I think that one of the hallmarks of a good review(er) is the ability to be objective. You stated that the extreme fisting and prolapsing weren't your thing but objectively assessed and scored the site regardless of that. I find some reviewers dismiss a site because they don't like the porn. I'd like to think that you or I, and many others here, could objectively review a site that we had no interest in at all or even something that was actually a turn-off.

Agreed. I currently have memberships to Hardcore Gang Bang (which now includes Bound Gangbangs ) and Public Disgrace. Some of the scenes are incredible.

I agree. When I first became a Kink customer they really seemed to be different. Back then I wouldn't have been surprised if they reported the glitch and extended memberships by two weeks to compensate people.

Coincidentally I stumbled on your comment when I came here to post the same thing. I'm not a member now, and haven't been for about a year, but I noticed that the December 30th update was "The Star Player" starring Amy Brooke and Isis Love. This was immediately apparent to me because this is my favorite EB scene, and among my favorite Amy Brooke scenes. (Boo to new boobs!!!) But I have it already and therefore I know it's a repost.
Back a year or so ago I also noticed that they removed the upload dates from all the scenes at Water Bondage so it isn't immediately apparent that this site hasn't updated in a long time.
I always felt that Kink seemed to be much more ethical than this. When I joined my first Kink site maybe four or more years ago I screwed up my account and I was very impressed with how quick and helpful they were.
I hope all of these signs don't point to trouble at the best BDSM sites on the internet.

I'm a big fan of Kink stuff and of EB too. I agree with just about everything you said, though I don't have the same dislike of enemas that you do. I say 'bring 'em on!'
Their choice to break up the photo zips is strange. Yes, I realize that there may be people who only want one 'scene' within a full scene, but there are those who want the whole thing so that should be an option too.
I'm sure I read this on PU earlier today, but Bound Gangbangs is changing to keep Visa happy. If this is true (and I've heard that Visa has become somewhat moralistic) I hope this doesn't require all of Kink's sites to tone it down. As you point out, Kink is BDSM for the pleasure of the female models - this isn't Max Hardcore or Facial Abuse. To some church-going matron these subtle differences would be meaningless though. Hell, to most normal people they'd be meaningless, so I guess that means that people like you and me aren't normal...

Great review of a great site! Not that I need validation, but I'm glad to see that both you and mbaya found that the site had a change in focus from kink to more more mainstream. I prefer the kinkier days but EB, like a lot of other Kink.com sites will still have me as a regular member.

Apart from having the best BDSM sites, the staff support is top notch too. I wish all porn sites were as high quality and ethical as these guys. I also think it's great that they own and run such a cool facility in San Francisco.

mbaya: I agree 100% with your review. Yes, reviews are subjective, but you hit on a point I've made several times: Kink.com is a recipe for quality. If you like what they offer, they offer it in the best way. If you don't like what they offer, they still offer it better than anyone else.
I only wish that all porn companies were like Kink.
(And, no, I have no relationship with them other the being an extremely satisfied customer.)

mbaya - JayG's review is accurate. This is an AMAZING site for a really specific niche - it's all about anal play, not anal sex. And being part of the Kink network guarantees quality. I assume that there are some free samples available and this may help you decide whether the site is for you or not.

Given that the scenes tend to be fairly long and the site itself is so unique I think that there is decent value for the money. This is obviously a fairly subjective thing though. If you join one of the Kink sites at full price that does give you other sites at a discount. That can make it a little more appealing. If you have an ass fetish, this site is great.

I was a big Joey Silvera fan back in his pre-TS days but didn't really follow him after he moved in that direction. I just wasn't interested in TS stuff then. I agree that some of the TS models these days are STUNNING!

It's an interesting position to read of someone overwhelmed at the size of EA. I can see how that can happen to someone joining for the first time. There is just so much there you almost don't know where to start.
Keep in mind that EA offers discounts often so with the discounted membership you have now just poke around and find some stuff you like. It won't cost much to go back later and browse for more. It's like that old question about how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
(If it's any consolation I recently joined Adult Time for the first time and I'm feeling the same way about that.)

lk2fireone is right that you can often get discounts at holidays. Keep an eye on TBP as Evil Angel regularly offers discounts through here. One warning though - I've used a $5 discounted price a few times and it's streaming only. That wasn't apparent when I took the deal the first time. Whatever deal you take check to see that it's recurring and that you can download (unless you prefer streaming and then the $5 deals are perfect for you).

It must be that I joined Fantasy Massage using the $5 streaming-only discount that prevents me from getting Adult Time access. I've tried my username/password to the three Gamma sites I have memberships to and none of those work. All three memberships were that heavily discounted one.
The next time I join a Gamma site with a regular membership I'll definitely try it though.
As for me being mentioned at the In the Crack site, I get around. :-)

Thanks for this. I like the idea of a 'Netflix of porn' by a company with such a broad range of sites and a reputation for quality. If they offered this at a reasonable price I'd join and likely never leave. I don't know what that 'reasonable price' is though. I'd pay $50 USD per month because I know Gamma's stuff and like it but a less dedicated collector may balk at that price.
I recently joined three Gamma sites with Black Friday deals (B Skow, Evil Angel and Fantasy Massage) and it doesn't appear that I have Adult Time access. This may be because the discount memberships I have are all really inexpensive ($5) and are streaming only.
I'm a regular subscriber to many Gamma sites so when I join one again soon I'll have to see what happens.

I wasn't aware that this network existed. When i try to go to 'adulttime.com' I get to the right site (it looks like a Gamma site) but I'm brought to the login page with no means to get back to a main page. I've tried the links on the login page and all of them loop right back to the login. I've tried modifying the address and that just defaults back to the login page. The odd thing is that I can't even join because there is no option for that. I have to have magically joined somehow and then the main page allows me to sign in.
Do you have a link to a preview page? How much is the monthly membership?

I'm not questioning your experience with the site, but like Pinkpanther above, I've never experienced anything like that at Evil Angel. I have a current membership there and have been a member many times in the past. The downloads have always been fast and flawless for me. Contact tech support and see if they can offer a solution.

I currently have a membership at EA and I came here to write that we're seeing different things. I just checked and it turns out that we are but it makes no obvious sense why we would be. It seems that one tab makes bi and trans stuff an option and another doesn't. When I log in the default page is on the 'Videos' tab and there are options to include or exclude trans and bi scenes. Both of those aren't checked off so presumably someone has to actively turn them on to see that.
But... I immediately go to the 'Movies' tab because I prefer to catalogue the scenes by model within a DVD title and there are no options regarding the trans or bi stuff on that page - it's always active and visible.
I sure hope you're wrong about why EA would make it harder to see trans and bi stuff. Anyone with a membership to EA should be open-minded enough to ignore stuff they don't like. Hell, I don't like large breasts so I skip those titles but my evening isn't ruined if I see a large-breasted woman. But sadly, you're probably right that people complained...

You haven't barfed from alcohol consumption since you were 26?? You're not doing it right! (Kidding... barfing from over-consumption is something that we should only have to experience once.)
You're probably safe checking out the HUHS stuff at EA because the very drooly parts (or worse) of the scenes are edited out. Any watersports are also cut. I presume that this is because EA also still makes DVDs and those would attract law enforcement if they were shipped into some states. Once you have those bits out of the scenes you're probably fine. Since you're a big Kink fan too anything on the more extreme end probably isn't a huge deal.
