So, while huge pics maybe overboard today, you may thank yourself for having big ass pics (or movies) in the future.

This is one of those polls that is "loaded" in that it appeals to what you really want the most: pics, vids, or new content. I'll jump on the Drooler wagon and bitch about pics because I like them the most and they're probably the easiest for sites to fix.
Everyone shoots digitally today and no one uses cell phones to do professional shoots so were talking about pic sizes that well above 4 megapixels in size. But what do sites do? They think the pics are too big (apparently we can't handle the truth) so they shrink them down to 900x600 and call it good. NOT! A 2000 pixel image isn't going to take more than a second or two longer to download than a smaller one. The file size is virtually nothing compared to video sizes. This is an easy way to draw more customers (albeit a minority as most people dig vids more) with virtually no expense and effort other than changing the pixel sizes. Instead they're either just living in the past and think a 13" monitor is all anyone has or they're just lazy.

It seems to me that having this kind of system would get pretty tedious and not so funny after a while. "Angelina Crowe Sex with Nasty Dick Cheney Faced Thong Dude" would be too long of a title and lose it's punch after a while. Boredom for the masses I say.

When you start getting too many bodies in the scene it just gets to be too much, especially if you mostly collect pictures like me. Also, in the multiple partner sets the girl(s) becomes nothing more than a sex object. So, I like BG mostly.
